Rating: Summary: Read this book . . . Review: In a beautifully told tale of first love, Judy Blume describes a relationship which Katherine, the narrator, believed could last forever. When she meets Michael at a New Year's party they hit it off and they start going out. Katherine is deeply in love with him and once she's sure the love is real, they make love. It is not as perfect as Hollywood movies would have you believe but Katherine and Michael keep sleeping together. Of course they are always responsible, there seems to be no question about it. As the book was first published in 1975, taking precautions meant avoiding pregnancy; now it means also avoiding STDs such as Hepatitis and AIDS. Therefore some of the advice Katherine is given when she goes to the family planning clinic would not apply to now. However the book is excellent and a wonderful read.
Rating: Summary: Wow!! Review: Forever was a wonderful book, that my eyes and fingers were glued too! I finished this book in one day because I did'nt want to stop reading it! I can somewhat relate to what Katherine & Michael went through together in their relationship. Loved this book! Read it!
Rating: Summary: A book about teenage sex and love. Review: This book was a great read. It's a good book especially if you are a virgin like the character in the story. I had to read this book over the summer for HS. It was unsually for me at first, bacuase Judy made the mmain character a girl especially in a story like this. Usausly it's told from the male's point of view. This book was hard to put down it was like watching a soap on tv, even if you're notattarted to the series one episode could keep you glued. Any way even though this book was a love story between a gorl and and her boyfriend Michael. It did tackle safe sex, STD's etc. It also showed how timid and reluctant the main character was at first, but after her second try she had her sex drive going on. It was a good book overall but the ending to me was questionably unrealistic I'm not sure that could happen after such a long relationship in a short period of time.
Rating: Summary: The perfect book for teenage girls! Review: I read Forever in one day, I could not put it down. Each page kept me wanting to read more and more! I was intrigued by the life of an average teenage girl, just like me. This book was very realistic and I have recommended it to all of my friends!
Rating: Summary: Great Book! Hard to put down! Review: I really loved this book, I read it in one day. It talks about your first love.I read this book when I was 121/2, I think this was a pretty good age to read it(probably 13). It talked about things that could happen when your 18 or younger or even older, I really enjoyed this book and I bet you will love it too.

Rating: Summary: Excellent account of a first sexual encounter Review: This book has been a favorite of mine since I was 10 and wasn't sure what I was getting into when I first read it. Katherine and Micheal have something very amazing and I get choked up at those parts where their communication is lost. It is very easy to read and I really recommend it to those who like Judy Blume and want to read about first time sex

Rating: Summary: Another Win For Judy Blume Review: Judy Blume always has a way of grabbing the attention of her readers and devoted fans. She has once again brought about a controversy over her elaboratly detailed book "Forever". Some may say that this book was a bit riskay for her younger teen readers, but I believe the earlier one acknowledges the uproar of sexual behavoir in the country, the better. Adults do, but should not try to hide the facts of what the world has come to, and Judy Blume helps them along with her honesty and first time synopsis in this book.
Rating: Summary: Awesome!!! Review: Some people say that sex and young adults(ages11-14) don't mix. People of this age should not hear so much graphic information. I feel totally opposite to that statement. I won't lie, I am 12 years old. And I have read that book. I have seen those "how i was made" books and all that kind of stuff, but in a comparison, Forever really tells all. I mean, I never knew about more of the in-depth stuff, such as the love, love, love for each other, the commitment, and all decisions needed for sex. I would say that I really enjoyed this book and all people, young adults, teens, adults, should read this book. I thought it was awesome and really told all.
