Rating: Summary: The Best Review: For some second place int good enough. And for Brian Jacquesitisnt. The battle scenes are riveting, the feasts, mouthwatering. After you read Redwall nothing will ever be quite the same ...
Rating: Summary: The Bellmaker Review: I have read almost all of the books in the Redwall series and I have to say that the Bellmaker has been my favorite so far. My favorite feature is that Mr. Jacques tied in many of the characters into this book that he used in Mariel of Redwall. It made the book even better because I found it exciting that I was already familiar with many of the characters. I can't tell you much about the story line, but I will tell you that this book is totally enthralling to the very end. I would suggest reading Mariel of Redwall first so you will be familiar with the characters and see what happens to them. Definitely a must read!
Rating: Summary: The Bellmaker Review: Hi I read "The Bellmaker". I thought that this bookwas very cool. It had lots of action and fantasy. It was coolbecause there were three little stories that became one big story. Then it went on from there. I fully recommend this book to everyone.
Rating: Summary: Foxwolf vs Southsword Review: I believe that The Bellmaker is a wonderful quest to find twocourageous young Redwallers. On the way they meet Bowly Pintips,Egbert, Muta, Gaul, Serena, Truffin, Furpp, Iris, Meldrum, Rab and others. This saga is a wonderful opportunity to find friendships, hatred, fear, sadness, happiness and bravery. If you are thinking of reading this book, I, like molebabe, say "Redwaaaaaaaaallllll!"
Rating: Summary: why would you read these? Review: hEy this review is not only for the bellmaker, but for all of the redwall series, i have read them all. If anyone out there thinks brian jaqcues is a great author, think again. these books are all the same, same plotline, same elements, you read one , you read them all. And I also think that he overuses a lot of stuff, like the molespeech, and the bloodwrath. Lets try and keep some realism in this, how could a mouse ever kill a fox, it's impossible, but it happens often, the only book that was good at all, was salamandastron. After reading this review, i hope you will come to your senses and realize that he is not a master of fantasy, more like of immature, childrens books, for fantasy, it is tolkien all the way, the lord of the rings!
Rating: Summary: REDWALLLL CHARGE! I LOVE THIS BOOK! EULALIAAAAA! Review: I LOVE THIS BOOK! It is the best one of the Redwall books I've read so far! Okay, this mousemaid Maril, is looking for adventures with her compaions, Dandin & Bowely in a huge wasteland, far from Hers and Dandins home, Redwall Abbey. They find out that a foxwolf ( a fox who killed a wolf)is ruleing the land of Southsward very unfairly. They try to stop him but they get captured by him. Back at Redwall, Maril's father, Joseph, decides to look for her, because she's been gone a long time. It's a very GOOOD book!
Rating: Summary: Not the best, but still okay. Review: This book, for some reason, did not live up to my expectations for a Redwall book. Even though it had great characters, great action scenes, but not a good enough plot to support them. I still would reccomend almost any one of the Redwall books, but this is an exception to the "almost any one".
Rating: Summary: THE BELLMAKER! A BOOK YOU WILL LOVE! WON'T STOP READING! Review: Hello My name is Heidi and I want to tell you a little about this book. The Bellmaker was a great book. This book is a fictoin book about a badger,a mole and a mouse. All 3 of them form a army of different animals that all get along in the battles they fight for land or a place to live. They travel by boat and walk on land. The reson I liked this book is because it had a lot of adventure. I would recommend this book to ANY ONE who likes to feel like they are with the charectors in the book. THIS BOOK WAS A GREAT BOOK! PLEASE READ IT! YOU WILL LOVE IT!
Rating: Summary: Redwaaaaaaaaallllllll! This book was awsome! Review: This is the 5th Redwall book I have read. I like all of the books so far, and I would rate them all 5's, but this one is one of the better one's to me. The Bellmaker had an excellent plot and an excellent cast of characters. I like how Brian Jaques knows how to catch a readers attention and keep their attention till the book is done. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and I didn't want to put it down. I would recommend this book to anybody who likes adventures, and I don't just mean kids. This is a must reader if you like the Redwall series. I would also recommend reading Salamandastron and Mattimeo because these books are equally good.
Rating: Summary: The Best Redwall Book So Far Review: I've read every single redwall book, from Redwall, to The Legend of Luke, and this one has to be the best. I love all the characters, expecially Joseph, Rufe, Hon Rosie, Mariel, and that Hare guy. (Notice i named about half of the main characters) There's just so much to love. The characterization is sound, and the dialouge is witty. This book is just great.
