Rating: Summary: Great! Daughters of the moon number 3 is great! Review: I highly recomend this book. I read it the night I got the shipping, I just couldn't stop reading it! It has a lot of adventure in this one, trip to the underworld, losing a power, and someone you love. It is really a great book! It shows how the Followers might get the last fight, but I will everyone else to read that and figure out if they do.
Rating: Summary: The best series ever!!!!! Review: I love these books. They are exciting and I can't wait to read the next one every time I finish one. I think it's so cool that Vanessa can turn invisible and Catty can go back in time. I wish I could read minds like Serena and tell the future like Jimena. I really liked this book even though Jimena isn't my favorite. I'm in sixth grade and these are my favorite series!
Rating: Summary: Great book ! Review: I've read all of the the books in this series and this is my favorite book in the series ! If your in to supernatural stories mixed with romance and adventure then this book & series are definetly for you
Rating: Summary: Night Shade Review: In Night Shade, Cassandra, a Follower is planning to take down the Daughters of the Moon. She even goes back to the past to change an event but you don't know what has been changed because it is already something in their past and as Catty says in the book, you can't change something in the past unless it was already meant to be. The weird thing is that Veto, Jimena's past love, appears who you think is already dead. Then you learn that Veto made a pack with the Atrox so that he could be with Jimena because they said that nothing would separate them, including death. This is a great book and I recommed it to anyone.
Rating: Summary: A Lost Love.... a Traitor....... Review: In this cool book, Jimena meets her long lost love Veto. She can't beleive it. At first, she thinks Veto is some hallucination or a ghost. But he is neither. Jimena wants to believe that Veto is real, but somehow Veto has changed. Jimena makes a startling discovery that Veto may have helped the Atrox to destroy her and her sisters, and it may be too late to save the daughters of the moon. Was Veto decieved by the Atrox, or was Jimena decieved by Veto? If Veto is really dead, could there be chance that things might work out between Jimena and Collin? Could Jimena actually fall in love with Collin??????
Rating: Summary: Jimena Bugs me! Review: JImena Castillow is a daughter of a moon, her power is she gets visions of the future. Ever since the beginning I have not like Jimena, her problems just don't seem as intresting as Serena's or Catty's (Catty's is the next book.) I just didn't enjoy this book as much as I did with all the other ones. It starts off with Jimena walking down the streets with people being so scared of her because she was the toughest gangster around. (That's another thing about her, she thinks too much of herself.) When all of a sudden she hears the word Jaguar. She panicks because only Veto called her that, and he was dead. So she see's Veto and she is confused because he is supposed to be dead. Meanwhile, some followers have been rowing out to the middle of the lake, disapearing for a while, then coming back. Stanton told Serena that some of the followers have been favoured by the Atrox. Stanton also says that Veto isn't alive, and that he is a Shade. But what is that? Even though this book wasn't very exciting and everything was so predictable. You should still read it so you don't get confused with the books to come.
Rating: Summary: Jimena must confront her painful past in order to survive. Review: Jimena grew up in the violent, gang-infested world of inner city Los Angeles. As a young teen, she was lured into a gang, believing violence was the answer to all her problems. But when her boyfriend Veto was killed, she struggled to rebuild her life, free of the world of gangs. When she discovered her special power to see the future was real and that she was part of a greater destiny as a Daughter of the Moon, Jimena attempted to put her past behind her. Now, the battle between good and evil is heating up. But against her will, Jimena is pulled back into her old life with the sudden reappearance of Veto, who insists that he never died. However, Jimena's fellow daughters, Vanessa, Serene, and Catty, and their mentor, Maggie, believe that Veto has been brought back from the dead by their mortal enemy, the Atrox. Jimena wants to believe that Veto has nothing to do with the Atrox - but if she wants to survive, she will have to face the truth, painful though it may be. This book was a thrilling continuation of the Daughters of the Moon series. I reccomend it to all fans of the first two books.
Rating: Summary: Veto returns Review: Jimena is so excited about being reunited with her lost love, Veto. At first, Jimena thinks Veto is just a figment of her imagination, or a ghost. But what Jimena doesn't know is that her love for Veto may cost her her powers. She also may be leading her sisters to their deaths.
Rating: Summary: best of the daughters of the moon series Review: Jimena is the tough girl in town. The girl that all guys stare at, but are too afraid to go up to. She wasn't afraid of anything, until she saw Veto, the love of her life. The thing is, he had died a year ago, or had he? Veto had made a bargain with the Atrox to come back to life and love Jimena as he had before. What Veto hadn't known was Jimena's new secret. She was one of the Daughters of the Moon. She had the power of premonition. Her friends were Serene, Catty, and Vanessa stand by her side through the whole thing. Each have powers of their own, each with the same enemy, the Atrox, which Veto hadn't known. Maggie, Jimena's gaurdian, helps her through her problems as Jimena's power is stolen from a new member of the Atrox and Veto plummets down to Tartarus, a name for a place we all know as hell. Will Jimena be able to get her powers back? Was she still a daughter of the moon without her powers? Can she still save Veto? This is a great book and I know if you read it you'll love it as much as I did!
Rating: Summary: Jimena risks everything for love Review: Jimena used to be in a gang in Los Angeles and now she knows that she is a goddess with special powers to know about the future but she doesn't lose her gang attitude. She walks in her neighborhood like she's still ready to fight and she likes the way she makesother people nervous with her attitude but when she sees her first love Berto she can't control herself anymore because she thought he was dead. That's the beginning and the story gets better from there plus Greek mythology is really big in this book. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
