Review: i wish we would have had a book like this in the late 70's /early 80's when i was in junior/senior high school. this book will help so many kids with questions/problems that they do not yet feel comfortable speaking with their friends and family about. don't worry gurls-you'll love talking about all things with your gurlfriends as you get older! this book is perfect. and take this advise to heart-these chick's know what's up. way to go rebecca!

Review: This book "Deal With It!" Is an information manuel on how to find an abortion clinic, diagnose your own sexually transmitted diseases, and its a how to manual on lesbian sex acts. NOT a good choice for anyone. No parent should purchase this book for their children, rather they should sit them down and explain these things to them. Sometimes "read the book" dosen't work.

Review: Wow! I'm 22 and haven't been introduced to some of the subject matter in this book! Well, I have BY NOW, but only thru MY OWN xploration. For instance, we don't quite cover female masturbation in health class, even tho it should B made clear that it is a normL, healthy event. When I have a daughter of my own, U'd better believe this book will B waiting on her bookshelf when she hits about 12!! This book will help foster self-esteem, independence, and self-confidence. Review: My mom bought me this book with hesitation. But now she is borrowing it from me because she is learning from it too! I love the unimposing facts, the brilliant illustrations, the quotes from gURL connection members. I think they used one of mine, but I don't remember anymore. I'm only 14 and I'll bet that I know more then my crotchety old phys ed teacher.

The information is presented in a funny, up-beat manner and it covers just about everything...every question i had about my brain, body and life was answered. I really enjoyed it, i hope you do too!

Review: I recently bought this book and was amazed by it! I can't believe how appealing this book is! It's not one of those things that you have to read, but don't want to! The only downside is that some of the stuff inside might not be good for younger girls.

Review: Deal With IT! is a good book for teen girls to read who are interested in learning more about their bodies. The book, which is lavishly illustrated, covers skin care, sex, eating disorders, emotional turmoil, peer pressure and mental and physical abuse. Moreover, I really liked it cuz there are lots of personal narratives throughout the book. There's no technical jargon. It's like what your older sister would tell you, if she knew EVERYTHING in the world. A definite must-read for teen girls and anyone interested in learning more about growing up female.

Review: i just got DEAL WITH IT and it is great! not preachy at all, instead of having people stand up on pedestals and say 'THIS IS HOW YOU SHOULD LIVE,' it uses real girls' posts from real girls' lives to show you that there's no one way to live your life. it's funny and smart and it doesn't talk down to us, or talk to us in some weird form of english that older people seem to think is 'teenspeak.'
