Rating: Summary: I enjoyed the book as much in 1998 as I did in 1979. Review: The first time I read Forever, I was an eighth grader at a parochial school. Once my friends found out that my mother bought me the book, I had a waiting list of classmates who wanted to read it. But they were all behind my teacher. She read it right after me. Everyone was shocked about that.Shortly after that, my school started a basic sex-ed program. I will definitely let my son read it in a few years. All of Judy Blume's books have lived through years of teens and censorship. What more needs to be said?

Rating: Summary: It's a fantastic book that tells about a teen's first time. Review: This book is so fantastic. It talks about a girls first time having sex and the times that follow and how love is a precious thing. It's very explicit and detailed, but it was great!
Rating: Summary: Forever endures! Review: My elementary school was Catholic, and my parents were private. We girls passed the book Forever around like a religious poem in Communist Russia. It was our secret source of knowledge: Judy Blume was one of the few people we could count on to tell us something about how sex and relationships might happen. This book was essential to my upbringing.
Rating: Summary: Forever?? Great!!! Review: I read this book last year and have read it numerous times after that, each time still fascinated by the perfect descriptions and exceptional imaging. Katherine is a perfect example of an American girl who isn't quite sure if she doesn't want to go all the way. I would recommend this book to anyone who is old enough to understand and appreciate it.

Rating: Summary: Grabs the attention of the " non-reader" teens. Review: I was elated to think I finally found a book that my step-daughter read from cover to cover. I read it the next night and thought what a wonderfully written book for teenagers. They need more of them! Maybe then we could get them in the habit of reading instead of watching TV. Thanks Judy
Rating: Summary: Memorable Review: This book was my first experience with censorship. I read all of Judy Blume's books as a young girl. I first read "Forever" when I was about 12. Of course I found it fascinating and showed it to all my friends. However, when I decided to read it again I found it yanked from the public library shelves. This wonderful book deserves to be read; it treats sex honestly and truthfully. It teaches young people to be responsible about their relationships, but also tells them that sex is not "wrong."
Rating: Summary: A UNFORGETABLE EXPERIENCE Review: I read this book when I was 15 years old and now 17 years later I am still recommending it to young ladies I know. It is such a beautiful and real story of a young lady dealing with her first love and first sexual experience. This book is a very easily read book and it's very very truthful, Judy did such a great job on it as I was reading I honestly felt as if I were experienceing the things the young lady in the story was experiencing; everything from her first kiss to her hymen being broken by her first sexual experience. I would recommend this book to anyone who has forgotten what your first love was like and how beautiful love can be. It is EXCELLENT.
Rating: Summary: Forever? Review: This book tells the truth of what is really happening in highschool. Even though it's been banned and challenged, you can't hide the truth from people. I suggest you read this book, when you are old enough, in late Jr. High or High school though or it may be to much for you.
