Review: A spiffing good read old bean. Brian Jaques gets better as he writes more books.his first few were wonderfull, but his later few,"Pearls of Lutra", "Outcast of Redwall", and "the Long Patrol" really have every thing you need to have a simply spectaculer book

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: One of the better books in the Redwall series.
Review: In the series it is probably #5 out of the ten books. Though it is a good book it is certainly worth reding but, not the best book he has ever written.

Summary: An Excellent book!!! You won't be able to put it down!
Review: Another masterpeice! The Long Patrol is an exciting book of courage. The young Tammo who dreams of being apart of the Long Patrol sets out to make his dream come true. On the way he finds out what war is like when him and his new found friends, the long patrol, help to defend Redwall Abby in a desperate time of need. The Long Patrol is a fantastic book and I think that any one of any age should read it.

Summary: Jacques is on a roll with the Long Patrol
Review: I have only begun to read this book but almost instantly I was hooked. This book as in all of his books is great. I have read all of his books at least twice. They are a great read and are easily read. Jacques's style of writing is so enticing that his books are readable at all levels. I strongly suggest you read this book and all of his others they will keep you hooked for sure.

Summary: Jolly good read, what-what?
Review: Hello out there, fellow Redwall reading chappies! I'm sure that most of you fine fellows share my excellent taste, and agree that this is a jolly spiffing book. Fast action, riddles, prophecies, romance, and of course, the gallant Long Patrol hares. Only one thing. Tansy, Cracklyn and Butty solved that riddle far too quickly. There should have been a lot more, jolly brain-challenging riddles for them to solve. Apart from that, I loved this book! All of you classy chaps and chappesses will enjoy it as much as I did. Toodle-pip! (Don't worry, I don't normally talk like this.)

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fast-paced, action-packed; all-in-all, a masterpiece!!
Review: Brian Jaques does it again as he writes out his 10th volume of Redwall. I must say that if you love Redwall, YOU SHOULD NOT MISS THIS ONE!! Excellently written, lots of action, memorable characters --especially Tammo-- and an engaging plot line will keep you reading and wondering.

People say that this is a reading level 9-12 years old. I disagree!! I'm 15 and think that even adults would enjoy these books greatly!! Don't miss this one!!!

Summary: A Review and Summary of The Long Patrol
Review: The Long Patrol is a book of courage and heroism. The main character is the young hare Tammo, who fantasizes being a great warrior with The Long Patrol, like his father was. Unfortunately, Tammo's father is horribly strict and keeps Tammo at home. Tammo feels like he is trapped and needs to escape. With the help of his mother and a squirrel warriormaid named Russa Nodrey, he runs away from home.

Near the seas, the evil Rapscallion horde led by the greatrat Damug Warfang seeks plunder and riches. Damug finds his prize and takes his Rapscallion army to conquer it. His prize: the peaceful Redwall Abbey.

Meanwhile, at the mountain Salamandastron, the badger Lady Cregga Rose Eyes learns of the evil which is on its way to Redwall. She takes her troops to go after the Rapscallions who are nearing Redwall Abbey.

The armies finally clash and the battle begins. Tammo has his chance to prove himself worthy of being a warrior.

This book is action-packed and exciting. After reading this book I could only be impatient for the 11th book in the series, Marlfox, to come out in the United States. This book, like the others in the Redwall series, is definitely worth more than five stars.
