Summary: Whatever Happened To Janie
Review: The plot of WHATEVER HAPPENED TO JANIE by CAROLINE B. COONEY is very interesting because it gives the reader a realistic sense of what its like to live with your real family when youve been living your whole life with another family. Thats what happened to Janie Johnson. When she looked on the faces of missing children on the milk carton and saw a familiar face of a little girl who had been kidnapped twelve years ogo from a shopping mallwhen she was 3 and that realized that it was her! She was overcome with shock! Where the Johnsons the kidnappers? Summary: What else would you read?
Review: If you haven't read this, or any other of the Redwall books, your lost. You call yourself a book lover? =) I read Harry Potter and thought those were good, well then I found the Redwall Books. Best of all: the author is still alive and writing! Even if you're over 12 you'll like them. I can't see a reason not to!

Summary: Redwall series- The Bellmaker
Review: I don't understand why people like Redwall so much. Once you've read about three of them you get to realize that the plots are very similar. Redwall was good, that doesn't mean he has to write 12 more! All featuring annoying mice who always win against the rats never losing a important character or even taking many casualties. It's all white and black with no sublety. and these books are so famous? You should read Robin Jarvis's books, who I notice are now being marketed as 'in the tradition of Redwall' although they were published before most of the Redwall books! I don't understand it.

Summary: OK Book, definitely not one of Jacques' best
Review: I have become a big fan of Brian Jacques. I have read all of the books in the Redwall series except for two: Legend of Luke and Lord Brocktree. I just started reading them this September. I have loved almost all of them. This one was definitely not one of my favorites. I dont want to spoil this book, so I will not write anymore.

Summary: Bellmaker
Review: This book is about Joeseph, the Bellmaker, and a dream that he visulizes. Martian the Warrior is in the dream telling Joeseph that his daughter Mariel and her friend Dandin are in trouble. After having to solve riddles Martin gives Joeseph he must use those to chose the four others, and they must sail southwest to rescue her from the evil Urgan Nagru and his horde. They run into new friends and enemys on the way. Mariel and Dandin also meet new people as they try to escape not knowing they shall be rescued. In this book there is also a sorta background plot. Earlier when Joeseph had "borrowed" a ship from a searat Slipp, Slipp had found is way back to Redwall to find gold.

Summary: An epic tale of good vs. evil.
Review: "Before the legend, before the glory, The Bellmaker's dream foretold the story. Five will ride the Roaringburn, But only four will e'er return."

Within the safety found in Redwall, Joseph the Bellmaker begins to miss his daughter, Mariel, who has gone off with her close friend, Dandin, to right any wrong they can find. So it comes that Joseph is visited by the guiding spirt of Redwall, Martin the Warrior. Martin tells Joseph where to find his daughter and who to bring with him in his upcoming journey, but all this done in the form of rhyme and puzzle. The puzzle is soon solved, and it is clear that they must go by sea to the south; there he will find his daughter.

Meanwhile, to the south of Redwall, Mariel and Dandin have discover a fox tyrant who has seized control of a peaceful squirrel family's castle and enslaved them, but thanks to a carefully devised plan by a band of otters, they freed the family but not with out loss. The fearless otter-chieftain and the badgermaid of the family stayed behind to stop the oncoming pursuers. After much recruiting on both sides, they prepare for journey and battle...

This is a very good book, but is very predicable. In the book there is too much good despite the very evil villains. Nonetheless, this is a good book for action and drama.

Summary: A Must Read
Review: This book is such a great book. Joseph the Bellmaker a resident of Redwall Abbey, encounters Martin the Warrior in a dream. He learns that his daughter, Mariel the Warriormouse, is in trouble and that he must journey to the land of Southsward to save her and her friend Dandin. He travels with the ferocious sea otter Finnbar Galedeep as they race to save Mariel and Dandin from the evil foxwolf Urgan Nagru and his mate Silvamord and their hordes of rats, ferrets, weasels and stoats.

Another example of Brian Jacques amazing story telling abilities, The Bellmaker is a story which will keep the reader on the edge of his or her seat. I would recommend this book to anybody who likes adventure ,fantasy, and riddles in their books. A real must read book.

Summary: Lord Brocktree
Review: The Redwall series is an excellent source to get young children picking up the books instead of the remote. I have two boys and these are the first books that I've bought for them that I'm not fighting with them to read. I definately give Author Brian Jacques a pat on the back. "Lord Brocktree" is our latest purchase, along with "The Bellmaker"' and "The Long patrol." Mother of two big time RedWall fans.

Summary: The Bellmaker makes for an amazing book
Review: The Bellmaker is an excellent adventure book and definitely oneof the best Redwall books written. The characters are interesting, asis the storyline, while the fast pace makes it a hard book to put down. I would most definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in either Redwall books or just a very interesting story.

Summary: ANOTHER AWESOME REDWALL BOOK
Review: The Bellmaker is another wonderful Redwall book. Everything I like in books is in it- action adventure, fighting, and much more.

This book gets you hooked right from the start. Chapter 3 (the chapters are farely short), really gets you wanting to read more, as the prisoners escape from their captured castle, owned by the vicious Foxwolf, the Urgan Nagru. Mariel and Dandin, Redwall warriors adventuring in the south get captured by Foxwolf.

In Redwall Abbey, Joseph the Bellmaker, Mariel's father, has a dream and comes down with four others to save his son. After an amazing escape, the fugitives gather up their puny forces to defeat the mighty hordes of rats and Foxwolf himself.Wan't to know the result's? It'll surprise you, for sure.

Jauques writes a wonderful book, with lovable characters, lots of surprises, exciting actions, plenty of humor, amazing feats, unpredictable outcomes, and lots of adventure, fighting, and everything you could want in a book. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK FOR ANYONE.
