Rating: Summary: A Fabbity Fab Fab Read! Review: Dancing in My Nuddy Pants is the fourth chapter in the hilarious series of a crazy English teen, Georgia Nicholson. From experimenting with her school's awful berets once again, taking a weekend trip to Paris, choosing between the loves of her life and becoming a "pop star widow" this book keeps you laughing until the very end. I suggest any and all readers of this book do not read it in public; this is a laugh out loud funny book! Though the trials and tribulations of Georgia and the ace gang are just fabbity fab fab, it is not a good a book as its predecessors.
Rating: Summary: You have to read them all! Georgia Nicolson's Series is awsome,if you like books that can relate to you read these books especially "Dancing In My Nuddy Pants"
Rating: Summary: whew Review: the third book in the series'Knocked out by my nunga nungas" was good, but a little lack luster compared to the first two, but it lacked in plot, and was too short. But I still wasn't too dissapointed, and prayed to God that there would be a new book coming out soon from the series.(I mean, I'm a devoted fan for life, these books got me speakin' British in L.A.!).But this book totally picked up where the first two left off.It still wasn't as good as the first two, but it still kicked butt. These books are my guiltiest pleasure and my total obssession.they tend to bring out the fun even on my dreariest days.
Rating: Summary: I Shared Her With My Friends And... Review: ...They were crazy about her! Almost everyone in our group had to read them, well all the ones I own, and still want more. We all can relate to her, exept for one of us who is so much like Jas (Georgia's exasperating best friend, she dosn't really understand the snogging scale or expressions like "..how your father..." very well) but dosent know it. I can't wait to tell them about the fourth book, they'll go crazy...
Rating: Summary: HILARIOUS AWESOME BOOK!!! Review: I've been waiting for this book forever, and finished it in one day. It is soooo funny!!!! Georgia is so sarcastic and a hilarious person. "What in the name of Buddha's bra is going on?" hahaha if you haven't read these books, read them NOW! you will not regret it, trust me.
Rating: Summary: A Major Let Down Review: While of course extremely amusing and full of hilarious situations, Rennison's fourth installment in the Georgia Nicolson series is old, overdone, and just plain boring. Sure, some points are funny, but the whole scenarios are exactly the same as they were in the other three books. Georgia obsesses over Robbie. Georgia antagonizes over her lingering feelings for Dave the Laugh. Yawn, yawn, yawn. Jas seems like a total Girl Scout (no offense to Girl Scouts or anything), and the rest of Georgia's friends are just lame. Like, please. Who actually does a disco dance and finds it FUNNY?!?!I have been looking forward to this one forever, but it's lost the charm. Ah, well, perhaps I've outgrown Georgia Nicolson and Mia Thermopolis...so sad. Not. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to reread Bridget Jones's Diary and find some REAL humor.
Rating: Summary: CAN U BELIEVE IT? EVEN MORE GEORGIA! Read On... Review: Yet again another book as finally come out. I have been waiting for this book forever! I read the other 3 books in less than a month. They relate so much to me. I just can't put the book down. My friend one day told all of us to pass these books around and whithin weeks we were all going crazy about her crazy, angus, boys, and other stories! We love them. I also encourage the author to keep on writting because the Americans are LOVING IT!*
Rating: Summary: Excellent wrap-up to an excellent series Review: Georgia Nicholson is at it again. Picking up where "Knocked Out By My Nunga-Nungas" left off, "Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants" finishes the "Confessions of Georgia Nicolson" series in style. As if dealing with "Furry Baby Jesuses", a brief stint as hockey captain, backstage antics, a last showdown with the Bummer Twins, and a really eventful trip to Paris weren't enough, Georgia must sort out her feelings for Dave the Laugh and Robbie the Sex God before one of them does something rash...like move to New Zealand! As ever, Rennison treats her heroine's escapades with wit and candor, and strange phrases not even British people knew...until they started reading the books. And saddening though it is that this is the end of the series, Rennison has given Georgia a right and proper conclusion.
Rating: Summary: confessions Review: I really liked this book. I would recomend this book to teenagers becuase it is mostly about dating guys and girls I think that this book is really cool becuase there is this dictionary in the back that has all these made up words in it and all through the story are all those made up words, and i think that it is cool becuase some of the words are really weird like porkies and spondulicks. The main person in the story is named georgia and she is in love with this guy " The sex god " which has something to do with another book like this one "On the bright side im now the girlfriend of a sex god" Georgia gets really confused in the book becuase of her friends going out with each other and then not. I also think that this is a really cool book becuase its like a big diary and it has mostly times instead of dates in it and i always liked books like that. So thats what i think of the book and who i recomend it to!
Rating: Summary: Confessions Review: Louise Rennison is the author and voice of Georgia Nicolson in "Dancing in My Nuddy-Pants". Lousie has written a total of four books of Georgia Nicoloson's life through her diaries which include, "Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging", "I'm now The Girlfriend of a Sex God", "Knocked out By My Nunga-Nungas", and "Dancing in My Nuddy-Pants". Being a British Native herself, her characters also live in England which you would have noticed by the language itself. When writing her books, Louise gets a lot of her ideas for her books from her own childhood and has even said that she uses the same names. The author has a way with describing the events that happen to Georgia that allow you to get a clear view of everything that is going on. The reactions that Georgia and her friends give and say are well suited for their ages.
The main character Georgia is your average thirteen year old girl growing up in England. She has a little sister, Libby, who gets on her nerves along with her "Muti" and "Vati" who think they're teenagers themselves. Georgia is also head over heels with her boyfriend Robbie, "the sex god" whom she has gone the highest with on the snogging scale (kissing). Her best friend Jas doesn't approve of Georgia's lover and never lets her forget it.
In this book Georgia is back and so is the "ace gang" in a hilarious first semester of school. The gang is back to normal when they start getting in trouble in morning assebly because they have their berets on backwards. Georgia is unsure if she is completely over her ex boyfriend Dave the Laugh after accidentally snogging him at a party. She then realizes that being a pop star girlfriend of a sex god is way better. After Georgia finds out Robbie and his band, The Stiff Dylans, are going to America, she wants to go to. Only the bands plans change and they have to go to New Zealand for a month which causes Georgia and Robbie's relationship to be put on hold.
Since Louise Rennison uses a lot of her own experiences and childhood for her books, there will be more Georgia Nicolson and more snogging!
