Summary: mr. Xs secret review
Review: the book started off like none other,it was fast exilerating and didnt want to slow down.this book was probably the best book i ever read.it starts off with the kids on the phenox cruise sail boat taking on heavy waves and weather. then goes to the begining where the kids are getting on the sail boat in guam.
all of the kids in there parents eyes or in the eyes of the law have been bad kids.the boat trip is supposed to last one month and teach the bad kids to be better again.

Summary: Pool Side Book Club - Nat
Review: The Island Series is very good. For example, in the first book six kids start on a boat and end up somewhere unexpected. Don't ask why. Anyway, I'll just give more examples. Like in the third book, the kids have to do surgery on Will's leg while something 'big' is going on.

It is a good series. However, DO NOT read one book. I repeat, DO NOT read one book. If you do it will leave you with tons of questions.

Summary: Keeps You on the Edge and Wanting More
Review: These are great books. I read them a chapter a night to my third grade son at bedtime. He was always begging me to read an extra chapter or two. I had to fight to keep from cheating and reading ahead myself! Action, suspense, danger, and colorful characters makes these books a must have for anyone with young kids. We are reading the "Everest" series now and they are another superb set. The reasonable price makes getting these books a no brainer.

Summary: Great Book
Review: This was a good book.I enjoied reading this book even though it was so short.Gordon Korman is a good author. He leaves you in suspense waiting to read the next chapter. These six kids are sailing on a boat and wreck because of Ratface. They have to use their witts to survive. This book does have boring parts though. This is a great book and I reccomend it to anyone who liked Hatchet.I give it 4-stars.

Summary: great adventure yarn
Review: This was fun, and I am an adult reader of childrens books. Definately buy this as a box set, since each individual book would leave you in suspense waiting for the next book. Authentic nautical terms, gives a good feeling of life on the boat. Very authentic about conditions on an island if you are a shipwreck victem. Interesting characters, not cliche. You will feel for these teens. Also be sure to check out the web site listed at the end of each book that tells more about the storie. Nice box, nice presentation. I read all 3 books over 3 consecutive nights, I could not put them down. Nice ending, wraps it all up.
