Summary: Outrageous Book!
Review: This is a book that touched me. It was truly uplifting. I felt that I, myself, was deserted when Dicey, Sammy, Maybeth and James were deserted by their mother.This book was sad and happy in a twisted way. The way I mean is, I was happy they didn't have to live with their mother and have such wretched lives. I grade this book five stars.

Summary: I liked the book but the ending kind of left me hanging.
Review: I beleive that this is a very good book, but I do not think that it deserves 5 stars because of more than one reason. One being that the ending was kind of abrupt and the other was that there was no real tragedy in the end as I would have hoped for so thats why I give it 3 out of 5 stars. But I intend on reading the sequal.

Review: This book was wonderful!! I can't believe some people didn't like it!! The dialogue made you feel like the characters were real people. The story seemed real because of all the details. I plan to read all of the books in the Tillerman Cycle!

Review: this book shows how 4 children [dicey who is 13 ,james who is 10,sammyis 6,and maybeth is 9] can come together to survive a difficult journy from Peewauket all the way to Crisfield.i think Dicey is the strongest one and i like sammy the best. i'm going to start on Dicey's Song since the 1st was so good.i suggest you read this book.it makes me want to start a journy on my own!!
