Summary: The Mediator #4: Darkest Hour
Review: Suze is spending her summer working at a hotel -- and that's not exactly how she planned to spend it. And she happens to be babysitting a young mediator named Jack -- a mediator who's a bit more mischievous than he looks. But trouble brews again when the dangerous ghost of Maria de Silva threatens Suze to stop her stepdad Andy from digging up the body of Jesse -- whom Suze knows a bit too well. Maria de Silva is determined that the truth about Jesse not be known, and she'll do anything to stop Suze -- even if it means killing her, which she won't hesitate at. While Suze may be a gifted mediator, there are forces and powers that she'd never even dream of tampering with to ultimately stop the troubles. And although she's faced many dangerous situations before, she will never be able to fathom what in the world she is getting herself into -- something beyond even what she can ever understand... The Mediator #4: Darkest Hour is the best of Jenny Carroll's thrilling Mediator series, and the mix of scares and laughs has never been better. In only four books, The Mediator series has gotten to be the best supernatural series I have ever read. No one should miss Darkest Hour, as it is a pivotal and important book in the series that will leave the reader in shock; the wait for the fifth book is going to be torture.

Summary: By far the best in the series (for now, anyway)
Review: Suze Simon is a mediator. Yes,a mediator - meaning she can talk to ghosts. Instead of spending summer vacation hanging out at the beach with her friends, she's working as a babysitter at a fancy hotel for some extra cash. Suze gets assigned to Jack, a lonely, boring, always-nervous eight year old. Jack NEVER wants to do anything but sit inside, and his older brother Paul is a total creep.

So, when Suze is off babysitting Jack, her stepfather (Andy) and stepbrother (Brad...aka Dopey) are digging a hole in the backyard to install a hot tub ~ but when Suze is woken up in the middle of the night by an angry ghost, warning her that if the digging doesn't stop there will be "hell to pay." Then, after the message from the ghost, Suze's best friend (and longtime crush, Jesse)disappears. Suze is sure that the ghost has something to do with it, and retaliates, but also brings Jack and Paul into the problem.

This book is the best in the series...each one gets better, but this is the best!! We *finally* find out what happened to Jesse!
I totally recommend this book!

Overall grade - A+

Summary: Best in the series
Review: Suze's summer vacation is ruined because she had to get a job as a babysitter at a pricey hotel. Suze's charge is eight year old Jack Slater, who was utterly boring until Suze discovered he is also a mediator. Things haven't remained quiet on the ghost front either. Maria de Silva, Jessie's fiance/murder, has returned from the dead to finish the job she started more than a century ago.

This is the fourth installment in The Mediator series and probably my favorite one as well. The plot followed the basic 'murderous ghost somehow tied to Suze's latest love interest' plot except this time the love interest was Jessie. Yay for the plot finally going somewhere. I also really liked Jack and thought it was cool that Suze got a tiny mediator to teach (or corrupt) This series is still really fun for a light read and I'm sure future books in the series will be just as good.

Summary: Awesome!!
Review: This book is awesome! I was a little disappointed because Jesse was only in the beginning and in the end, but the end made up for it!! This book(along with the rest of the series) is a must read! All the books in this series are exciting and humorous at the same time. I love Jenny Carroll's books and I have never met anyone who has read this book(and the series :-))
that didn't love it.

Summary: The Best Book Yet
Review: This is the best book in the Mediator series yet. It isn't anything that I expected, but it was still great. Suze is stuck working for the summer as a baby sitter at a resort where one of her charges is a Mediator himself, but doesn't know it. Then his brother just won't take a hint. Suze's step father and brother, Dopy, are diging a hole in the back yard for a hot tub and everything is going smoothly until a ghost wakes her up in the middle of the night and tells her that she's dead if Suze doesn't stop their digging. It was really worth the wait. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Summary: It was Jesse's darkest Hour...can u say cliff-hanger....
Review: This is the fourth book in the amazing "Mediator" series. I found the beginning of the book to be excellent but in the middle it got boring at parts but the ending made up for it. The ending of this book has a ton of action and excitment...you can't stop reading just to see how it ends...let me tell you one thing you better have the fifth one next to you when you finish this one....a great book in the series! Myfourth favorite! Great fun read!

Summary: Darkest Hour Shines
Review: What a great read! The fourth installment in the Mediator series will delight fans and newbie's alike.

Mediator Suze Simon and her gorgeous ghost roommate Jesse face the challenge of their lives when Jesse's past comes back to haunt him. A well-written story that involves Jesse's vengeful ex-fiancee and her husband, a young mediator in training, and a new enemy make this a book I just couldn't put down. The book is full of suspense, but, thanks to Jenny Carroll's trademark humor, it is fun as well.

I can't wait for more books in this series.

Summary: ONE OF THE SERIES BEST!
Review: What can I say about it? It has JESSE DE SILVA on of the sexiest man of fiction, but besides being hot he is also all gentlamanly and well... you girls now

As Summer job Suze is a babysitter at the Pebble Beach Hotel, her current burden a young and scared-cat boy named Jack Slater. Soon we found out why Jack is so afraid as another character comes forward Jack's older brother Paul.

Then, after ex-fiancé Maria De Silva Diego, showed up to threat Suze, Jesse is suddenly gone. This book might content the answers around the mistery of Hector De Silva demise.
