Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: A disappointing entry in the Mediator series Review: I was looking forward to this book, but couldn't have been more disappointed. *Nothing* happened in the first 100 pages, there was little to no mediator action, and the only character we learned more about was the disturbing Paul Slater. There were a few hints of potential plot to come involving Suze and Paul's powers, but that angle wasn't nearly explored enough. Verdict: wait for the paperback, or skip this one.

Then, one of my friends practically stuck my nose in the book. Of course, once I got started, I couldn't stop. It was a great book, I was hooked on it. I finished it in a day...maybe cuz my friend wanted the book back, but nevermind. This book is great sci-fi or fantasy. And I love Jesse...and sadly, yes, Paul. The whole bad boy thing gets to me....lol
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Haunted:A Tale of the Mediator Review: The book Haunted: A Tale of the Mediator, by Meg Cabot, was an entertaining novel about a young girl with the gift of communicating with the dead. The book captured my interest with its intriguing plot, suspense, romance, comedy, and real life situations. I didn't want to put it down. Told from a sixteen-year-old girl's point of view the book brings to life problems, such as, a blended family, homework, jealousy, friendship, flirting, and uncertain romance to the pages. Suze, the protagonist, begins her junior year with great hope until her mortal enemy, another mediator, enrolls in her school. Paul Slater, the good-looking new guy has been the source of all Suze's nightmares in recent weeks. In the past he tried to kill her and her boyfriend Jesse, the ghost of a gorgeous young man murdered in 1850. Suze must deal with Paul and his evil tricks, his flirting, and his promise that he has found written instructions dealing with their gift. Also, she must take care of her stepbrother's friend Neil and his newly deceased and angry brother Craig. All the while trying to figure out her blossoming feelings for Jesse. This book is a great read for those who like adventure, suspense, and romance. I have not read any other Mediator books in this series, but I have recently checked them out of the library to go back and pick-up past history and information. Even though I was not aware of characters, or events from past books, I still understood and thoroughly enjoyed Haunted. My one complaint would be the weak storyline of Neil and Craig. These characters seem to be an after thought throughout most of the book. They disappear completely from the middle of the novel to show back up at the end so their problems can be solved. However, the rest of the storylines are strong and entertaining. The novel ends in a happily ever after format, but still leaves the reader wanting more and ready for book six.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: BEST SERIES EVER!! Review: This was by far the best series that I have ever read! I loved them all, and I think that everyone would...it has everything that you would like in a series- comedy, supernatural, suspense, romance... you must read this series. The first 4 mediator books are under the name Jenny Carroll.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wow Review: I absolutely loved this. I have read the rest of the mediator series (under the name Jenny Carroll), and it just keeps getting better. The subplot of Haunted (a dead boy who envies his living brother) is a bit weak, but the rest more than makes up for it. Paul Slater becomes even more creepy than in Darkest Hour and Jesse..ah, Jesse. Love it! I can't wait for more.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great Book! Review: This was a great book! The story just pulls you in, and you can't put the book down. Especially what happens between Jesse, Suze, and Paul. After reading the book, I can't wait for the sixth book to come out.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Haunted Review: I thought this book was very disappointing. First of all if anyone has read the other books in ther series would know how annoying the thing with Jesse is. Really it's getting kind of old. I thought that Suze would finally come to her senses and pick Paul but she didn't so I was very disappointed. But it was still a little entertaining. I still have hope that she will get together with Paul in the end. And that Jesse will finally move on with his life well death I guess.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The Greatest Review: I'm not sure what I expected from this book but it gave me all that and more.I read this book in a day, that's how good it was. This book explains alot more about Jesse's and Susannah's relationship. It hints at the end what's coming in the future and it's gives you a few new characters.
