Summary: I thought this Book was loaded down with adventure.
Review: The book was My favorite of all times. If you Liked the other books in this series your bound to love this one. Pearls of Lutra is loaded with suspense, action, and joy.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: EVEN BETTER THAN CANDIED CHESTNUTS AND OCTOBER ALE!
Review: Praise Haaaaaaaaaaawn Brian! Another great book from the series! I found Tansy to be an ok character, but my favorite had to be Grath. I am partial to badgers, otters, and hares. Clecky was very funny, and oi also loikd they moles. The riddles were a wonderful touch, and I managed to solve a few myself. I liked Inbar and Romsca (she was the only half-DECENT corsair>:-}). Something more should have happened to the Abbeybeasts, like in Mattimeo when the ravens attack Redwall. Overall this was a good book, one that any Redwall fan should read. (it was cool when a certain trident-rat and a certain fox killed eachother!) HOLT LUTRAAAAAAAAA! EULALIAAAAAAAAAA! REDWAAAAAAAAAAALL!

Summary: The Pearls of Lutra diplays Brian Jacques at his best.
Review: The Pearls of Lutra is by far the best of the Redwall series. Maybe it is me, but I think Jacques' two latest books, Marlfox and The Long Patrol, lack the same richness all of his other books possess. Perhaps I am too old now though (14), to experience the magic I once felt. However, no child should leave ANY of the Redwall series unread. Brian Jacques is a wonderful storyteller, and he is able to spin tales of such fantastic places that it is hard to pull yourself away. If you haven't read any of his books, go! The entire cast of Redwall is waiting for you...

Summary: 6 perfect pearls makes a melee of two hordes and an abbey.
Review: This is a very good book and keeps you on the edge of your seat (or bed...).

Summary: This is the best redwall novel by far!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Redwall is the best series of books but this is the best book. Starring Tansy the hedgehog, Craklyn the squirrel, Rollo the recorder, abbot Durall, Piknim squirrel and Martin the warrior this tells a tale of six rose colored pearls, the tears of all the ocean which are trying to be found for two different reasons. On the isle of sampetra, a madeyed emporer, Ublaz is also trying to find the pearls. With the aid of trident weilding rats and flesh eating lizards, he is competing with corsairs for controll of the isle. So if you're looking for adventure and battles and amazing power, read Pearls of Lutra.

Summary: Pretty Good
Review: It was fairly a good book. It saved Outcast of Redwall's humiliation but some of the adventure was lacking. The baddie (Ublaz) was kinda cheezy but the riddles were real mindbogglers.

Summary: A Great Book!
Review: The Pearls of Lutra is a exciting and adventurous book. It's characters are full of life and very interesting. One of my favorite books!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very exiting and with a good cast of characters.
Review: Very exiting with a strong cast of characters and many exciting settings and battles such as Sampetra with an especially interesting storyline.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Involved plot, some great scenes, but something lacking...
Review: Echoing the sentiments of other readers, I must say that this book did not equal other items in the Redwall series. Firstly, I disliked the reuse of the name Martin; no warrior should live in the shadow of another; each should be his or her own person Secondly, some characters were rather unappealing, such as Grath (inflexible and bent on revenge), Cicely (VERY one-dimensional; always in a nasty temper) and Tansy (ever the good little Redwaller). Lastly, the plot, though gratifyingly complex, had a very weak center point: the Redwallers are toiling endlessly to (drumroll please) rescue one old abbot who seems quite complacent and is going to give up his position anyway. The book definately needed a more driving force. On the positive side, the book's plot was, as I have mentioned already, substantially complex, with many twists and turns. There were also a few poignant scenes (the deaths of a certain abbeydweller and a certain corsair, whose names I must neglect to mention in a review), but more would have been much appreciated. In short, this book is a good one (obviously, if it's from Redwall) and should be read by veterans of the series, as it is followed by Long Patrol and, I believe, Marlfox, but is not destined to become a favorite.
