Summary: Uhl Belk Rocks!
Review: This is the 2nd book in the "Heritage" series, and it follows Walker Boh, Morgan Leah, and Quickening in their journey to recover the black elfstone and restore Paranor to the Four Lands. Quickening is sent by the king of the Silver River. She is an elemental with wonderous powers. During her journey, she encounters Pe Ell; an assassin sent by Rimmer Dal to kill her. They break Morgan Leah out of prison, join with Walker Boh, and journey to Eldwist in search of the black elfstone. Eldwist is the home of Uhl Belk, the stone king, who is in possession of the elfstone. There are other creatures, such as the Rake, which patrol Eldwist. Morgan becomes very close to Quickening and falls in love with her. This is perhaps the best book in the "Heritage" series. Brooks fans will enjoy this one.

Summary: Terry Brooks hits it again
Review: Terry Brooks has made another great Shannara book. This book was fantastic in it's continuation of the Heritage series. The details of Walker Boh's coping with the loss of his arm and magic and the inner turmoil of Morgan Leah after the loss of his sword is supurb. The indepth scenes and character profiles lend to another hit for Brooks.

Summary: The Elf Queen Of Shannara
Review: This book was AWESOME ! The book kept you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Wren was amazing in this book. You really got to see what she went through and how she overcame all the trials. Her discovery of the elfstones and her trip to Morrowindl and all the death and evil she faced there really shaped the person Wren was.

Summary: This Book Rocks!
Review: This simply one of the best books I have ever read. The story is enchanting, and the charaters flow and mesh together like a song. Walker is put under a magnifying glass in this book, and we see more of the real him. I think that this is one of the best in the series, and I reccomend this book ONLY if you have read the Scions of Shannara. If you have, read it today!

Summary: A Definate 5 Star
Review: This is such a great book, Terry Brooks always knows how to make some one stick to a book for hours, like all Shannara books, I just can't get away from them. I just love them so much, and I am really upset that I have finished the series, but I even more glad that I was able to read such awesome pieces of work by Terry Brooks.

Review: Great book with nothing but adventure and the characters are wonderful and show a lot of braun. TWO THUMBS UP.

Summary: A real fantasy novel
Review: This book is extremely good. I think it is the most beutifully written book in the Shannara series, The first two chapters are perfect, I have read those chapters over and over again. I think what probably makes this book excellent is the fact that the plot is not only comprised of we have to kill a big bad guy and save the world, but it also had the emotional aspect of the characters to make the plot even more interesting(if that is possible). Pe ell has been sent to kill this elemental, but for some reason, he can't bring himself to do it, this leads him to be increasingly argumentative with the rest of the travellers. Walker boh cannot take possession of the Black Elfstone unless he can accept what is to happen to him ( I won't give the story away). Morgan Leah has fallen in love with an elemental, which is obviously going to lead to big emotional problems. The last part of the book was one of the most powerful things I've ever read. It is amazing how Uhl Belk is not simply a mindless bad guy, but has feeling just as the good guys do. In the end, he doesn't try to kill them, he tells them to flee, and we even see Evidence of both Walker boh and Quickening feeling bad about how they have destroyed Uhl Belk's familiar way of life. For those of you who like the less mindless, typical get the artifact and use it to kill the bad guy story( usually without character developpment or a good) then I recommedn this book. This book is not mindless, it is not boring, if you enjoy emotional battles as well as physical ones. This book is excellent, and it is one of the best that I have ever read. I think that it can easily compare to 'Of Mice and Men' and 'To Kill a Mickingbird'.

Summary: Pe Ell rules!!!
Review: I love this book, I think it's the best one of the Heritage of Shannara. I love the way Mr. Brooks describe the feeling Pe Ell had for Quickening, cool!!!! The best book ever! It's mesmerizing and you won't be able to put it down! Good job Mr. Brooks!!!

Summary: WOW!
Review: This is definitely my favorite Shannara book -- it's darker than some of the others, and the characters are far more original than the generic "elf, dwarf, warrior, reluctant hero" etc. types in Mr. Brooks' earliest novels. For some reason, I always love the weirdest characters: Pe Ell was my favorite this time around!!
