Summary: Great book!
Review: Tamello De Fformello Tussock (Tammo for short) dreams of joining the famous Long Patrol, a group of hares who protect the land and their mountain, Salamandastron.Unfortunately, he continues to get into trouble and his father completely forbids Tammo in letting him join the Long Patrol. Tammo, with the help of his mother, runs away to Salamandastron to become one of the Long Patrol with a squirrel traveler whose name is Russa Nodrey.

Soon, they get ambushed by a group of Rapscallions, an evil bunch of rats and Russa and Tammo are captured. They are rescued by 11 Long Patrol hares.Together, they pursue the Rapscallions to Redwall.

Meanwhile, another stronger and bigger group of Rapscallions are attaking Redwall. Their leader is Damug. The 11 Long Patrol hares are hopelessly outnumbered and the peaceful Redwall creatures does not have much warrior animals.

Will they get any help from the ruler or Salamandastron who is Lady Cregga Rose Eyes and her hares? Will Redwall be captured by Rapscallions?

This book was great! I loved it from the start, though I think one part wasn't necessary. If you like this, you'll love "Lord Brocktree"!!

Summary: Great battle/adventure story!
Review: Mr. Jacques once again unravells a great tale of battle, adventure, and courage. The hares of the Long Patrol are fierce, cunning good guys who fight a war of amazing odds, which kept my hands on the book until I finished(and should do the same to you). This book was great because Brian creates a huge, fascinating world within your mind that makes it feel as though the sudden clangs of the swords are happening beside you. This is what I think as one of his best works, though his other books are all great, too. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has already started reading the series, and I know you will like it. If you have never read any of his other books before, I suggest you start! Oh, hear is a list of the books in the way I recommend you read them: Redwall, Mariel of Redwall, Mossflower, The Bellmaker, Mattimeo, The Outcast of Redwall, Martin the Warrior, Salamandastron, Pearls of Lutra, The Long Patrol, Marlfox (Coming Soon), Legend of Luke (Coming Soon), Lord Brocktree (Coming Soon)

Summary: My Favorite One!
Review: This is the greates Redwall book to ever come out. The beginning has a young hare called Tammo who runs away from home to as the book suggests, fight with the long patrol, comprised of elite fighting hares. He dashes off with the squirrel, Russa Nodrey, and has many adventures. However, as always, there is a evil warlord that is trying to become the ruler of the world. This warlord is none other then the greatrat Damug Warfang. WIth a thousand at his back, he plans to kill, plunder, and conquer. It is up to Tammo and the long patrol to stop this great army from reaching the gates of Redwall. Meanwhile, at Redwall, the south wall is collapsing! This book is, as i have already said, my favorite one in the whole series. It has action, and the riddles that are famous of Jacques.

Summary: ok good book
Review: This book is about a hare named Tammo. He wanted to be in a group of highly praised hares called the Long Patrol. The long patrol is a bunch of skilled hares that defend a huge mountain called Salamandastron; this is also where they live. A squirrel named Russa Nordry is taking Tammo to be in the Long Patrol. He gets with the Long Patrol and there is only a small group of them. They are going to Redwall abbey to help them from the big army come to the abbey. The abbey is full of peace-loving creatures such as; mice otters, and moles. Before the war the abbey has gone through problems. To find out more and what happens to Redwall, read the book.
Some things I liked about the book were that it had a lot of action and action and suspense throughout the whole book, especially at the last battle at the end of the book. Many events take place during it making it a very suspenseful book. There is many more things I liked about this book, but I can't tell you all of them.
Some bad things about the book are: it's only a type of book for people who like war. It also took a long time to pick up. There was barely any action at first, but when it picked up it got really good.
This is a good book and I recommend it to people who like suspense, war, and action.

Summary: One of Jacques best! A great addition to the Redwall Series
Review: In this, the tenth book in the Redwall series, a young hare named Tammello De Fformelo Tussock (Tammo for short) leaves home to find adventure in the famous Long Patrol. During his travels with the squirrel, Russa Nodrey, he joins the famous hares in a desparate mission to save the Abbey of Redwall from a yet another vermin horde threatening the peaceful woodland creatures. However, this time there's a glitch in Jacques usual pattern: The south wall is falling down. Jacques again uses his masterful recipe for excelent and fantastic storytelling to create one of the best in the series yet. With "Pearls of Lutra," Jacques finally created a sequel to his best, Mattimeo. This sequel to "Pearls of Lutra" is well worth reading, more than once. Brian Jacques is easily one of the greatest story tellers, and the greatest English fantasy writer since Tolken.

Summary: Jolly good!
Review: I love the Redwall series, and I mean that I love every book in it. This one, however, is my favorite. I think that the hares are my favorite group of characaters in Jacques' books and since this book centered around the elite fighting unit known as The Long Patrol, it makes sense that this is my favorite. You can't help but fall in love with Tammo and Russa as they make their way to Redwall and it's famed fare. And Damug Warfang is one of those villains that you just love to hate. Redwall fan or not, this book is totally great!

Summary: Move over Watership down
Review: This action pack book is the squeel to Mattimeo and Pearls of Lutra and Red Wall. A young rabit runs away from home to join the Long Patrol. They engage in epic battles aganist the evil Raspcallian army. The main villian is not as well protrayed as the others were.

Your favorite charactes such as the Guosim return. No abbey warrior in this one that has a large roll. Martin of Redwall is now dead. Rollo is no longer the recorder.

A good with lots of swash buckling. I you like adventure I suggest you read this and the other 15 books in the series.

Summary: The Long Patrol
Review: The books in the series of Redwall are wonderful. The Long Patrol is one of my favorites its got action, adventure, and all the other things you could want in a book.Amazing character expression makes you feel like you're in the book as the perilous unit of long patrol hares sets out to rid Mossflower of Damug Warfang's Rapscallion army in one of the biggest battles Redwall has ever faced. As they go many are lost many are gained. A young hare,Tammo, goes through many hardships as he becomes one of the greatest Long Patrol hares of all time.Being 11 I love these books and would classify this as one of the best books I've ever read.I encourage everyone to read these books.

Summary: All the same
Review: I loved the first redwall book but then i went on with the series, and every book is the same story. Even the little details like bloodwrath badger lords always dreaming about a villian and a young mouse, hare, etc. that is becoming a warrior. Although I'd give this about 4 stars, it was to familiar a story. They added in Camp Tussick, the little ridge, and the whole long patrol in its self. Once again the bloodwrath came back in, and the young hero, and all the riddles and songs. Otherwise it was nearly as good as the first book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: well written and fast moving
Review: This book is fast moving packed with action and suspense, another great book of the sieries. A great battle as usual, a dispisable villain, loyalty, bravery, treachory, and good hard fast moving packed action.
