Summary: A wonderful book that is a delight to read
Review: This is one of my all time favorite books. I've read this book over and over. The book is incredibly well written and so easy to read. It takes me no more the 2 days to read the entire book. The characters are so real and make you feel for each and everyone. The message of the book comes through. Outstanding book. should be read by all

Summary: Fallen Angels is a grand drama about warriors in vietnam
Review: The book Fallen Angels was written by the fantastic young adult author Walter Dean Myers. The story takes place in the jungles of Vietnam where a young man named Richie Perry is pushed into a violent war that he doesn't understand and has to fight for the life of his comrades and his own. This story will keep you interested to the end. Besides Richie Perry, this book is filled with a full cast of colorful characters like Peewee who is a rather small man in stature, yet he doesn't let that stop him from from telling anybody how he feels no matter what their size. Other characters such as Lobel, Monaco, Johnson, Brunner, and Sergeant Simpson also help make this riveting story come to life. There is a downside to all of these great things and that is the lack-luster ending. That is where the book comes to a screeching hault and leaves you wondering about how they get home and what happens when they get there. I would strongly reccomend this book to anybody who is interested in learning a little about our country's involvement in Vietnam ,and the lives and trials of another era long since passed.

Summary: Account of the Vietnam War
Review: This book was a great recollection of the times in the Vietnam War, but also was a great lesson of how not to write a book. The harsh language and horrible attempt to emulate African American dialect was ridiculous. It was an easy read, but, all in all, one of the worst books ever written.

Summary: It's full of action and keeps you going until the last page
Review: It's an action-packed, dramatic book, in Richard Perry's point of view. It kept me reading until I was on the last page!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This book is very realistic
Review: The usage of words to describe the way the soldiers were feeling was so dramatic the it will touch your heart. All the stories in this book are true to the fact, many soldiers died in that war and this book isn't afraid to tell how. The pressure put on Richie to write letters to the families of the dead soldiers in his squad, is almost too much for one person to take. I give it a perfect rating!

Summary: One of the best books ever!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: What can I say. Fallen Angels is a teriffic book. Being a teenager I really felt close to the characters in this book. The characterization in this book is teriffic. It's more indirect than direct because it does tell what each character is like but you still feel like these people have secrets that are better not told. Also I could really relate to the movie freak Lobel being a movie freak myself which made this book all the more better.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: excellent, a book you can really understand
Review: this book is fantastic. The reader is able to really get the plot and what is happening b/c it doesn't contain heavy symbolism or hidden meanings that might distract the reader. When you read it the story line is what you get, not a bunch high society engilsh nonsence that has nothing to do with the story line. On top of that the story itself is absolutly fantastic.

Rating: 4 stars
