Summary: Homeward Bound
Review: In this book there were four children (Dicey 13, James 10, Maybeth 9, and Sammy 6). These children started in Proincetown, but their mother had driven them to Peewauket and had left them with little money and some food. They then started to go find their Aunt Cilla in Bridgport, CT. When they arrived in Bridgeport, instead of finding their aunt, they found their Cousin Eunice. They stayed there until Dicey found out about their grandmother. Again they started out to find another person that they were related to. The end you will have to find out on your own.
This was a very exciting book that I would recommend to any one.

Review: Homecoming was a wonderful story filled with excitement. It is about thirteen year old Dicey and her younger siblings James, Maybeth, and Sammy as they travel to find a home after their mother leaves them. This book is very realistic, the children have little money, often no food, and nowhere to sleep during their trip.I liked that the author was very descriptive when explaining the characters, even if some were not a big part of the story, I felt that I knew them.Another thing that I liked was that each of the Tillerman children had different personalities, they were all different and that kept the story interesting.

Summary: This is a Great Book!
Review: Homecoming is a really good book. It is about four children, Dicey, James, Maybeth, and Sammy, who are abandoned by their mentally ill mother in a shopping mall parking lot. Dicey, the oldest, leads her family to Bridgeport where their rich Aunt Cilla lives. When they get to Bridgeport they find that Aunt Cilla isn't rich and is dead. Their cousin Eunice takes them in because they are family. It isn't very safe for the Tillermans there because Sammy might get sent away, because he fights and Maybeth might get sent to a special school. I really liked the whole book, except for two of the characters- Mr. Rudyard and Cousin Eunice.

Review: Homecoming is a book I would want you to read because it's a good book and because it has a lot of adventure. It is about Dicey, Maybeth,James,and Sammy. Their mother leaves them in the car all alone so Dicey,James,Sammy,and Maybeth set off and they only have $11.00 and they spent $4.00 the first night and set off in to the night all alone from the car by the mall. There are some nice people and some bad people the nice people help them and some of the nice people are Will and Claire. You should read this book.

Summary: Far From Home
Review: The book HOMECOMING wasn't the best book I ever read, but it wasn't the worst. If you don't know, it's about four children, their mother left them and they are "far from home." The oldest is Dicey. Her siblings are James, Maybeth,children, and last, but not least there is Sammy. In the story, they try to find their way through many obstacles. There are also many helpful people.
I liked the book in some ways, and disliked the book in some ways. At some parts of the book I just wanted to keep on reading. At other parts, I fall asleep. I also liked the people they meet. I have one favorite . Grandma, she has a lot of ambition, and, like Dicey she is very determind.
As you read, I liked the book in some parts and I realy didn't in others.

Summary: ALL ALONE!
Review: The book was about kids (ages 13,10,8,6,) were left alone in the car, at a mall and their mom NEVER CAME BACK! I don't know why she would do such a thing! So they had to travel to where they were going by themselves. It was a VERY GOOD BOOK even though it is VERY LONG it is still good. It could come in handy if you ever had to survive alone. It was a GOOD BOOK but at the same time it kind of got boring. But I still think that if you read this book you will LOVE IT!

Review: I first read this book in the sixth grade. When I first started reading it I did not want to let go of it. I mean think of living on your own without a lot of money only, eleven dollars. And Dicey used the money wisely. Their Mom was messed up to leave her four children! Their mom said their car could not chug ten miles and they were going to thier Aunt Cila's in Bridgeport and they lived in Provencetown 1,000 miles away! And why would she leave them in a shopping mall That's stupid. If I was here I would leave them in the house with all my money and have the car full with gas so they could drive it. Hey they could break the law once in a blue moon. You should read this book.

Summary: Not Everyone Liked This Book
Review: I recently read "Homecoming". Most people liked the book but I didn't. Sure I thought it was interesting but in a different way. Ever since my sister talked about how uninteresting it was I hoped I wouldn't have to read it. In the begining their mom abandond them in a car and she says they're going to some aunt that sends them Christmas cards. Sure enough the oldest kid takes them to that aunt. There they find out they have a grandma. Yet again they travel on. They go to their grandma's (sounds familiar doesn't it). Over all this isn't the best book I've ever read.

Review: Four kids are abandoned in a car at a mall while there mom gos in. The kids only have eleven dollars, and have to travel seventy miles to their aunt's house. They find help on the way. One of the people they find takes them to their aunts, and then leaves them on the door step. Their aunt lets them stay but only four a while. Their aunt tells them about a grandma. A police officer finds their mom she is in a hospital in a catatonic state, that means that she dosent respond to anything. So they go to there grandmas house. Instead of going strat to grandmas they go to Annapolis. Witch puts them in a big problem. They have to cross a gigantic river.

Summary: THE BOOK I WANTED TO READ OVER AND OVER AGAIN
Review: Can you imagien what it would be like if your mother left you? Well if you can't I think you should read this book HOMECOMING. It all starts when Dicey is stuck with two little brothers and one little sister. With just $11.00 and they manage to get to Aunt Cilla's house. Wow! Taking care of three brothers and sisters. Can you ever even imagien taking care of your little brother when your just thirteen? I really like this book because you never know whats going to happen next. I would love it if you would read this book.
