Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A great book Review: This is a book review on I've lived a Thousand Years by Livia Bitton Jackson. I've Lived a Thousand years is a great book. I personally really liked it. The story's about a character named Eli. Eli gets sent to Auschwitz and then is sent to Plazow. She thought she was going to a Labor Camp. Every day is a threat that you could go to where the Jews most dread. The Gas Chamber! Eli has doubt that she will survive. This is all taking place in the 1940's in Germany during the Holocaust. My opinion of the book is that it's boring at the very beginning but once you get to the 5th chapter it's like you never want to stop reading. I liked it was because its always exciting. Also because at the end of the chapter it leaves you wondering what's going to happen in the next chapter. My two favorite part are when they see the sign that says Auschwitz, not that it's funny, it's that it is very well written. The whole book is filled with good vocabulary and lots of cool words. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes war books. Even if you didn't like the other ones I bet you'll like this book. It is very well written, and it is not very long. Even though this book has won no awards I think it deserves all the awards and 5 stars. My favorite reason I like it is because its really fast reading.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: THE BEST BOOK!!! Review: This book is the best book i've ever read! I couldn't put the book down! It made me feel what the author was saying! It made me appreciate what I had. The author's thoughts melted me. I sugest everyone read this book!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The Horror of The Holocaust... Review: The horror of the Holocaust comes to life in this book based on the author's experience. You can really feel the fear. This book gave me nightmares after I read it, so much that I sank into a depression and thought the ground was shaking and everytime an airplane flew by it was an enemy race of extraterrestrial beings from Mars, but I'm over that now and I really think the book was great. Don't be scared that you'll get nigthmares after you read it as well, because that was just me. If you want a book about the Holocaust, this is the one to get. The best part was the way it was written. The author explained it simple, yet detailed. It's kind hard to explain, so you'll just after to get it for yourself. It's truly one of my favorite books.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: It's a Reality Review: I originally read this book for a huge research project I didin 8th grade, and found it to be one of the most capturing books Ihave ever read, Ellike has gone through one of the most horrifying experiences in our world's history, and she should be recognized for the fact that she was one of the lucky ones. She lost her her life, her childhood, and everything that she held dear. This is something no one should go through, no matter what their beliefs. She tells her story with such vivid detail, it's hard to comprehend what life was really like during the holocaust. Sometimes the content makes it seem like this really didn't happen, because of the abuse and torture from the German Military. I have read this book many times and each time I read it there is something new I get out of it. I would highly recommend this to anyone, whether they have an interest in the 1940's or not.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: One of the Greatest Accounts of the Holocaust Review: I Have Lived a Thousand Years was one of the best books about the Holocaust that I've ever read. It helped me to realize the real horrors of the Holocaust and what all of those innocent people went through. This is one of the few books that I couldn't stop reading. If you're interested in the Holocaust you have to read this book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Ellike Review: The book is about a girl named Ellike and her family that they are Jews and they have to go to a concentration camp. They get to a concentration camp and they have to work everyday. All the people in the concentration camp don't eat for about two days and when they eat their plates have worms in it and when they drink they have to drink from a lake. The reason I like this book is because I wanted to know what happends next. I recommend this book to small kids like us because it teaches you about the Holocaust.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A book that you will never forget Review: This book was a very interesting and disturbing book. It isscary to think that the Nazis could actually dehumanize the Jews likethey did in the book. I could not stop reading this book. It only took me two nights to read because I could not put the book down. I recommended this book to many of my friends and to my teachers. I liked this book because I am Jewish and I like to learn about the Jewish heritage, even the bad parts. I have been studying about the holocaust ever since I started school, and this book gave me more thoughts about the Holocaust than anything else I read at school. This book is good at explaining how the Jews survived and how they died in the Holocaust. It also explained how they kept their hope. Elli and her mother have a very interesting story. It is interesting that they went through so many camps and survived. The fact that this book is a true story tears my heart. All in all, this book was an amazing book and I would recommend it to anybody. BUY THIS BOOK!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great book Review: This book is one of those books you never forget. I read this book 2 years ago, and this is the book I compare all the other holocaust books to. This is a story of a teenaged girl who was taken from her home to a ghetto, and then to a nazi camp. It tells of how she was separated because of the color of her hair and her gender. She saved her mother from being killed. She went into great detail about how the place looked and how the people were treated. It painted a picture in you head that you will never forget. This will always be my favorite book. You must read it!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: a wonderful book that really touches your heart Review: I Have Lived a Thousand Years is a real example of life in the Holocaust, not some sugary sweet made up version. It's a tear jerker and you really realize the horror of what was happening back then. I couldn't put it down until i was done w/ it!
