Rating: Summary: A Nice Ending On The Edge Review: After reading the whole series of the Everworld books, I consider this maybe the third best of them all. The first two, by far, were the best. But this one gives one heck of an ending - the ending will be totally up to you. After forming an alliance with dwarfs and fighting off Hel...April, Christopher, David, and Jailil realize Everworld has the possibility of falling back into the hands of the good forces. But K.A. Applegate leaves you hanging on the edge - you still wonder he first thing you wondered in the first book - will they ever get out? Just read it - it'll be worth it. :)
Rating: Summary: Captivating and Gripping Review: After reading this, I knew it was my favorite book. Yes, the ending was rushed, but still, the author was so descriptive, I was there. Literally, I was living in this alternate reality. I loved it. Unfortunately, I haven't read any of the previous ones, and I won't now because I know the ending. But this book definetely deserves an A.

Rating: Summary: The end of Everworld deserved better. Review: April and the gang thought that after Senna things would be easy, but everything just got worse. In Everworld, Ka Anor is still around and the only way April and the others can win is by going back to Hel. In the real world, they have to make a choice between staying in the real world or staying in Everworld. At first this would have been a no brainer for April and the guys, but now they each have something in Everworld that might make the decision harder. This book was definitely not the best in my opinion, I liked it enough but it should have been better. The ending didn't really feel right for Everworld. The book was good for a regular Everworld read but I expected more from it because it was the last one.
Rating: Summary: The Everworld Conclusion Review: As always, K.A. is up to her usual standard of vivid prose and beautifully descriptive word choice. This author is very unique in her style of plot development, and I truly admire her work. There are always intriguing questions and ideas about life and morality. However, Applegate does not often proclaim great epiphanies of what is important, of what is right and wrong- she inspires the readers to make their own decisions and come to their own conclusions. As children we're taught about the world; but we must learn to discover it for ourselves. Although Everworld's finale does not contain closure, and is not 'happily ever after', it made me think. I'm sure Applegate would invite us to dislike this book as much as we'd like, and vent our opinions and frustrations. But her books help the reader in growing as a person, which I'm sure is all she ever wanted to achieve. I'm not promising one of the greatest books of all time. What I am promising is a fitting end to a great series, with both sorrow and contentment, and hope. I recommend that all Everworld fans not miss out on this book. As for the issue of whether the series will be renewed- I've heard that it's a distinct possibility. If Scholastic thinks it will sell better some time in the future, the series will continue.
Rating: Summary: 2 stars for a good book, 3 off for a terrible ending! Review: First of all, this was a good book. The characters continue to mature, the storyline gets more intense, and everything SEEMS to be working towards a solid and satisfying conclusion. The problem? It wasn't the ending! After twelve books in which we see four normal, disfunctional kids gradually become cunning warriors and rise above their shallow, idiotic real world selves, everything seems to be going along fine at the beginning, and it's only in the last chapter or so we gradually become sinkingly aware that we are about to be cheated. There are also countless little plot threads that the author didn't bother to resolve, the biggest of all being, WHAT HAPPENED WITH KA ANOR??!! Am I just supposed to go on with life now, not knowing? Also, what's going to happen with Christopher and Etain? Will she still have to marry Baldwin or will Christopher snatch her away somehow? What about April and Jalil? Were they even a potential couple or was I just seeing things? All these questions will never be answered, which I find endlessly frustrating, now I almost wish I hadn't read the series. I certainly won't be reading any of the author's other ones, for fear of being let down the same way. Even so, if you can ignore all the loose ends left behind at the conclusion (though how that would be possible I won't even hazard a guese), the series truly is good, recommendable to all teenagers.
Rating: Summary: Mistitled Review: First off, I would like to say that, in and of itslef, this book is pretty good. It's not the best in the series, but it holds its own. Of course one cannot understand a thing unless you have read a few of the other everworld books, at least the previous two. However, towards the end, the book seems to be a bit rushed. There is a side plot that takes place in the 'real world' that could have been drawn out more. Also, with the end of this book, the sereis does not end. There are more plot lines left hanging then completed, and most people come away feeling jipped. I doubt this is because the author lost interest in the books, after all, her last series ended in the 50's or something like that. Most likely, she wasn't selling enough copies, and was forced to drop the series, hence, the unfinished status. If your an everworld fanatic, or you are willing to finish the story using your own imagination (like I did) i recomend this book. But if your looking for closure for the series, sorry, there's hardly any to be found.

Rating: Summary: LOVED IT! Review: For some reason, a lot of people don't like this book. I think that the reason is that it doesn't tell exactly what happens to everyone. We know from the ending that everyone stays in Everworld, and we're pretty sure that they win against Ka Anor. It's up to your imagination to decide what happens next. I think that the Dwarf King will die soon, leaving Christopher to marry the love of his life. David will continue his life as Athena's General and end up in the Elysian Fields when he dies. Jalil will make a fortune by bringing all sorts of technology to Everworld. I'm not sure about April.
Rating: Summary: This is the End? Review: I agree with Rebecca's review; this was very disappointing. Other than the interesting situation developing between the kids' Everworld and Earth selves, there isn't much to the book. I found it much weaker than the other books. Worse than that, about halfway through the book I began to realize, "Applegate can't wrap up this series with only half a book to go". If this were the penultimate book, it wouldn't be so bad; laying the groundwork for the final confrontation. But as a "finale", it leaves much to be desired. Especially since she could have wrapped up the general storyline, but still have left the ultimate fates of the kids open.
Rating: Summary: GONNA BE THE BEST Review: I believe Everworld 12: Entertain The End, will be the best one as David, April, Christopher, and Jalil final come to the horrible conclusion as they re-unite with their least favorite goddess...Hel. April is telling this story so it should be REALLY interesting for her because Hel hates her.
