Rating: Summary: Look into my eyes!!! Review: This book is great. It's my favourite book out of the whole Redwall series, and I've read every single one that I can read. Unfortunately, this was the second book in the series that I read. My first was Martin the Warrior. Pretty dumb, because the Abbey Warrior in "The Pearls of Lutra" is called Martin, and I spent ages trying to figure out how the dead Martin from "Martin the Warrior" was alive again! Of course, this Martin is actuallly the son of Mattimeo and Tess Churchmouse, NOT the original warrior. I loved all the riddles in this book, that's what makes a Redwall book a good book. Only one thing, what was the point in all the hypnotising thing? I thought it was corny and dumb. Nothing personal Mr. Jacques. Apart from that, I loved it!
Rating: Summary: Redwalllll! Eeulaliaaaa! Holt Lutraaaa! Log-a-Log-a-Log! Review: I loved it! Every sentence keeps you laughing, wondering, or cheering for the heros and herons. If you loved this, read ALL of the Redwall books. They are incredable!
Rating: Summary: The best book in the seires so far Review: I am a young adult and I have read this book. I rate it five stars because it reads nicely and has a very seductive plot. It draws the readers to it.
Rating: Summary: Nobody's perfect Review: When I'm looking for stories of this type, I prefer FurrySpace stuff or integrated modern fiction, but still this novel is a good solid read. Nice diverse plot, our old friends from Mattimeo and new ones that fit in seamlessly. My only gripe is that as of yet in the series, the author hasn't explained what exactly his little world is doing there. Piers Anthony wrote up an acceptable story for his even weirder Xanth series, but our pal Brian here? Nope. Anyway, take it or leave it, I may be the only one in the world who cares about that. Anyway, read this book, and see what you think of it.
Rating: Summary: I LOVE IT!!!!! Review: This book is the best book I ever read. Well I am reading the Bellmaker right now but right now it is my top book. If you liked the other redwall books you will love this one. The riddles were awesome!
Rating: Summary: I really enjoyed this book Review: I am a fan of Brain Jacques and think he's created another great addition to the Redwall collection. Pearls of Lutra is a page-turning fantasy adventure novel that left me truely satistfied after I had finished it. A liked how the small animals in the story were just like humans. You really don't need to read the other novels in the Redwall series to understand this one. A great book with all parts considered!
Rating: Summary: This is a good puzzler Review: Another of Brian Jacques' masterpieces! This book has another good riddle to solve, with a marvelous prize to strive for!
Rating: Summary: Damn its good! Review: This book is good. Its one of the best books i've read! This is one of the best books that Jaques has written. I can't wait til the next Redwall book which features Martin 2.
Rating: Summary: Packed with riddles and war,a must for all action lovers. Review: Looking for a book with humor, war, action, food, trickery, and heroism all in one? Then you should buy Pearls of Lutra. It is a great book for all ages. It was my favorite of the series. It has something excited happening all the time. It is different from the others because it can make you sad in parts of it. It is sort of mysterious. Well, I'll explain. Here's an over view of the book: An evil pine marten named Ublaz, the emperor of a place called Sampetra, raids the den of Lutra the otter, to get the coveted Pearls of Lutra, only to find that they were stolen. An animal of Redwall had stolen them long ago, and hid them in different parts of Redwall Abbey. The Redwallers finally find them, and Ublaz comes to steal them back. Martin the Warrior and others creatures from the mountain Salamandastron join the Redwallers to battle him, because he had killed Martin's friend, who was Lutra's kin, to get the pearls. Ublaz is defeated, and the pearls are... well, you'll have ! to read the book to find out what happens. Other things happen, too. The Abbey comes down with a terrible illness, and Martin is almost killed by a seagull. If you like animals and fantasy, You'll love this. You should also try the other Redwall books. But don't take my word for it, go out and buy it yourself. Redwallllll!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Absolute five star deserver! Review: I myself LOVED this book because it is extremely exciting and keeps you on your toes, and doesn't take alll that long to read.
