Rating: Summary: a truly touching story Review: Richie Perry,a soldier in the Vietam war, only has one thought in his head, to get out alive. In Fallen Angels, by Walter Dean Myers, that one thought is the thought of all the soldiers in the story.Perry meets a group of friends and they stick together no matter what happens. They all have different personalities but they still work together to stay alive. I love this book because Myers uses that right words to make it feel like your really there with the guys. I think that this book is one of the best books I have ever read. I recomend this book to anyone who enjoys a truly touching story.
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: I thought it was a great book. At first I was kind of turned off by the language but I got used to it and it really added to the characters. It was a great book about Vietnam and it gave me a new respect for the people who went there.
Rating: Summary: Fallen Angels Review: This book is the most thrilling tense book I have read. This book deserves a higher rating than five star. You will fall in love with Perry, Lobel, Peewee, Johnson, and Brunner. It will grip you with the real stories of the Vietnam war. You will read about the soldiers thoughts as they watch some of there closets friends cut down by the enemy.
Rating: Summary: " Great Book " Review: This book was a vietnam war story. It was extreamly good, and I never put it down for a second! The charectors are pictured strongly, and the story-line is clear. I read this book for school, it was my first war story. I loved this book and everyone should read it!
Rating: Summary: A surprisingly good novel. Review: This novel written by an author who did not even participate in the Vietnam War, Walter Dean Myers, is surprisingly good. It clearly portrays the carnage, chaos, and extereme realism of the Vianamese conflict. Overall a very exciting book. Though the language in this book can be considered disturbing, the topic justifies its use.
Rating: Summary: 5 friends trying get out of Vietnam alive. Review: Richie Perry and the friends he meets in Vietnam are trying to live through the war. While they are becoming friends.I especially liked when Perry met Peewee because Peewee is very funny.I liked this book because I didn't know much about what people thought about while they were in war.And this book helped me understand.

Rating: Summary: Truely incredible Review: I first started reading this book as part of a Government class reading requirment but soon became so into the book I couldn't put it down(except during lunch, don't try to read and eat at the same time with this book!) it was so real and made me think again about so many things I take for granted in the USA.
Rating: Summary: The only 1 line review I can think of in 1 word is "cool" Review: I got this book for a summer reading assignment that didnt require any at home reading. I disregaurded this and promised myself that I wouldnt put it down until I finished it. Well, it took me 27 hours, but I finnaly did it. And I must say, this was the most brilliantly written book that I or any of my friends have ever read Mr. Myers, I commend you on a pretty darn good job.
