Summary: It will make a heartless person like me cry
Review: I read this book and had a pretty good idea about what would happen, but the book threw me for a look. Being a teenager I can relate. Some say the book is unrealistic. Maybe it is a little, but I think that the reason Annie is so naive is because of her own father never being around. That has a significant effect on teenage girls, I know. I have also known several very naive teenagers who go out with boys within hours of meeting him, though it is possible to see how a girl could have so little respect for herself as to be pushed around by a guy like Danny. But it was educational for girls that think teen pregnancy will never happen to them. But the fact is things like this happen all time. Innocent girls are taken advantage of by guys and I think that's what happened with Annie. She was blown away that a popular, handsome guy would chose an ordinary girl like her over anyone else and that gave him power over her. I don't think she ever loved Danny. I think because of her lack of a stable father she craved a relationship with a guy. Many people think Annie is stupid but deep inside she was a vunerable, emotional girl who just wanted to be loved. That I can relate to. One major element was missing. I wanted Annie to be traumatized by the rape but instead she went back to him. That is unrealistic because I know a girl that was raped and it took her a long time to move on with her life, especially since she wound up pregnant! The girl came home bruised and could barely speak but was sobbing uncontrollably. She had a break down upon learning she was pregnant and then tried to throw herself down a flight of stairs when her parents wouldn't let her abort. Then she wound up developing a drinking problem and got into a car accident and had her baby boy prematurely as a result. Although she grew to love her baby and her parents were well off and they would both be fine, the emotional scars were still there. Even though Annie didn't get pregnant from her rape, I would have liked ANNIE'S BABY to talk more about her rape because that is the worst thing that could happen to a woman. She should have blamed Danny a little or told her mom about it. But for the most part I liked the book and Annie's feelings toward her baby are realistic and extremely well done.

Summary: This is a MUST READ
Review: This book is the greatest. It may seem like it isn't a real person's diary, or it may seem like the things going on are very extreme. But, it is a good book, and i would definately reccomend it to other girls my age (13/14).

In the book, the girl Annie falls in love with a boy older than her. She thinks he is perfect, a dream perhaps. But, soon, she doesn't want to do anything but be with him. She gives up her friends, and her family to be with him. After being raped by her boyfriend, she finds out she is pregnant. She can't decide if she should keep it or not. Throughout her hard decision of whether or not she can raise her baby, she goes through daring acts that she later regrets. She tells lie after lie trying to make everything she does seem right. But in the end....well....i'll leave that for you to find out.

Summary: easy read, but tends on the unbelievable side
Review: When I saw that my younger sister was reading this book, I was very intrigued and asked to read it after she had finished...The whole thing took just about 2 hours to read, with nothing much to reccomend it in the end. 'Annie' is an unbelivably 2 dimensional character, the dialogue was laughable and the overall tone from the introduction to the final page was preachy. The one thing that this book has to reccomend it is the quizzes included along with the journal, which may help adolecent girls (and women of any age) to reciognize an abusive relationship when they see one. Otherwise, give this one a miss.

Summary: Think before you Do something
Review: A Review by Julissa

Annie's Baby is about a girl named Annie. She loves to be a normal teen. She loves soccer, her mom, and her friends. Until, she met Danny. That's when everything changed. He is a teen, just a bit older than her. She thinks she falls in love right away. But that's not exactly what happened. Annie gives up everything for him. And all he is doing is making her life impossible for her to live. He makes her do things she doesn't want to do. And Danny ends up raping her. After a while she finds out she is pregnant.

I don't understand why Annie put up with all that stuff Danny did. When Danny did something horribly bad Annie would be the one ending up on her knees begging for forgiveness. When I was reading this I thought to myself that if any girl was treated like the way Danny treated Annie they would have left in a split second. But as I can see that is not the case. But when I read this book it made me see what girls would do just to feel loved. But they shouldn't do stuff like that. They should always remember that you have your family.

But overall I really loved this book. It shows that you should always think before you do something. And if you don't, then expect the worst of the worst consequences. I would recommend this book to all teens.

Summary: The Cries of Lil' Annie
Review: If you are the type of person who likes to read sad, but happy and realistic stories, then Annie's Baby is the perfect book for you to read! This is the kind of book that is breath taking. Every time I started to read it I didn't want to put it down because it is so exciting and you want to see what is going to happen next. It has feeling and emotion to it. I think the author is a very good writer. This book relates to another book called Go Ask Alice, which was also written by the same author, because they both have to suffer some hard consequences throughout their lives in the books. This is a must read book. The kind that makes you want to cuddle up in a blanket and cry as you read it. I think this book is good for a teenage girl to read because now I know I am going to wait until I am married and have a good job before I even think about having a child! I don't want to go through all the consequences that Annie went through. I hope a lot of teens learn from this book if they read it.

Summary: Great Book...Bad Ending
Review: Edited by the all-famous Beatrice Sparks (Go Ask Alice, It Happened to Nancy) this book tells the story of 'Annie', a pregnant teen. Annie's story is heart-wrenching and truthful. The only problem I had was the ending. I hate endings that leave you hanging and if your like me, this book is one to look out for.

Summary: Very good book
Review: I found this book to be very informative and realistic. As it is based on a real diary, I think the fact that it was based on someone's life is what might have appealed to me more than a fiction novel.

Annie is a teenager that gets pregnant, she struggles to deal with the fact that this has happened to her and tries to see how she can handle things. Even if life seems terrible at times, she still struggles and learns from all the mistakes she made...the hard way.
