Summary: Very Interesting...from and outside View
Review: Having read almost all of Meg Cabot's books, I was genuinely interested in Haunted: A Tale of the Mediator, The problem though, is that I was not aware of the other books Prelude to this one. So I just jumped in I guess in the middle of a big plot. While the book was thoroughly interesting and keep my attention, I do not recommend this book to those who have not read the others. I do recommend All American Girl and Princess Diaries (the full set). Meg Cabot is a truly great writer, but this book I felt lacked a lot of her more creative plots.

Summary: so what if I am 19 years old
Review: Okay, so almost all the reviews and such say the age range for this book is grades 7-10. Well, let me tell you... I am a college sophomore and I loved it. Granted it only takes me about two hours to read, the story is great. I am an avid read of all of Meg Cabot/Jenny Carroll's books. I own All-American Girl, the entire Princess Diaries series, the entire Mediator series, and if I wasn't a broke college student, I would own all of the 1-800-Where-R-You series. I thouroughly enjoy the conversational tone the books are written in. The little bit of action and little bit of romance blends nicely together to create the perfect plot.

Summary: Awesome
Review: I've waited for a long time for this book, and I'm happy to say that it doesn't disappoint! Suze has spent her summer having nightmares about her venture to the shadow world and the fact that she almost lost her life. When school starts, she looked forward to starting junior year but all was spoiled when who should turn up but the object of her nightmares : the mysterious Paul. Not only that one of her stepbrothers thought she was dating a guy named Jesse (!) and word started to spread about Suze's so-called boyfriend! In the meantime, there's a ghost who is haunting his brother because the ghost thought he didn't deserve to die, Jesse is not saying much to Suze -much to her dismay- and Paul started making his moves on her! It's only a matter of time before Suze chooses and in the end we get to see who her heart really belongs to.
We get to learn more about Susannah's gift (with the prospect of more being revealed in future books), why Jesse has been acting cold towards her and even a hint of who Paul really is. Needless to say, you have to read the first four The Mediator books before reading this one because there are a lot of reference to past incidents in Suze's life. I thought the climax was great, and the ending was awesome!!! I really can't wait for the next one and I would recommend fans of teen books to read this series, it's GOOD.

Summary: Suze Thought The Nightmare Was Over...
Review: Suze had just had an exhausting summer vacation and was happy to be going back to school where things were normal. Unfortunately for Suze, her life was just going to get weirder. For one thing, the guy who haunted her nightmares because he just tried to kill her, the gorgeous but evil Paul Slater, is now going to her high school. For another, Jesse, the love of her life who just happens to be a 150-year old ghost haunting her room, has been avoiding her since that great kiss they had shared a few weeks ago. Then there was Sleepy's new college friend, who just happened to have his dead brother tagging along behind him insisting that he deserved to live and his brother should be the one who was dead. Of course, Suze still had to worry about student elections, her social life and how those new shoes she bought were just killing her! Looks like it is going to be another busy year in the life of Suze Simon, Mediator.

I enjoyed this book, but I think that it is the weakest of the Mediator series. For one thing, Suze spends a lot more time being a girl and being scared than in the other books. For another, it just wasn't as funny and the author dropped the Sleepy, Dopey & Doc nicknames for her stepbrothers - hello, who the heck are Jake, Brad and David? Anyway, I would have to say that this, the fifth book in the series, was a bit of a letdown, but it was still a great book. Even when Cabot/Carroll isn't at the top of her game, she is still a great author! Well worth your time to read, but I highly recommend the other books in this series, as well as the ...Lightning Girl, etc.).

Summary: Awesome book
Review: i think this book rocks! The ending was very sweet too. I just hope that Paul's not right bout him and Suze ending up as an item since they're, as he stated, meant to be, it'll totally ruin the story. I hope Miss Meg can publish the 6th book by next year!!

Go Meg Cabot! =)

Summary: UNFAIR STOP IT NOW MEG!!!!!
Review: I can't believe that Suze is like feeling things toward Paul. If you ever read this Meg, you have to stop it now! I will literally cry if Suze ends up with Paul and not Jesse! You will disappoint a ton of readers so just STOP IT NOW!!!!! I would have give this book 5 stars but with Suze feeling things toward Paul, I just can't. I know in the end Jesse loves her but what if Paul was right that he and Suze are meant for each other. I would die! Just lay down and die!!!!!!! PLEASE don't make this like in All American Girl where she doesn't love the guy she thinks she does. It worked good for that story but for this it would just be horrible! :,(

Summary: Highly entertaining entry of the Mediator
Review: Susannah Simon, a sixteen-year-old mediator, is haunted by not a ghost, but another mediator named Paul Slater. She is love with Jesse, a ghost who lives in her home, but Paul knows how to send him to where it is that all souls go to when they die and keep him there, never to return to the living world. Suze tries to stay on fairly good terms with Paul so that he will leave Jesse alone, and in doing so, she discovers more about this mysterious fellow mediator. Unfortunately, although she loves Jesse, she is unsure whether or not he returns the feeling. Is it so that she may be wasting her time and effort? Should she give Paul a chance, as no other normal boy seems to like her as a girlfriend?

The Mediator series, previously written under Meg Cabot's pseudonym Jenny Carroll, is very suspenseful and entertaining. Haunted is no exception. While I am older and usually read historical fiction, I find that Meg Cabot's stories and writing style could suit any age. If you, like myself, enjoyed the Princess Diaries, you will no doubt like this series which also features a very sassy heroine.

Summary: The perfect edition to the already great Mediator series!
Review: I love the Mediator books because Suze is such a great character, and the books always make me laugh out loud. Not to mention the fact that I love Jesse just as much as Suze does, but thats another story. This book is jam packed with romance, mystery, and action. Read this and you wont regret it!
