Summary: Love or Infatuation?
Review: "Forever," by Judy Blume, is about a teenager falling in love for the first time. Katherine is a senior in high school when she meets Michael. They hang out for a few hours on the weekends, then their relationship becomes more serious. Neither can stand to be away from the other and each vows that someday they will get married and be together forever. Katherine's parents don't approve of this, and they send her away to be a counselor at a tennis camp over the summer. She and Michael write to each other every day, until she met someone else. She is confused and begins to question how much she really cares about Michael.
Blume does a super job of showing the difference between love and infatuation between teenagers. The way she expresses the emotions and feelings between characters is very effective and realistic. Just like anyone would expect real teenagers to act and feel, changing their minds every time the wind shifts directions. For example, when Katherine goes to camp the boy she meets makes fun of the locket that Michael gave her that has the word "forever" engraved on it. He tells Katherine that she is too young to be thinking about forever, but she just blows him off. When she is alone she thinks about what this boy has said, she doesn't want to believe him, but at the same time she is strangely attracted to him. This book does a wonderful job keeping the reader interested and always wanting more.

Summary: Excellent book keeping teenagers aware of sex
Review: Forever is one of the best books I have ever read. At first, I was reluctant to read it because of its content but this is an excellent book showing the issue of sex to teen readers.
This book is so well written, it literally wraps you in the fiction and is one of a few books that literally gives you a vivid picture in your head.
I used Forever to do a speech on teen issue's which my issue was sex. It was so great to have this book as a foundation of my speech. Very few books are good enough to be talked about in a speech. I would recommend this book to teenagers and adult because for teenagers, it gives them idea what the word they know "sex", is like, and for adults because I know adults have "difficulty" of understanding teens and their circumstances. I would know for I am a teenager myself. I would not recommend this book to kids because it is very, very, graphical and i don't believe kids would be able to tolerate it.
To wrap up the review in a nutshell, this book is a masterpiece that I think is designed to keep people aware of one of our greatest issues we face in the world today.

Summary: Simply Excellent.
Review: Forever by Judy Blume is an excellent book. I first read it about 3 years ago, and I even read a few more times after that.. yes.. that's how much I liked it. The ending was, in a way, a slight disappointment. Katherine's and Michael's love for one another was beautiful and seemed almost untouchable. In a way I hated the ending because I wanted it to be a happy one.. but it does make the book a lot more interesting and realistic the way it turned out.

Summary: Forever
Review: The book I read, Forever, by Judy Blume, was an excellent book for teenage girls. This was a fiction book. This book was about a 17-year-old girl, and her life with friends and her first love. Katherine and Michael are deeply in love; they spend most of their senior year together, and plan on spending their summer together before they go to college. They have a great relationship, and are as happy as they can be. When Katherine tells her parents about their summer plan, they tell her she has to go away for the summer, and Michael does as well. Will their love still last forever as they planned?
This book was very memorable and entertaining because it really expressed a lot of the feelings and teenage girl deals with everyday. It taught me not to make someone your everything, because if you ever lost him or her, you would have nothing. That's the main point this author was trying to make. Everyone has a first love, and hopefully their relationship once made them happy, so they will never forget it. But it's hard to lose the person you think will be in your life forever, and that's what Katherine had to learn.
This book affected me in many ways. It showed me that everything is not always as it seems. Falling in love at a young age takes a lot of risk. It also showed me the how falling in love is the best feeling you can ever get, so once you find that person, don't ever let them go.

Summary: forever
Review: I enjoyed this book until the end! The end left much to be desired! As much as its true in real life that not everything ends "happily ever after" i was still dissapointed that this book did not! The relationship between Katherine and Michael developes like a rose and blossoms into not only a thing of beauty but also a thing with thorns and bumps. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend to girls over the age of 14 because the issues it describes should not be for kids under the ages 14!

I would recomend this book to a cirtin age group. should be for mature teens and adults. I do think this book should be band because of the graphics. I rated this book a four because it was a good book, but I woldnt read it again because of the graphics.

Summary: Read this book!
Review: The book that I read was called Forever, by Judy Blume. This book was fictional, but it could happen in real life, and does all the time. The book was about a senior girl in high school who met this amazing guy at a party, and they hit it off right away. They start dating and fall in love. The book describes the ups and downs of the relationship and how they overcome some things and how they just can't overcome other things.
This book was absolutely the best book I have ever read... I couldn't put it down. Everything about it made me want to keep reading, it was suspenseful, entertaining and memorable all at the same time.
I agree with the theme of this book because it happens to every girl, they fall in love and have to expand in the relationship...sometimes they can't overcome what happens, and all things go wrong. First experiences for everything happen in this book and it shows how the girl deals with it. Some things that this book leaves out is the feelings that the guy has, they focus a lot on how the girls feeling about the relationship...but not the guy. I agree with what the author is trying to represent in this book, I think that first experiences are the hardest things to deal with and it is so hard to actually face your fears, it also shows how a serious relationship can change a person completely, not always in a bad way, it can change them for the better sometimes and makes them realize a lot about their priorities. This book affected me in a lot of ways, it helped me with my own personal problems and relationships and how to deal with some of the things that happen to me.
My opinion about first experiences and relationships has changed and I am a lot more open to it. I think that if you are considering reading a book about love and real life experiences...go for this book, you won't regret it!
