Summary: Its Like Sleeping Pills
Review: At the start its good and i wanted to keep reading it but it got slow fast. It was draged out when they were walking. They could of talked to the cops and asked for a ride to any place they wanted or they could of found out were other peole from their were living. They had to walk insted, it took up atleast 100 pages. I think that if I drank 10 cups of coffe I would still fall asleep reading this book. And this book has one of the worst ending I have ever read. Read this book if you have a problem sleeping.

Summary: Homecoming
Review: I guess I liked the book Homecoming. I think it was unrealistic though. The kids only had eleven dollars and they survived one their own and then Dicey all of a sudden is making about thirty dollars a week. Anyway, it had a good plot, I guess. The ending was ridiculous though; very unrealistic. Sometimes it was unbearably long. I was relieved whenever I finished a chapter.
Cynthia Voigt still does have a talent. She wrote the book well and she developed the characters well also. The story is about four abandoned kids on their journey to find a place where they can call home.

Summary: Homecoming
Review: This book was exciting in the middle, but at the beginning and end it was a boring. In the beginning I thought I was reading the same pages over and over because it would say they they started to walk, then find a market, and find a place to eat. Also at the end it was a boring because everything turned out alright. It was very exciting when they were being chased by Mr. Rudyard. Finally, they should have met up with the father. This is a good book if you like long and sort of boring books.

Summary: A well descriptive book
Review: Homecoming was a well written book. It's about 4 kids who are abanded in a parking lot by the mall from their mom. It's about their fights and struggles just to stay alive and make it another day and hope to make it to aunt Cillia's house. There they find out that she's dead .
There Cousin Eunnice lives there though. They don't like living that boring life with Cousin Eunice so the kids move out again to there grandma's house. She doesn't wnt them to stay but she also does want them to stay. It's a fight to stay and she finally lets them stay. I reccomend this book to anyone who loves to get into a story and not put down a book when they like it. Also anyone who's a fast reader or who spends time reading because it's pretty long . It's in the 300 pages. If you read enoy your in for a long stay reading. (It's small print and 300 pages+)

Summary: Homecoming
Review: I had to read Homecoming for school. In the book, the mother leaves the four children, Dicey (13) James (10) Maybeth (9) and Sammy (6). The Tillerman children have to go out on there own so nobody splits them up. They journey to there Aunt Cilla's house, and then they go to the grandmother's house. I think that it was a good book and it was written well. I only gave it four stars because when there going to their aunt's house, the book is kind of boring. It gets better when they get to Aunt Cilla's house though. I recommend this book.

Summary: left alone... Abandoned
Review: This book captures your attention as soon as you read the first paragraph. Cynthia Voight really describes the story as clearly as she can. You feel as your the main character and most responsible for the kids. Dicey must provide for the three other siblings. Their mother leaves them all alone in the parking lot of a mall. They must travel to their Aunt Cilla's house in Bridgeport, miles away from their hometown in Provincetown. They have to walk and have little money. Money is their biggest problem. Dicey finds a way to save Maybeth, James, and Sammy. Her bravery and courage keeps the story strong.

Summary: Homecoming
Review: I think that Homecoming was a bad book. It was about a mother who goes crazy, and can't take care of her kids, so she abandons them in her car in a mall parking lot. Then the kids have to walk the rest of the way to Bridgeport to get to their aunt Cilla's but when they get there she had died and her daughter Eunice wants to take the kids in but then she just wants to put them in foster homes. So then they leave and go to Crisfield to find their grandmother that they have never met before. The ending was pretty bad because nothing cool or funny or scary happened.

Summary: Homecoming
Review: I liked the book. They had many adventures. They also relied on people that they didn't know. It took me a while to read it though. I didn't like that they didn't talk about the father's side of the family. I didn't like the ending either. It would have been better if the mother came back. I liked when they were picking on the farm and Mr. Ruyard chased them. I think the author described things a lot. I also thought that they met too many people. I thought that they should have called someone instead of walking.

Summary: Homecoming
Review: I thought this book was okay. I thought the book boring when they were walking for days and days and the same thing happened every day. I also didn't like the ending. I thought they should have met up with the mom in the mental institution. I wished they talked about the dad more since the only mentioned they he left them when they were young. I did like some of the adventures for example when they were tyring to excape from Mr. Rudyard.

Summary: Homecoming
Review: This book was very confusing in the first few chapters but when I finally got deeper and deeper into the book I understood it more and more and the book turned out to be great! This book is about four kids and their mother. They were going to their Aunt Cilla's house in Bridgeport but instead they stopped. The mother goes in the mall leaving Dicey in charge and never comes out! Now they must live on their own with very little money and food. They decide to go to Bridgeport and on their way there they meet different people that help them along the way. But they have to overcome many problems on their own too.
