Review: A very good series - shipwrecked on an island with an atomic bomb! If I were you I would buy this series right now!!! It made me feel like I was there. When the smugglers shot their guns I could hear it in my head. Anyway, this is a really good series.

Review: I liked this book because it had a meaning to it. I liked the characters and the action. The suspense made me want to read more and more. It wasn't as long as I thought it would be, but it was a great book. It was very interesting. I want to read the other two. This is the best book that I have ever read. It was fun to read! I would recommend this book to anybody. The author was great. I loved this book!

Review: I think the Island Series books are good. These books tell about adventure, bravery, sneakiness and mystery. A 1st book example of bravery: everybody trying to pump water out of the boat to stop it from sinking. The 3rd book also shows alot of bravery. Example: J.J. sneaking into the smuggler's plane so they can get off the island and contact the police. A 2nd book example of mystery: Why are the smugglers there? An example of adventure: every minute they are on the island.

Overall these books are great. Checking out.

Review: I though that this book was very detailed. Also very informing and well plotted. I liked the fact that each character was very different but all related because of "Charting a New Course". I was delighted to find that the twist of Captain Cascadden death also invited the dissapearance of Mr. Radford. The fire on the Phoenix was predictable but the loss of Lyssa and J.J. was never expected by me. I enjoyed the end of the book because it kind of left you hanging until the next book. I rated this book a 3/5 because most of the story was predictable but some of it left you on the edge of your seat.

Review: Island was a all right book. I did not like this book because this book had no magic like wand or wizards and no real exciting parts in it. I did like this book because it had a good meaning to it and it uses life skill's in it.It uses life skills like courage, and responsibility. The reason I gave it a *** is because it was kind of dull and then when the big storm came it was kind of exciting.I would recommended this book to only people that like survival books and people that like to really really read. Out of 4 people in my reading group 2 out of 4 liked this book and the others did not like this book. [I was told] not to be mean but next time you write a book like island, you should get better people to put on the book like me and some of my friends.Anyways your book was pretty good and my friend ... told me that your 2nd and 3rd book of island was better, so I might read the others and do another report on them. If you read my report, thanks. That's the end of my report thanks.

Summary: I love "Island" very much!!!
Review: it is a book related to cooperation, equality, respect, friendship, uniqueness, love, growth, you name it.
although people have different talents, they are one.
just like our bodies, we have hands, ears, eyes, hearts, feet, etc.
they have different functions, but they are one.
all of them are equally important.
the book taught me a lot.
my favorite character is Richie Rich. a funny nickname...
sounds like he is not special, but he IS special in some way.
you will know it in the end.

Review: My name is Justin I am in fifth grade, and the book I am reading is Island. The book Island is an excellent book! The author of this book is Gordon Korman. If you like fiction books you would like the book Island! The book takes place on an uncharted island, with a group of 6 kids trying to survive by working together.

The kids are on a boat to be taught a lesson for being bad. Their boat crashes because of a terrible storm. The boat gains water and capsizes. All of the kids have to swim to shore. They have to survive by helping others to remain healthy and to keep alive. They have to find there own food and shelter and heat.

I think the book is exciting and interesting, because of all of the adventure. When I first started reading this book I couldn't put it down. I got two of my friends to start to read it, and they said they like it so far. If you like a lot of adventure you would like this book! It is so good that it makes you feel like you are in the book with the people. Ever since I read this book I wanted to read more. I hope you read and enjoy this book Island. When you are done reading this book you should inspire your friends to read this book. This book kid of teaches you how to survive.

Summary: Better than Harry Potter
Review: Picture this. Cast Away, with a touch of James Bond and then a lot of the Olimpics. Add it together, adn you get the ISLAND series.
I loved thiese books. Fromt he moment Luke (main character) gets on the book, I was hooked onto the books. If I could, I would give the review seven stars.
These six kids are shipwrecked on an island, by the fault of the bad guy, Radford a.k.a. Ratface. Once there, they discover that they are not alone and that there are bad guys, worse that then Ratface, holding an illegal smuggling system on the island.
Also the characters are running out of food, are lost, tired and one of them has amnesia.
And just for the heck of it, Korman threw in a bomb. ot a live one, ready to blow them up, but the third bomb from WWII.
Eventually, they get off, but its a real surprise how. The characters have never ending personalities and great desprictions. My favortie is the athlectic Charla and brainy Ian. This series I nominated for the best book award at my school. Its that good.
