Summary: The best book yet!
Review: This is most definately the best Redwall book Brian Jacques has written yet! This is for all of us who were dissapointed that none of his books since Martin the Warriar and Mossflower were about Martin. This book has all of your favorite characters from Mossflower; Martin, Gnoff, Bella and more!Martin leaves Redwall with a small entourage; Gonff (of course), and a few other friends, to try to find what happened to his father, Luke. READ THIS BOOK!

Summary: Jacues pulls it off again, Wow.
Review: I am amazed at the talent that Mr. Jacques (pronounced 'Jakes") has to be able to create such a perfect world, and keep it original through twelve books. Though I still like Redwall best, The Legend of Luke is an amazing addition to the wonderous series. If you havn't read any of the Redwall series yet, I implore you to do so.

Summary: I love it, I love it, I love love love love love it!
Review: Brian Jacques really has a way of creating an enchanting world that you can really experience. I currently own the entire Redwall series and read them again every year. You'd probably think I'd get bored of reading them, but whenever I read it again, my eyes get glued to the page and I love all of the characters. Thank God for Brian Jacques. The Legend of Luke is his best yet!

Summary: So your kids have read all the Harry Potter books...
Review: ... now try Brian Jacques. The Redwall series combines exquisite writing, memorable characters, and suspenseful story-lines. Like Mr. Ostby (see below), I read this novel to my children and wow, were they entertained. I kept pushing back their bedtime because I didn't want to stop reading!

The best compliment I can pay Mr. Jacques is to relay a comment my five year-old, Elizabeth, made after I read the final sentence: "Start over!"

Summary: So great, I couldn't wait
Review: Let me explain the magic of Brian Jacques:

I was on vacation in paris for my graduation this summer and I saw Legend of Luke int he window of an English Language bookshop. I couldn't wait for it to come out in the US (it just did, I had it in July) so I bought it. I then changed my plans for the remainder of the day and read the book. Suffice it to say that I was happy with my descision...

Get it! Read it! NOW!

Summary: Jacques scores again!
Review: I purchased the UK edition of "The Legend of Luke" a few months ago because I'm such a Redwall nut. I've had the opportunity to re-read this gem a few times. If your a fan of the series, then all the reasons you are a fan, are in the 12th edition to the series!

Brian Jacques is the J.R.R. Tolkien or the Richard Adams of our era. His material will be being read and thoroughly enjoyed generations from now. As for right now, his works are some the most cross generational pieces of literature on the market today. What's not to love about critters with swords? :)

Everyone whom I have recommended and pointed towards the Brian Jacques Redwall series, have come away saying thank you! If your already hooked like me, then the purchase of this book is a given. BUT if your new and wondering what all the hub bub is about Brian Jacques and the Redwall series ... why not find out for yourself? It will be some of the best money you've spent in a while for entertainment. Long live Redwall!

Summary: A swash buclikng good tale
Review: This is the 12 book in the red wal series. It is the prequel and sequel to mossflower. In legend of Luke Martin the Warrior, Gonf and Young Dinny go on a quest to find out what happens to martins fateher luke.

In it we learn that luke Died shortly after kiling the Vile Dark star a vile vermin corsair who murder his wife. For those of you who read Martin the Warrior you know what becomes of Martin after his father leaves him behind.

Log a log is back so is delight ful Fedd and Cogs sweet old Bell of Brochhall is back to. If you like this book I also recomennd Mossflower and Martin the Warrior for the are the only other books that martin is in that is a Major character. Tell redwall encyloped that there source of books that Martin is in accurate. Sir he is dead and nimare character in the other but he should still be on the list.

Summary: Live the tale or read the story
Review: Another fasinating, yet sad tale, of a father that abandons his son to avenge his wife's death, and a son that wishes to know more about his father. It begins when Trimp, a hedgehog who happens upon Redwall, and a song from the northlands that stirs Martin the Warrior's desire to find out who his father really was, and if he's still alive. Battling obsticles along the way, Martin and his friends find the answers in the remains of a red ship, and Martin finds out the truth of his father's rage against a pirate captian, swearing to end his evil, even if it meant leaving his only son. Of the books I've read, this is probably the saddest, but it was well written, and the artwork was beautiful, but it seemed the Mr. Jacques tried to glorify Luke's want for vengence. I didn't agree with it, but he was a brave charecter. I can agree with that.
