Summary: Very Entertaining!
Review: It has been probably 5 years since I last read a novel of Redwall. I picked up The Legend of Luke at the beach for my senior beachweek. I must say I can't remember another Redwall novel that was better than Luke. Brian really pulled it off this time. Characters from the novel Mossflower are revisited in this heroic tale. A must read for all Redwall fans. A+

Summary: For the Faithful
Review: For all the faithful Redwallers who know, love, and care for Martin, son of Luke, will also love this book. It made me smile, laugh, and get frustrated, but most of all it made me cry. It is unlike any of Brian's other books, but just as enchanting rip-roaring,and exciting as the rest. Join our beloved Warrior on a journey to find his father, and his own self.

Review: The Legend of Luke is a great book and you can finally find out what happened to Martans father Luke. The story is interesting and filled with excitement and adventure.
A couple of close friends go with Martan to his childhood home where they hear the story of his father Luke from some of Luke's old friends. So in a way when you read this book you get two stories. One being the story of Luke and the other a story of Martans trek to and from his childhood home.
Buy it, enjoy it.

Summary: A REALLY good book!
Review: After reading Martin the Warrior, I wanted to know more about Martin's father, Luke. When I found out about this book, I couldn't wait to read it. And it didn't let me down- I enjoyed every word!
I especially liked learning what happened to Luke after he left Martin and his home to seek vengeance on a stoat named Vilu Daskar.
I was a little dissapointed at the end that Jaques did not have the two warriors (Luke and Martin) meet again, but I still enjoyed it, and the ending turned out happy after all.

I can tell you, if you're a Redwall fan, then you should really read this book. I read this book in practically a day! I couldn't put it down until it was finished. Next, I'm going to read it to my brother and sister. Anyway, everyone should read this book!

Summary: The Search of Love and War
Review: A Review by Eric
A young rodent came to the red wall and tells martin that she knew people who knew his father, Luke. So they soon set out for a journey to find Luke. Not even a day into the journey they say young squirrel captive of many different animals so martin, Dinny, Gonff and Trimp to rescue him. They did rescue him and went to North Shore. There they met a rabbit that told martin the story of Luke. You find out what happened to his father, but I wont tell you.

This story slowly revels the character personalities through the other characters. Pretty much all the characters were great and, they all had their separate personalities. Gonff Chugger the squirrel that they rescued was a character. He was always goofing around. Martin seemed like he was really serous. With the help of the other characters he seemed to lighten up and relax more. The plot was great and every thing made since in the end, that is if you read every part of the story. Some times it skips around but if your paying attention you'll understand what's going on. The language was easy to understand. The only time when it was hard to understand was when Chugger or the moles were talking. One phrase would say "Heeheehee, urr, an' us'n's bite ee paws offen." Which says, those ones would have bitten me paws off." The one bad thing though Is that there are a lot of songs so they kind of break up the story. Which means they don't help in letting the story running smoothly. Also the book is fairly long with 340 pages. But you need all the pages because they tell you every thing you need to know in the story.

So if you like a serious, adventuresome boob then this is the book for you. It's got many battles and is very descriptive. So if you want a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat then this is the book for you. And if it sounds like this book then you should read the other 11 books in the series.

Summary: A good book!
Review: The basic story of Redwall is the plot of kind-hearted hedgehogs, mice, gophers battling or hoping to be at peace with foxes, ferrets, etc.
This story in particularly about Martin the Warrior of Redwall going out on a summer's journey to search for remains of Luke, Martin's father.
While the story seems to drag at spots making me want to skip some chapters, all in all it is a formidable book, shaping up to be quite entertaining. I recommend it for fantasy fans and teens and preteens seem to enjoy this series the most.

Summary: THE LEGEND OF LUKE : A REVIEW
Review: The Legend of Luke is a great book. It talks about how Martin the Warrior goes back to where he was born to find his father, Luke the warrior. Trimp, Dinny, Gonff, and Martin leave Redwall to the caves of Luke's tribe. On their way, they meet many friends. When they reach the caves, Martin goes alone into a cave where he sensed that someone was there. He then, finds his father's good friend, Vurg who leads him to a great ship that was held on to two great rocks called the Arfship. Martin asked each one who were stranded on the ship where his father was, but they all answered that he was dead. Then, they told him what had happened to his father, Luke.
What I liked about this book was when his father, Luke gives Martin a great sword which had been in his family for four generations. I also liked the part when Luke seeks out to murder Vilu Daskar who had killed his wife, Sayna. I had always liked the parts when Martin was fighting a lot of vermin by himself. My Favorite part was when Chugger, a squirrel babe, promotes himself to captain and gives out orders to everybody on the way back to Redwall. One time, Chugger told Trimp to serve his crew and also to serve some to his grandpas(That's Vurg and the others on the Arfship). Then, Trimp got so mad she yelled and said "Do ya' want me to scrub the decks too? Huh? Captain!?" and Chugg replied "No, no, do that later, me grandpas need some sleep". After that, Trimp became speechless.
I didn't like the part when gave up his sword to live a peaceful life because he was a great fighter. I also didn't like the part when Luke was caught and put to the bottom of Vilu Daskar's ship where he remained a slave until he killed Vilu Daskar. Like I said, the Legend of Luke is a great book that you should read sometime.

Summary: a review for Legend of Luke
Review: all who choose to check out these reviews, i recommend this book if you like animals, fiction novels, poetry, and a good plot. one of the best things about this book was that the plot was very different than most redwall books. if you aren't familiar with redwall books, the basic plot is that evil ferrets, rats, foxes, weasels, etc. come to a peaceful land and take over. then one main good character goes on a journey, rounds up an army, and comes back to saev the day. every story is a little different, but most redwall books follow along those lines. some, like the Outcast of Redwall, are quite different. ANYWAY, this book is different, it is where martin, the famous mouse warrior of redwall abbey, goes to find out the past of his father. it then goes on to tell the story of his father, and that's as far as i'll go. Okay, enough blabbinh about history and plots. It was a good book, full of great, original descriptions. I hoped this helped you and wasn't a waste of your time. : ) !
