Rating: Summary: Not Hilarious so Much as Irritatingly Funny Review: With every other word containing "osity" and every other other word said with a selfish whine, this book was still fresh, but not as fresh as any other I had read. I sorta read it just to get it over with. It's good to read if you're a hardcore fan, or just looking for a quick laugh, but this novel really isn't worth anyone's time. It would have been better, not with a plot or depth, but with more juice and comedy, and less osity.
Rating: Summary: Laffin in my nuddy-pants Review: ... i have read all of the georgia nicholson books and i must say i laff out loud in the middle of social studies when we're learning about the revolutionary war cuz im thinking about Georgia, Slim, Jas, or Libby. My best friend and I share the books (i bought the last 2) and we're on the phone for hours laffing about how Georgia's grandpa dropped his teeth down some ladys bra or something! I swear... if another book dowsn;t come out soon, I will write angry letters to Louise Rennison! Parents... don't hesitate... buy this for your daughter now... i guarentee she will have the best fun reading than she ever will!
Rating: Summary: Hahahahahaha.....................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll plead that you have a headache. But in the end you know you'll have to read this book. It's halariously funny and just like the previous three. Geogia Nicolson's diary is one you won't want to pass. If you want to laugh, read this. Most people who start, don't put the book down until their finished and you'll stay up all night reading. Teen girls will devour this whole. (I don't recommend reading this in public unless you don't mind being stared at on the way to work.;-)
Rating: Summary: VERY FUNNY!! Review: Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants is just like the rest of tbe confessions of Georgia Nicolson......GREAT!! I read all of the books in this series and this would have to be my favorite. it is funny, just like the other books, and it is highly entertaining. i didnt want to put this book down!!! If you want a good laugh, buy this, or another, book by Louise Rennison.
Rating: Summary: Fun Teen Fiction Review: Georgia has finally chosen Robbie the Sex God over Dave the Laugh, since, of course, Dave the Laugh is now dating Georgia's best friend Ellen. But suddnely the Sex God is never around, he's just too busy with band practice. Then Dave the Laugh breaks up with Ellen, and suddenly Georgia begins to become confused. Does she really want to be Dave the Laugh's girlfriend? Does she still love the Sex God? Georgia has no idea what to do, and it's making her crazy.Rennison has created another great novel about Georgia's life. Georgia feels and experiences things that all teenage girls experience and feel at some time in their lives. A great novel for teenage girls the world over. Erika Sorocco
Rating: Summary: The saga continues... Review: I must say for a continuing series, Louise Rennison's books are very good. By the fourth book or so usually a series becomes dull and tiresome but these books don't. They are all equally funny and even if you are a stick-in-the-mud, you are sure to laugh ATLEAST once. I read somewhere in these reviews that a person said they hope for Georgia's character to grow. Well, let me ask you something... if she did, then would the books still be the same? Probably not. Georgia and her 'mates' remind me of a British version of valley girls. lol. Will Robbie be a different person when he gets back from Kiwi-a-gogo-land? Will Georgia and Dave the Laugh get together instead? Arghh, I suppose I will have to wait for 'Laughing Away on a Fast Camel'.
Rating: Summary: hilarious Review: this book is full of fun and perfect for anyone 7th-10th grade. i practically cried through this whole book because it was so hilarious. if you're not looking for a challenging read, then this is for you. it's an easy-read but is still extremely enjoyable.
Rating: Summary: Keeps Getting Better Review: As an avid reader of the "Angus, Thongs" series, I feel that it gets better with each installment. As characters develop and things begin to change, so do the trials and tribulations of Georgia. She is definitely the epitomy of a typical teenager and I really enjoy being a spectator of her fictitious life. I also can relate to her very well. I have parents who are two of the most annoying people alive (for now, anyway), and siblings who never leave me alone. Although she complains a lot, it's actually quite fun to read about, since I probably do the same thing. I have read each book in this series at least 10 times and I never get bored. One thing that I don not advise: reading this out of the privacy of your own bedroom. At school I am known to burst into laughter at very random moments while reading this. Please, please, please read this book, and I absolutlely do not know how I am going to survive until March, when the next intallment, I'm Away Laughing on a Fast Camel, will be released. Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: This book is filled with hilariosity! Review: I was so anxious for this sequel to come out, and it certainly went way past my expectations! It is hilarious- one of the few books i have actually found myself laughing outloud to (much to the confusion of people sitting near me on the train). Louise Rennison has come out with another masterpiece. Her characterization and use of language are refreshing and funny! I passed this book around to my friends and they absolutely loved it. lets hope there's another one!!!
Rating: Summary: As good as it gets Review: This book was hilarious! I held off on buying because of all the bad things people were saying about it on the internet, but I bought it after reading some of it in the bookstore. This book is as good-if not better- than Angus, Thongs, &FFS. I wonder what 'fanny' means in England... A fabbity-fab-fabosity book.
