Summary: I loved it! It's my new favorite book!
Review: I just finished the book today. I read it in two days. It was so good. I'm going to read it over and over(I got from the library though so i'll have to buy it) I never thought of becoming a pregnant teen but now I'm even more sure that I won't! I think every girl should read this book. It will show them the hard it is to be a pregnant teenand mabye girls would be a little bit more careful with stuff like that. It was the best book!

Summary: A real diary? I don't think so.
Review: I just completed "Annie's Baby" less than ten minutes ago, and was so disgusted with its amateurish attempts at 15-year-old vernacular that I rushed over to the computer. And, yes, I AM in a position to comment -- I am, actually and truly, 15 years old. First, plain and simple, nobody talks like that. Writing, maybe, but when the suppposed "tape transcripts" were added in? Not only did the syntax of the words not line up, the "conversations" were never meant to be spoken. (I won't even mention that the Q&A at the end of the book, supposedly informative, held many of the same writing styles as the body of the text.) Second, Annie manages to experience a textbook case of every symptom of low self-esteem, depression, abuse, and every other blight associated with teenage pregnancy known to man, not to mention that she is, and is surrounded by, one-dimensional characters that could never exist in real life. I'm sorry that this second attempt at a novel is so poor, since I loved 'Go Ask Alice" (whether it is fiction or not.) At best "Annie" is an amalgam of several actual girls who have gone through a teenage pregnancy, put together shabbily by the author. Dr. Sparks better hope that her readers are as stupid as she has made her heroine out to be.

Summary: The best book ever!!
Review: When I bought this book it was out of boredom. I was in Kmart and I walked by the books. I hadn't read in ages but considering that it was summer and I was really bored so I stopped to look at the book. I hadn't even intended on buying one but I saw it and I flipped through the pages and saw that it was like a diary and diary books were always my favorite when I used to be a big reader so I threw it and one other book--that I have yet to read--into my moms shopping cart. Since we were 100 miles from home shopping at the mall the Kmart we had stopped at was 100 miles from home too so one the way home I started reading 'Annie's Baby' By the time we pulled up in the drive way I only liked 20 pages to the end of the book. I finished it that night and it was the best ever. I only wish I could find another book that could interest me that much.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A nice FICTIONAL book
Review: Annie's Baby is an overall good read(thus the three stars). But 'Annie's' writing is odd. Like 'Alice' and 'Kim' she repeats things 3 times. But the one thing I LOVE about this book is when 'Annie' finds out she's related to 'Dr. B' and automatically knows who she is. I also enjoyed the tape transcription things where her and Sparks talk. You can tell Sparks tries to portray herself as a do-good pyscholgist who would never try to scare kids out of doing things. Despite the unrealistic factor it's an o.k book.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Eh
Review: I though that this book contained a fairly accurate sterotypical summary of a pregnant teen, however I feel like the 50 year old pyscologist are going a bit overboard with the whole pretend diary thing. Unlike go ask alice, I didnt for one seond consider it was real. This book is good if your just reading it for kicks, but if your reading it to get someones first hand expierance, I dont recomend it.
