Summary: Oh, I liked This
Review: Okay so everyone else has already told you about the book, but the question on everybody's mind is, "Will there be a Mediator #5?" Well I have good news, there is! It's called "Haunted"! The bad news is that it would be out until January 2003!

Summary: Time for some Action
Review: Okay, so The Mediator series are great, based on the first three books. But this one surpasses all of them because it concerns something much more personal to Suze : Jesse a.k.a. cute ghost a.k.a Suze's crush! The story starts with Suze working as a babysitter (!) at a resort during the summer, and not enough with putting up with the ugly uniform, she was also picked by this visiting family from Seattle to look after their youngest kid, Jack, who doesn't go out or do outdoor stuff at all with unknown reasons. Turns out the kid is a mediator also, and the reason he's so scared is because he keeps seeing ghosts wherever he goes. But Suze managed to cure him of that -since she knows a lot about mediating- and no sooner than that, Jack is playing outside and swimming when his cute older brother Paul asks her out.
It would be great if not for the fact that she only has eyes for another guy (ehem) and that his stepfather and stepbrother's digging of their backyard - for a new hot tub - leads to them finding something that Suze doesn't ever want to see. Of course, before that, a pretty ghost from the past had to come and threaten her to stop the digging and who should she be but Jesse's former girlfriend, Maria! After the finding, though, Jesse disappears and Suze had a (painful) confrontation with Maria and her husband, leading her to ask Father Dominic to do something to get Jesse back. She tried to do it on her own without Father D's permission, but when he found out, he decided to help her anyway. So that leads to Suze being in a place she's never been before and the ultimate payback for the ghosts.
We got to know the real story behind Jesse's death but many questions will arise also, mostly about who Paul is, and what will happen to Suze and Jesse.
I like this book because it has more action and more emotional issues for Suze. It's really exciting and can be read on its own, but the best would be to read the first three books before this, you won't regret it.

Summary: THIS IS THE BEST ONE OUT OF ALL 4!!!!
Review: OMG! This was the best book! I couldn't put it down! I pretty much told myself I'd finish reading it later and when Jesse was no where to be found I couldn't but it down I was like NO Jesse can't be gone he has to come back! The Author did a great job! I hate the cliffhanger though cause I have to wait till January 2003 till the 5th one comes out and I want to know what' gonna happen bettween Jesse and Suze! ...

Summary: not a very good book
Review: personally i think this book wasnt very good first of all it toook too long and there wasnt much action or anything most of the book was just talking and talking and talking i thought this book was such a waste of time because all the narrator did was talk and getting nowhere to the point i think this iz 1 of the worst books i own. this is not a good book in my opinion.

Summary: (...)Jesse=HOT!!!!
Review: Suze gets ready for her summer babysitting the most boring kid on earth, and whose brother Paul seems to stop at NOTHING to get her to go out with him. Only when Suze realizes that Jack (the kid she's babysitting) is a Mediator, and is terrified of ghosts. While she tries to open him up to the fact that not all ghosts are evil, she has even more problems to deal with:

1. Andy and her stupid brother Dopey are digging around in the backyard and just HAPPENED to find the remains of some guy (hint, hint).

2. Maria de Silva and her Psychopathic husband Diego are ghosts and are trying to kill Suze.

Gee, great summer huh? Anyway, so Suze realizes that in helping Jesse avenge his death, then she might loose him, who is the most important thing in the world to her. So what will the outcome be?? Will Jesse and Suze be together in the end? Will Jesse be sent to Heaven, or the Afterlife, or wherever you go when you die and leave Suze with a broken heart?? As they always say, read and find out!

Awww(...)this is the BEST in the series!! As always, the delectable Jesse manages to keep you in love with him, you find out what a pathetic figure Maria de Silva was, and about how Jesse died. And Mediator fans will LOVE the ending. I have to say that i both loved and HATED it. I hated it because it is going to leave me practically CRAVING the next book. I wonder what Carroll has in mind for the Mediator #5.

Summary: The best of the series so far
Review: Suze has really gotten used to having Jesse around - but the appearance of his ex-fiance came as a real surprise. Things would not be so bad if Suze did not have to spend the summer working! Her job at the local hotel isn't too bad, but the uniform is a real pain...Things go from bad to worse when one of the guests turns out to be a mediator too. Suze now has to deal with Maria de Silva, an emerging mediator, and his slimy older brother. Oh well, Suze can look on the bright side - things can't get any worse can they?

I have to say that this has been the best book in the series to date. I really enjoyed this book because you FINALLY got to learn some serious information about Jesse - and because Suze finally found another Mediator (I won't spoil it by saying who). The realtionship that has been forming between Suze and Jesse gets really interesting in this book. The other interesting twist is that Suze meets someone with a very interesting twist on the whole idea of being a Mediator.

If you haven't found this series to be brilliant so far then try this book because I think that this book shows that Suze and the other characters are really getting interesting and starting to have some really interesting adventures.

Summary: Thrilling
Review: Suze is back, and with a bigger adventure than ever. She's now forced to work as a baby-sitter at a swanky hotel. Of course, the kid (Jack) she's baby-sitting is totally weird. It turns out he's a mediator too. Unfortunately, Jesse's (the ghost living in Suze's bedroom) ex-fiance is after Suze, because her step-father and step-brother are digging up secrets in her backyard.

Jesse's ex-fiance convinces Jack that if he exorcises Jesse it will make Suze happy. Of course this is a lie, because she is secretly in love with Jesse. Jack of course listens, and sends Jesse to the afterlife. Suze now has to find a way to bring back Jesse, and protect her friends and family, while at the same time ghostbusting some spirits who don't want to be at peace.

Summary: OMG! GREAT BOOK!
Review: Suze is looking forward to summer. She can't wait to lay on the beach and work on her tan. But that's not gonna happen because she is forced to get a job. So she becomes a babysitter at the Pebble Beach Hotel and Golf Resort. There she meets Jack Slater, an 8 year old mediator and his very HOT brother Paul. But that's not all. Suze is already depressed seeing as she is madly in love with Jesse. But to make matters worse Dopey and Andy dug up a box. In the box were letters to Jesse from Maria de Silva. That night Maria appears with a knife and a threat. She tells Suze to make Andy and Dopey stop digging. Suze of course doesn't listen and soon a body is dug up. Suze has a good feeling who it might belong to. Then all of a sudden Jesse disappears leaving Suze angry and heartbroken. Then everything starts to spin outta control.

OMG! This book was the BEST! I loved the ending and I wish that Mediator 5: Haunted was coming out sooner than January 2003. I think Jenny Carroll is trying to torture us. UGH!
