Summary: This is really cool!
Review: I really liked this. It is a nice thing to go along with the books. It will break sort of easily, but only if you touch it a lot. I think it is a really cool, fun thing that most Redwall fans will like.

Summary: I thought the Redwall Abbey was Brian Jacque's best book!
Review: I think the Redwall Abbey isthe very best of Brian Jacque's books. What I like so much about it are the characters. They are so believable you can picture them in your mind. Like Cornflower, the sweet and innocent townmouse, and Matthias, who has the determination and courage to save the Redwall Abbey from Cluny the Scourge and his men. The best part... Matthias becomes the hero! My teacher, my classmates, and myself enjoyed reading The Redwall Abbey so much we made Redwall globes and even a display of Brian Jacques Books. Brian Jaques is an incredible author who should win an award. Brian Jaques, Write on!

Summary: Disappointed
Review: I was disappointed in this book. I bought it for my 8 year old. He loves the Redwall videos, but this model was difficult to put together (even with my help) because the directions weren't clear and it didn't stay together after we did find which "tabs" went together. Also, it is not sturdy enough for child's play. I wish I had read more of the negative reviews to that I wouldn't have bought it.

Summary: Could have been better...
Review: I was excited by the idea of a glueless assembly, but the paper construction design is horrible. I didn't want to touch it for fear it would fall over, it was so unstable. The illustrations were really nice, and the included tale "The Warriors Code" was very nice, but the construction design was really bad. I wouldn't pay the money for this product.

Summary: Only for die-hard fans....
Review: If you're a die-hard Redwall fan then you'll really love this kit; otherwise you may wish to pass. It's simple to assemble and takes about an hour in all. The some detail is quite good, but the "true" detail is lacking. (Redwall is home to many creatures, yet there is only about 4 bedrooms.) I'd recommend some Scotch invisible tape to go along with this kit as it is very unstable but otherwise the kit in general is so-so.The story/riddle book that comes with it is better and some of the cut out characters are cute, appart from Matthias, he looked rather stoned. The price isn't really worth the kit, and in all I think it could've been done much, much better. Truly for die-hard Redwall fans.

Summary: Pretty good
Review: It is a very nice model. it does need a little invisable tape here and there, but it is very detailed and nice. to give a scale its about 1' high the outer walls are 2'x3'. the warriors code is nice and fun but a little short. it helps to like redwall to enjoy this.

Summary: Fun For The Younger Audience (But Not Too Young).
Review: This is for a pre-teen kid. 6-11 or so. Though fun for older kids as well, it is too easy and more fun for the younger audience. Really little kids will break it too easily, and this model is a bit pricy just to be destroyed. It makes a good display piece for any Redwall fan.

You younger kids can get a pile of rocks and build Salamandostron hehe!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good
Review: THis model is very detailed but does take tape and much time and patience to assemble.
