Rating: Summary: Another "Fabbity Fab" Book by Lousie Rennison Review: "Dancing in my Nuddypants", by Lousie Rennison is the latest installment of a series of diaries written through the mind of a hilariously conceited and lovable 14 year old girl. Georgia is a typical, self-centered teen who is all about having fun with her friends and making sure school doesn't ever become too dull. You'll laugh out loud at her dating blunders and her general 'confusiosity' about life! Whether Georgia is in the nuddypants or not, her adventures will always make for a good read. This book will definitely cheer you up!
Rating: Summary: no nuddy Review: Rennison doesn't put much thought in this book. The other three books in this series are comical and are very interesting. This one gives little smiles, and make a good ending.
Rating: Summary: She never fails! Great book Review: Louise Rennison never fails to churn out a outstandly, hysterical and so true book! As a teenage i relate to some things Georgia goes through! This is my most favorite series of books! They are so funny that sometimes while reading in class i find myself blurting out laughing! I love these books! If you liek the overs you will love this one!!
Rating: Summary: Long live Georgia Nicolson! Review: I just finished this book minutes ago, and I absolutely loved it! I am absolutely thrilled that Rennison didn't lose her touch with this one. I think that girls and women of all ages should read this book. The geniosity and hilariosity of the series has got me hooked! I can't wait to see what Georgia gets into next!
Rating: Summary: This book is double cool w/ knobs and fabbity fab fab! Review: I love this book! I love all four of them! I wish their were more! I didnt think they would be very good because she is british, but that just makes it funnier when they make up their own words! She is hilarious and the way the book describes the sex god makes me want to move to england. I especially loved reading about her general horn and her red bottom. If you are in between the age of 13 to 17 i reccomend this book. If you are older, you would probably think that it is jut immature. But i could read them over and over again!
Rating: Summary: Naked Nuddy Review: If this is the final installment of Georgia's & her mates fab. adventures I wish they could have gone out with more of a bang. Seventeen once said about the first novel "You might want to reframe from reading this in public- or something along those lines" and all fans and critics could certainly agree. 'Nuddy Pants' isn't as hilarious as the other three novels before it, which is a pity. It's full of brief chuckles and worth a brilliant smile or two but it isn't going to make you into a loon until the book is almost over. It like the SG and winter holdiay drained the life of poor Georgia. Things to get brighter for us fans. Its when the books nearing it's finally days that it reaches the same richness of the others. 'Nuddy' is defiantly worth reading for the fans, but it not as cozy as 'Angus'.
Rating: Summary: Dancing in My Nuddy Review: Great beginning but odd ending; we never know what happens with her and Dave the Laugh. I think the 1st book was the best out of the 4
Rating: Summary: Not As Good As The First Review: Although better than "Knocked Out By My Nunga Nungas", this doesn't even come close to being as funny and fresh as "Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging" the premier edition of Georgia's angst ridden diaries. There was lots of Libby - my favourite character, and the one who keeps the entire book from reverting to Georgia adding "osity" to the end of every second word and whining about Dave the Laugh, her vati, Jas, Slim or some other petty aspect of her life. That's the way the books are, and it was funny the first time around, but it's starting to get old. The author should considering thinking of some major plot events that could happen in the next book and some truly original humour before publishing the next book. I will probably still read the next installment, for a few cheap laughs and because I'm a sucker and want to find out what happens next, but my advice would be to wait until this comes out on paperback.
Rating: Summary: hilariosity Review: My friend and I were so excited about this book, we ordered it from amazon.co.uk because we couldn't wait. But if we had waited, it would have definitly been worth the wait. This is definitly my favourite book in the series. Practically every page had me cracking up, whether it be from Georgia's red-bottomosity or her mother's infatuation with the George Clooney look-alike doctor. I can totally relate to this book, because it is exactly like my life, where I am Georgia, and my best friend is Jas. I swear, the book must have been written about us. This book is a lot of laughs, and I recommend it to any teenage, and even a bit younger, girl.
Rating: Summary: still funny, but a bit tiresome now Review: Maybe it's the improper suffix "osity" for everything (geniosity, hilariosity, sophisticosity) but I didn't like Georgia that much this time around. She seemed like a bully to the ace gang (her friends) always telling them to shut up and "duffing" them up (female equivalent of beating them up.) And she didn't know if she wanted the Sex God (Robbie, not that she's ever had sex) or Dave the Laugh, who is dating her friend Ellen. She was rather unlikable this time around. Still, the diary entries are funny. She writes when she catches her dad trying to do a push-up "I hope he is insured." And when they take a class trip to France and she accidentally pulls off the French flag on the ferry across the Englsih Channel. It's amusing, but I am glad I never knew anyone like her in real life. I think she would have gotten all the duffing up done to her in the real world.
