Rating: Summary: Let The Circle Be Unbroken Review: Recently in my reading class, we read the book LET THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN by Mildred Taylor.I really liked this book. Mildred Taylor used tons of detail. My favorite part in the book is when the Logans found Stacy. It was so heartwarming and I almost cried. I think that if others would like to read this book they should read ROLL OF THUNDER, HEAR MY CRY first. This book shows the relationship between whites and blacks in the 1930's. This is one of the best books I've ever read.

Rating: Summary: Let the Circle Be Unbroken Review: Let the Circle Be Unbroken, by Mildred Taylor is a great book. I like this book because it has a lot of tragities, riots, and cliffhanggers. This book takes place at Stawberry, Mississippi in the 1930's. The book is told by an 11 year old girl named Cassie Logan. One chapter that is very heartbreaking is the chapter where Stacy's good friend T.J. served the death penalty for being accused of murdering a white man. Another good chapter is when Suzella, a mixed girl, comes in town and flirts with a white boy making him believe that she is also white. I recommend this book to people that like history or people that would like to know more about what happend durring discrimination. The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it call blackes ni**ers. Overall this was a great book.

Rating: Summary: World`s Stupidest Book!!!!! Review: Let the Circle be Unbroken is a novel by Mildred D. Taylor, and I believe it is worse than its predecessor, Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry. If you like books with things like missing people, trials, and things like that I highly recomend this book. But if you like books based on a cartoon series, movies, or a normal T.V. series, I do NOT recomend this book AT ALL!It takes place in the 1930`s when there was still segregation and the Jim Crow Laws. As you may know, this takes place 30 years before Martin Luther King Jr. was even born.I extremely HATE this book!!!!Do NOT buy this!!!
Rating: Summary: A pretty-good book Review: Recently, My reading class had to read the novel "Let The Circle Be Unbroken" by Mildred Taylor. I thought this book was very historical since it was in Mississippi, in the 1930's. They tell of all the conflicts that happened in the story, such as racial conflicts between blacks and whites. My opinion is that the racial issues in this story, make the book a lot less good. Otherwise, this book would be wonderful.
Rating: Summary: An O.K. sort of book! Review: Recently the book,"Let The Circle Be Unbroken," by Mildred Taylor was read. In my opinion it was a wonderful novel. The reason I like this story so much is because, the was all of the details and words fall right into place and describe things in just the right order. If it were me I would only recommend this book to only children that are nine years and older because they would learn how things worked in the 1930's, also how people suffered slavery and emotional problems:

Rating: Summary: Let the Circle Be Unbrocken Review: Let the Circke Be Unbrocken by Mildred Taylor is as good as Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry.It gives decise detail about what black people went thruogh in the 1930's. One of the best chapters I think is the T.J Avery trial. It gave decise detail about the trial and it seems like you are there. I also liked the riot in Strawberry. It also gave decise detail of what happened, and when Ms.Lee Annie tried to vote and then the riot happened. It was a good idea. I thought finding Stacey at the end was an exellent way to end the story. I would recamend this to anybody, but I would suggest readin Roll Of Thrunder Hear My Cry First.
Rating: Summary: Let The Circle Be Unbroken Review: Recently me and my class mates read a book by Mildred Tatlor called let the circle be unbroken. I really liked this book because it really does state true things that could really have happened in life. And also because it is very realistic. I like the book beginning to end especially about the T.J. Avery trial, it was written very clearly so you can imagine expereicing the tragical trial. I also like the part about Suzella, Cousin's Bud daugters arrival. She trys to act white and her father has to face the consequences.
