Summary: This is very good book.
Review: It was sad when Timothy died. Phillip learned how to truly see with blindness. I also liked it when Timothy saved Phillip by holding him to the palm tree with his back against the storm. It was amazing how Phillip dug a grave with bare hands for Timothy to buried. I also liked Stew Cat because he was a nice cat. It was a exciting story and you should read it because it had a little of comedy in it. (READ IT) SETH GILL

Review: The author did a great job of narrating this fine book. I think that the book deserves 5 stars because of its intriguing story. Throughout the book, it makes you feel that you are really in the story. It lets you imagine that you are in a Carribean Island called the Devil's Mouth. that's kind of scary. Summary: It is an excellent book! I love the relation they had.
Review: I love the shipwrecked adventure! It is about a little boy who he and his mother are moving back to Virginia. The he gets on was wrecked. A piece of lumber falls onto him. He goes to sleep on a raft with his mother but wakes up with a Negro.His pain goes away from the piece of lumber that falls on him but he becomes blind. Phillip and Timothy sail on an island. Review: I think The Cay is a must read. I think it is a good book because of the action and characters. It was a very interesting book. It is about an old man named Timothy and a little boy named Phillip. They were stranded on an island for several months. Phillip is blind and Timothy dies. Phillip is saved and has three operations. Review: I truly enjoyed this book it REALLY deserves five stars. There was only one part I disliked about this book, I didn't like how Phillip reacted to Timothy when he was a black man but other than that part it was really a great book.

Review: I think you should treat African- Americans the same way you treat your best freind. That is why I like this book because even though Timothy is African-American and Phillip is American they are still freinds. They are such good freinds that Timothy gave his life forPhillip's survival. It is the best book I have ever read. Read this book.

Review: I liked the part where the S.S.Hato gets torpedoed. I also liked the sound affects of the hurricane hitting and destroyed everything that Timothy worked to build. It was frightening when Timothy got malaria, but funny when he jumped into the lake. This is a really good book! By:Chris
