Rating: Summary: It was one of the best books I have ever read. Review: The Cay was a great book about a boy named Phillip who gets hit in the head, shipwrecked, and goes blind. He then depends on a black man named Timothy. His mom was prejudice so that is the way Phillip felt until he got to know Timothy. When Timothy dies he has to figure out how to take care of himself. The Cay is a book that tries to teach you that the color of people's skin doesn't count.
