Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I loved it! Review: Susie Simon has an interesting life. She is just beginning the junior year of high school, has a fascinating job, a broody boyfriend, and has caught the eye of the handsome new boy in town. There are just a few glitches. The "job" is as a mediator, someone who helps departed souls find their place. Her boyfriend, Jesse, is a ghost, and the new guy almost got both of them trapped in another universe over the summer. Not only that, but he is currently running for her job as student vice president, and there is a newly displaced ghost lurking around in need of her help. This ghost might also have deadly plans for a living person, and Susie is finding that she needs none other than her nemesis, Paul's, help in making sure everything works out all right. To further her problems, she is attracted to Paul, and feels disloyal to Jessie as a result.***** Teen age life can be nasty business, and Ms. Cabot is wonderful at expressing this in a humorous, yet touching way. The romantic triangle forming here is fascinating, if less erotic, than two other triangles that have captivated older readers, the Stephanie - Ranger - Joe or Anita - Jean Claude - Richard, ones. Mothers can enjoy this book almost as much as their teen and slightly preteen daughters, and are encouraged to do so. Although I might have enjoyed it more had I read the other books in the series, I had no trouble picking up on the action. ***** Reviewed by Amanda Killgore.

Review: I am a big fan of Meg Cabot and hadn't known that she was writing under the name "Jenny Carroll" so i haven't read the other Mediator books. I had read a bit of this book in one of my magizines so i was sweating untill January 21st so i could read more. I understood the book and all but i still would like to read the other 3 Mediator books. My personal opinon about this book, CeeCee and Adam are really annoying! If i was Susannah, i would have smacked both of them at least 5 times before the book was over! I too read this book in less than a day.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Haunted Review: Susannah Simon is a mediator, someone who helps ghosts reach their afterlife. this book is the continuation of "Darkest Hour". Paul Slater, a mediator that met Suze at a place where she was baby-sitting is back. He enrolls into Suze's school and wants to teach Suze about being a mediator and what she can do. Suze hates Paul and refuses, but Paul doesn't give up. Eventually, Suze agrees to go over to Paul's place. Suze runs away from Paul after *something* happens. Jake, Suze's oldest stepbrother has a friend named Neil. Neil's brother Craig died and wants revenge on his brother, and it's up to Suze to handle the ghost.Jesse, a ghost that lives in Suze's bedroom has been leaving more often after their kiss. Suze thinks Jesse doesn't feel the same way about her because he decides to leave. Dopey, Suze's stepbrother throws a party where Paul and Jesse see each other again, and they fight. During their fight, CeeCee, Suze's friend becomes suspicious of Jesse, and comes to the conclusion that Jesse is a ghost. Suze goes into a different place, by thinking of it in her mind. She sees Paul. He tells her to learn more from him. Suze agrees but only if Paul stays away from Jesse. Paul says he will. Suze goes back into the real world and later sees Jesse. The ending of this book was the best!!! There has to be another Mediator book!!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (good) Review: First of all, I would like to say that Meg Cabot ROX. That being said, I have to add that this is an extremely good book, and I read it in 45 minutes. We get to discover all sorts of things: Is Paul REALLY the spawn of Satan? Has the whole Paul thing REALLY made Susannah lose the mediator touch? Did a certain event with Jesse in the last book make their relantionship 'better'? I am certainly not going to ruin the surprise. But I will give two hints about the book just to torment readers. -Susannah is not just a mediator. She is much more. -Two words : 'Stalker', and 'Harrassment'. Of course, now you want to read it, right? Well if you don't, I have created an extremely powerful mind-control drug that causes you to fall in love with the mediator series. Please e-mail me and I will administer it cyberactively
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: ***the best one yet*** Review: Haunted: A Tale of the Mediator is the best one of the series yet. I couldn't put it down! The plot makes you keep reading until the very last page and leaves you wishing for more.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: a good book Review: I recently bought this book after reading the other books in the Mediator series, this time, it is a harcover book. If anyone remembers the last book and what happened between Suze and Paul Slater, well, Paul is back, he now attends the same school as Suze and he wants to teach her more about being a mediator. Suze is still in love with Jesse and she still thinks he doesn't feel the same way. All in all, a good book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Amazing! Review: Suze Simon will tell you something right now. She's definitely haunted. But this time, it's not by someone who's dead. The opposite in fact. It's by someone, Paul to be exact, who is completely undead, but has the same connection as Suze does with the dead. Because, you see, he too is a mediator. The only problem is, is that Paul wants Suze the same way that Suze wants Jesse (the nineteenth-century ghost living in her bedroom), and he's willing to do anything to get rid of Jesse, including banishing him to the Great Beyond. Meg Cabot has done another amazing job bringing back Suze Simon (one of my favorite characters in literature), and making her as quirky as ever. Readers will relish in the newest adventures, and trouble, that Suze gets herself into, and be left begging for more. This is truly a must-read. ...
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Haunted in deed! Review: Great book, really one of the best in the series!!!! Suze is trying to live a normal life, well as normal as it can be being a Mediator and being in love with your romate: the ghost of an XIX century hottie, also known as JESSE. Suze thought everything would be fine after that kiss, but then suddenly Jesse stops calling her Querida and avoids her at all cost. Enter Paul, whom you might remember from Darkest Hour. Yeah, problems follow that guy, mostly because he is the one who cause them. Paul has his eye on Suze and will go any lenghts to get her. Confused hearts, Romance, and some buttkicking! What more can you ask for?
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Very Great Review: This book was very great. It was about a girl named Susannah Simon and she is a Mediator. She can communicate with the dead and she helps them find their way to hell or heaven. But it gets in the way of her attempt of a normal teenager. At least she has Jesse, the ghost of the 19th centuary haunting her bedroom. But there is a guy who has the same gift of gab with the undead she has. He's after her and he knows how to send Jesse to the Great Beyond.
Opinion: You should buy this book, it's very good. I got mines from Borders and it was the cheap price of $6.99 (paperback) This book has its bad times and its good times.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: 5 Stars...Amazing! Review: I just finished reading this book for the second time and still loved it. Every part of the book holds things you wouldn't expect. I reccomend reading the first books in the series (#'s 1-4) because this book, Suze keeps thinking about how Paul had tried to killer her once before. She says very little about this im this book. It explains how and why he did in book 4.

The suspense in this book is incredible, and the ending was adorable. I deffinatly reccomend this book, and give it 5 stars!
