Summary: The Pearls Of Lutra By Brian Jacques
Review: I am going to write about The Pearls Of Lutra, by Brian Jacques. The book is about Emperor Ublaz, also nicknamed mad eyes. He sends his army of lizards on a mission to Redwall. Meanwhile Tansy and the abbey dwellers race to unravel the six difficult riddles leading to six rose coloured gems which were also known as 'The Pearls of Lutra.' They all rush around frantically trying to find the gems. The story is a mystical mind-blowing adventure, about a war between the good and bad.

I enjoyed the story as I find talking animals fascinating, and like books that have this in. I think that Brian Jacques has written the story effectively, and I am looking for more books written by him. He grabs your attention and pulls you into the story. I think that the story is for about twelve to fourteen years olds. If you like animal adventures then you would like this book and I advice you to read this book.

Summary: This book was my fave! ;)
Review: I think that the book The Pearls of Lutra was totally cool! It was about a different sort of crisis in Redwall. When the an evil pine marten, Emperor Ublaz "Mad Eyes" of Sampetra, sets out to claim the "Tears of All Oceans",six beautiful pink pearls, for his own,the trouble on Sampetra naturally turns North towards Redwall Abbey. One of the corsairs from the island stole the Tears from his Captain, who was taking them to Ublaz. Greylunk(the corsair) received a fatal head injury from his accomplice, and painfully made his way to Redwall, where he was nursed by Fermald the Ancient until his death. Fermald hides the 6 pearls around the abbey. When Ublaz sends a young,kind-hearted corsair ferret named Romsca and a score of filthy monitor lizards to reclaim the pearls, they kidnao the Abbot and a young vole named Viola, and sail back to Sampetra with them. However, some complications arise.... Ok, mateys, I anit sayin no more! Read this yarn for yerselves. The book was beautifully written, and though the characters were a bit 2/D at times, I loved it. I especially thought that Romsca,Barranca and Conva(for the short time he lived) were really cool.

Summary: Holt Lutraaaa!!!
Review: This book is really good. Action, riddles, drama...this book has it all. In my oppinion its one of this best in the Redwall series (a series with animals as animals as main characters). Also if you like this book read the Long Patrol so you can see Tansy,Craklyn and others again.

Summary: The Pearls of Lutra
Review: The Pearls of Lutra is a great book. It has a lot of action and is very exciting. It is about a hedgehog maid, whom is called Tansy, has to find the six-magnificent rose-colored pearls that inspire greed, passion, and deception before an evil, and evil greedy king does.To find the pearls, Tansy and her companions have to solve a series of riddles. I bet you that you would agree that his is a great book.
I like the fighting parts when the corsairs attacked because of all the killing. It was really cool to see the otters shoot arrows and to watch the corsirs fall. I also liked the part when Martin spoke to Tansy in her dream when they were finding the last pearl. That is a strange part because Martin is a spirit and that involves with superstitions from the ther Redwall books. That is what I like about the book.
What I didn't like about the book was the talking parts which seemed to me, very boring. It seems kind of annoying after a while, but I read it anyway to try to pedict what would happen next. These parts were what I hated the most. I like action and that's why I don't like talking parts. This was what I didn't like about the book.

Summary: Pearls of Lutra a truly magic journey to the Land of Redwall
Review: Having just started my journey into the series called Redwall, Pearls of Lutra is my 9th read after Redwall, Mattimeo, Mossflower, Martin the Warrior, Outcast of Redwall, Mariel of Redwall,& The Bellmaker. Now like all Redwall books I have read, It started innocently enough, but then escalated into a plot so thick that you really had to pay attention in order to keep up during the ride, which made a very refreshing read and even made you think to solve the many riddles involved into finding the Pearls of Lutra. My favorite character was Grath Lutra, whose family was massacred when the evil Mad Eyes sent a crew to steal the Pearls of Lutra, I found that by the end of the book, I thought of them not as animals but as people and I was ready to aid them in the fight for good. Some old characters appear, like Martin, Mattimeo's son, also you meet the current Abbot, Skipper, and even a Long Patrol hare. I would, in closing, highly suggest The Pearls of Lutra fo anyone, young or old for an escape from reality.

Summary: Pearls of Lutra, a good read
Review: This book, by Brian Jacques, is one of the many Redwall series books using animals as the main characters. In this particular Redwall book vicious pirates stole six priceless pearls from Lutra, an otter settlement. All otters, save one were murdered. The remaining otter vows vengeance; and sets off to track down the sea pirates that killed her family. So along the way, she meets a group of Redwallers, who are searching for their abbot, and the story goes on from there. Most of this book I liked, and there were great scenes of food and feasts that made my mouth water. Another thing I liked was that the characters weren't always peaceful. Martin, the Redwall warrior actually went into rages of war lust, which is unusual in fantasy books, for the main characters often will only fight in self-defense. That made the characters seem more real. The one aspect of the book I didn't like were the parts when the characters would start a ballad or talk with poems. Those parts seemed to go on forever. I usually skipped those parts (which sometimes went on for more than a page) and went on to the action scenes usually soon after. Overall, this book was interesting, and if you're a fan of the Redwall series, or just like fantasy stories, this will be a good read.

Summary: The Dubbiuns Rock!
Review: I read Redwall alot, and this is my favorite. I love Arven the Dubbiun (i'm a likkle maggit..) Unlike some of the other books, this one has a lot of Dubbiuns in it. I love the Dubbiuns, so cute.. Anyway, this book is about the quest for the six rose colored pearls, better known as the Tears of The Sea. Mad Eyes, the main villan ( why are all the head hanco ba guys insane?!?!?), is after the pearls, and the Redwallers must get them back an return them to Holt Lutra. ( where the otters are from) Its' a great book, its got all the good charaters in it, Dubbiuns, otters, hares, & Log-a-log. Theres a suprise at the end, that i wasn't exscepting, but i won't give it away. Read it! Just one thing Mr. Jaques,no offence, but are you obsessed with death? you seem to kill my favorite charaters alot. REDWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAALL!

Summary: Find The Pearls Of Lutra
Review: This was one of the best Redwall books that I have ever read. It was a lot more action packed than the others except - of course - Marlfox. I especially liked it when
Grath Longfetch, the last member of the Lutra Holt of otters, was killing off some searats that were coming ashore.
Martin the Warrior the Second, son of Matimeo and grandsire is Mattiais, is the defender of Redwall. Tansy the hogmaid and Avren the squirrel dibbun went into Mossflower woods in search of some herbs. They stumbled upon a dead weasel named Graylunk. That's when the search for the Tears Of The Ocean start. Lord Ublaz, ruler of Sampetra, wants the pearls to put into his crown. He sends forces to Mossflower. Abbot Durral and Viola the bankvole are eating a picnic lunch out of Redwall's walls. They are captured by the enemy. Martin along with the shrew, Guosom, and a Holt of otters head to the sea. They get to Sampetra and set most of the fleet on fire excluding Freebooter. That's when the fight begins.
I think if I should recommend this book to anyone, it would be old or young. Because it has action and adventure with a good twist at the end.

Summary: An excite squel
Review: In Pearls of lutra the evil Pim martin Ulba Madeyes is seek seven perals that he stole from and ottter hord he slaughtered. He tracks the perals to the abby. Where his montro lizard capture Rollo who is no the Abbey Recorder.

Martin the son of Mattimeo must embark on his quest to rescue there beloved recorder. This book is full of action and graphic battles. The must solve the clues to find and locate the seven perals that the vermin brought into Redwall.

A good buck with lots of action there was one part I did not like. When Skipper of the otters order Saint Nina Church to be burned to the ground. Other than this the book is fine.
