Rating: Summary: WOW! this was a good book... Review: I am trying to read all of the Redwall books, and have so far read Mossflower,RedWall, and The Bellmaker, of which i think i like the Bellmaker the best... It goes into detail about the adventures of Mariel and her friends in Mossflower and in the castle Floret. and about Joseph the Bellmaker and his friends in their quest to liberate Mossflower Wood of the evil Urgan Nagru. The carachters were well thought and the story line is very exciting, and in-depth... A real page-turner...
Rating: Summary: Triumphant! Review: The Bellmaker is a story of war, betrayal, friendship. But above all, it is a story of the continuous struggle between the forces of good and evil. Brian Jacques, the renowned author of the REDWALL series, has weaved a nail-biting plot. In the Bellmaker, he twists together many plots and settings. These all come to a head in the fabled Battle of Southsward, which will decide the fates of thousands of woodlanders. And it is up to Joseph the Bellmaker, his daughters Mariel, Dandin the Warrior, and vengeful otter Finnbarr Galedeep, to see that good triumphs. The Bellmaker involves every aspect of good writing: good characters, a captiving and smooth-flowing plot, and the perfect setting of the oppressed land, Southsward.
