Review: This book is excellent. I'm not sure what happened in the book would happen in real life, but there are a lot of things people like me don't think about. I got totally hooked on this book from the first page! It is not difficult to read (vocabulary, etc.) and has a good story to it. This story is one you'll definitely enjoy!

Summary: Greatest Book in the World!!
Review: This is the best book in the world and when I say this I mean it!! I had to read this book for my 8th grade english class and since it was so interesting I read it in a week and I was the 1st one done in my class! and I would recommend Dicey's Song and that is very good also I read that in 2 days! And Plus I have the movie "Homecoming" very good movie but it has alot of parts missing! Read the Book First before you watch the movie!!!

Summary: AWESOME BOOKS homecoming!
Review: I liked this book. It was very well writen and I really enjoyed reading it. I didn't get to the end yet but I don't think the mother will come back. All I have read p to is where they are sitting at the table in their grandmothers house and they are eating for the first time in a while. I like how Cynthia Voiut p0ut the book together and kept the book suspenceful. This was a very good book and I really enjoyed it.

Review: Homecoming is about four kids whoose mother has abandon them at a shopping mall in a strange town. With only 11$ in there pocket they head off to there grandmother's house in Bridgport. When they get to Bridgeport they find out that there grandmother is dead and they meet there cousin Eurnice. After staying there for a while they decide to go to there other grandmothers. Dicey makes money by washing store windows and when she has just enough money her and her brothers and sister head off the there grandmothers house on a bus. Well they don't got enough money to go the whole way so they have to walk part of the way. When they get to there grandmothers house they find that there grandmother is a person who tends to her self and no one less. Well to find out who dicey and her brothers and sister saty with......Your gonna have to read the book. This book was really good and I recommend it to anyone in middle school or higher.

Review: In this book, Dicey's mom left her children. Dicey and her siblings walked all the way to their aunt's in Bridgeport. Then they started to walk to their grandma's house. They had hardly no money, but 11 dollars. Dicey makes it last for as long as it will. Along the journey, they go stay at the state park. A farmer tries to kidnap them on the way. My favorite part of this book is when Dicey goes to live with their grandma, because she really likes them. If I could change something about this book, I would make it longer. Kids eighth grade and up should read this book. That's how I feel. Different people feel different. They should read this because they will enjoy it.

Summary: Run into a great book
Review: Homecoming by Cynthia Voigt was a fantastic book. I would recommend this book to sixth graders and up. I liked this book except when it was slow moving, but in other times it was fast moving and exciting.It was slow moving because they travled all day and told everything that happened to them. It was exciting when they got chased by the farmer and when they were at the cicus. Will Dicey, Sammy, James, and Maybeth Tillerman ever find a home or a famiy member?

Review: Homecoming by Cythia Voight is a wonderful book. This book is a mystery. Once you start, you you cannot put it down. Four kids get dropped off in a parking lot with eleven dollars in their pocket. Their mother went into the mall. Will she come back? Where will they go? Learn how four kids survive with no home or food. This book makes you appreciate your money and house. Will they ever find a place to call home?

Review: Homecoming is a greate book that I feel eveyone should read. The book starts out with 4 kids left in a parking lot in thire mother's car. With out a mother or father they decide to walk to their aunt's house and live with her. That's not all though, just when you think the book should end and have a happy ending somrthing forces them to travel some more. This book shows you how luck we have every thing we have, but also makes you wonder what if this would happen to you. If you have a chance you should read this trilling book!

Review: I borrowed this book from my friend and I knew from the very first page that it was one book I would be hooked onto. Reading about Dicey's survivaly made me thankful to God for the roof over my head and everything that I had. I also noticed how close during the book Dicey's family got. This shows the hardships and real things that are happening in America a lot.

Summary: Exceptional Book
Review: Homecoming by Cynthia Voigt is an exceptional book about a courageous young teenager. When Dicey's mom leaves Dicey, her sister and her two brothers in a parking lot, Dicey has to find a way to get to her Aunt's house. At thirteen, Dicey has to take responsibilities for her brothers and her sister. Dicey aspires to help her family and tries to get them through their journey to safety. I liked how Dicey took control, and she showed her brothers and her sister that they cannot give up no matter what. They have to stick together as a family. She pushed the little ones to keep on striving to safety. I also liked how Dicey tries to work and do things for her family. She is a very magnanimous character. I recommend this book to high school students and young adults because it is for mature readers. It is also a lengthy book, but it is worth taking the time to read it.
