Rating: Summary: Slightly Deranged Review: Well, don't read it if you can't handle it. This book is seriously real life. Annie, who was raped, beaten, and used for a sex slave by her boyfriend, finds herself pregnant. It is quite disturbing how Annie kept going back to her sleezebag boyfriend even though he is a jerk. This really shows Annie's vulnerability, it makes you want to keep reading to make sure everything works out okay. It was one of those books where the ending wasn't exactly happy, but you feel content with it because you know it worked out just the way it should have. I reccomend this book in it's entirety.
Rating: Summary: Excellent book for young girls Review: I saw this book when I was younger but didn't get around to reading it until I turned 18. It was a good book for a young girls and lets them in on a little bit of reality. Of course I wouldn't think every girl would be so naive as Annie was but I guess there are girls out there like her. I think it's perfect for girls to realize that some things just aren't worth it.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Book Review: I read this book because I wanted to know what it was it like being a preganant teenager. I know I'll never experience teen pregnancy because of my sexuality. It was very sad and I thought that was so wrong how Danny treated her. Even though this book was great and really taught me about teen pregnancy there are a couple of disagreements I have. First, I thought Annie should have told her mother that Danny raped her. Second, I thought she should have gave more love to her baby although she probably had a lot of love deep down inside. I thought she could have expressed it more. But that is probably just me and I've never been a pregnant teenager. But I do understand how she feels because it is very hard raising a baby when you're boyfriend doesn't care at all and people make fun of you and think you have a bad reputation. But in the end I thought it was right what she did and I agree with her on that. Even thought the book made me cry when I was reading it, the book did have a wonderful ending. I do give this book 5 stars and I think anyone who thinks of doing it or makes fun of teen pregnancy should definatley no word read this book.
Rating: Summary: Fake, fake, fake Review: This book is just another ghostwritten novel presented as real by the Queen of Fakery Beatrice Sparks. Don't waste your time or money.
Rating: Summary: A different Story Review: This book was so depressing at the begining I was crying every night, but at the end I was so happy how she drematicly changed her life around!
Rating: Summary: Good book for teenager girls Review: I would recommend this book for all teenage girl. It is about a young teenage girl getting pregnant at the age of 14. It's really sad how her boyfreind treated her and abused her. He would always call her bad names. When she told him that she was pregnant he just left her and told her that he didn't care and that it wasn't his baby. But Annie's mom was very supportive of her. Annie's mom worked two jobs just to pay all the bills and she didn't even yell at Annie when she told her that she was pregnant. I think that this book would be a good reason why girls should wait to do it. And the saying "everyone's doing it" isn't true because everyone isn't.
Rating: Summary: What a stong teenager Review: Amazing, horrifying, and shocking are the three words that best describe Annie's Baby by an anonymous teenager. The book is about a girl who is an outcast at her school. She is only fourteen years old. She gets involved with the captain on the football team. Annie's mother won't let her date until she's sixteen, so she dates Danny behind him be hind her moms back. Danny takes her to a party and on the way home he rapes her, Annie finds out that she's pregnant. Annie has taught me a valuable lesson. The lesson is not to get too friendly with a guy unless you're ready to face all the consequences. If your willing to hear about a teenager gets her life ruined by one simple accident then you should read the book!
Rating: Summary: Annie, Oh, Annie! Review: The book, Annie's baby is a great book. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. The book is very realistic which makes it better to read and is always going from good to bad. The plot of the story keeps you reading until the end! This enjoyable book is about a teenager who finds herself helplessly involved in a boy she loves. At first this boy seems really nice and makes you feel really happy for Annie. But, things start to happen. He starts to get involved in other things besides Annie. His attitude towards her changes and he starts to get a little abusive. She loves this man so much that she won't tell on him or hurt him in anyway. After awhile of this, the boy's attitude changes once again. They start to be "combined at the hip" again and forget about everything else. This all leads to Annie getting pregnant, but at the wrong time. When she goes to tell her boyfriend she is carrying his child, he flips out and denies that it is his. Without the help of the boyfriend and his family, Annie goes on to have the baby. With the help of her mom they make if through the delivery. But, as Annie's life goes on she starts to think about if she is going to be able to raise this baby or not? So, read this book and find out what happens to Annie and her baby as their lives progress.
Rating: Summary: Annie's Baby Review: Annie's Baby is a good book to read.I think that this book is to give an example to teenage kid like me or others.I want to say that if I was Annie I would think perfectly what I was doing. Annie did a big mistake just by doing what Danny wanted.I think that it was all Annies falt that she got pregnat if by that time she would just dump Danny none of this those would had happen.I feel realy sorry for Annie because she has to go throug a big responsibility of taking care of a baby.If I was Anies friend by the time I knew that Danny treated her bad I would just tell her to drop him.Congradulations for having your baby and for not aborting
Rating: Summary: Hardly helpful... Review: I bought this book because I am a pregnant teen trying to inform myself. This book bothered me because it is written at a third grade reading level, and all Annie does is complain. She never ONCE says she even cares about her baby, let alone love her. It is the epitimy of all the bad things that can happen in teen pregnancy.
