Summary: Review of The Legend of Luke
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed The Legend of Luke by Brian Jacques. Just like all the other Redwall books, the dialoge and depth of character are astounding. It feels like you are in the story, like when Martin finds out what happens tp his father. Finally, I liked the story because it fills in vague parts in the other books.

The best part of the book is when Martin realizes what his father was like. He could barely remember him. Martin traveled to the North Shores to find him. Then he found out that his father Luke died valiantly.

The two story elements that were the most important to me were the resolution and the fact that it was a story within a story. I liked the resolution because Martin finally had peace with himself and stops his warrior ways. I liked the story within a storybecause it starts out with Martin journeying to the North Shore, then tells what happened to Luke, and finishes with Maritn returning home. Overall, I really enjoyed it.

Summary: My review for the Legand of Luke
Review: Legend of Luke By Brian Jacques

I think that this book would be good for kid's ages 8-13 because it is a very long book, it has a lot of big words and it only really makes sense if you have read all of the Redwall series before it.

I think this is a pretty good book but I have not read all of the books before it so it wasn't as good as it would have been if I did read all of them before it.

Summary: Martin the Warrior returns
Review: This is one of the best books in the Redwall series. Some more recent ones haven't been very good ( Lord Brocktree, especially) but this one is. The story starts off slowly with Martin journeying to find out what happened to Luke the Warrior, his father. it really gets going once it gets into the second part. The best part of this story is finding out more about Martin. The earlier books in the redwall series have always been my favourites. Next I hope Brian Jacques will write a book about Martin which ends with him hanging up his sword, and also one about Loamhedge. If you want to read this book, I advise reading Martin the warrior and Mossflower first, as they come before it, though they aren't written in chronological order.

Summary: The LEgend of Luke
Review: Martin the Warrior sets out with his friends to reveal his father, Luke's, history. You will want to read this if you have read Martin the Warrior and Mossflower.

Summary: Legend of Luke
Review: If you've read Martin the Warrior and Mossflower, you might want to give the Legend of Luke a try. In this book, you learn Luke's (Martin's dad's) story, how he died and all. Adventurous and action-packed, and in a few places humorous (when a hare forgets his name). A great book! Couldn't put it down until I was done.

Summary: This book is not worth reading.
Review: I regret reading this book. It has a promising start, introducing many old characters such as Ferdy and Cogg and Martin. However, after reading the first few chapters, I began to wish for something more. It is incomprehensibly dull, with tiny patches of action that involve baddies that fight as well as rocks.Reminds me off Mossflower. The book has a slight peak when Martin and some of his pals are attemting to get out to a huge grouping off jagged rocks on the ocean that could be tense. From that point on, however, the story declines in quality. The raid on Lukes village is pathetic, with no actual description of the fight, just some characters returning home to find lotsa things dead. Consequently, Luke and some others kill another load of searats with ease and steal their boat to hunt after Vilu Daskar. [The big baddie]. There is a needlessly long and boring chase until, well you can probably guess what happens, and I won't spoil it for all of you out there who may still want to read this book, but please don't.

Summary: Luke the Warrior
Review: The book was very enjoyable. There was suspense, thrill, and it was action filled. You could really relate to some of the characters. The plot of the story flowed throughout the whole book. It was neat to finally be able to hear the storey of Martin and his family when he was little. Hearing the story of Martins father Luke really put an edge to the story.

Summary: Exiting, action filled adventure!
Review: In the latest book of Jacques' mystical series of stories about Redwall Abby and its creatures, Martin, the famed Warrior and founder of Redwall, goes in search of the story of his long lost father, Luke. Luke's tribe viciously slaughtered by the pirate stoat captain Vilu Daskar and his crew while Luke and his warriors where away. Luke's mother, Windred, and son Martin are two of the few spared from Daskar's wrath. Luke sets out for vengeance against his wife's murderer. This story was so appealing because, for one, I already love the Redwall series and because I felt like I could really get into the book. If you like medieval battle or pirate stories, you'll love The Legend of Luke!

Summary: Greatest book yet!
Review: Personaly, I think this is probably one of the best books out there posible to read! Great discriptions, songs, plots, and everything else posible! Mr. Jacques has really outdone himself on this title. All the characters are well introduced, discribed and presented. You become one of the characters, living it all out.

Summary: A Great Book Like All of the Other Redwall Series
Review: The book basically had two parts. A mouse named Martin and his journey to his fathers boat, and Luke's, his father's, journey on a slave ship of mice and rodents run by rats and weasels. As Martin journeyed through the woods he encountered friends and foes and there was never a dull moment. Luke had a less fortunate journey having to fight for his life and escaping from evil leaders of conquering rats trying to take over the ocean and woods. A very exciting book that was full of surprises and coincidences that tied the other books together.
