Summary: Homecoming
Review: This book was assigned to me by my reading teacher. Not being an avid reader I was very closed minded to reading a book this long, but I was amazed at how fast I read it. The book is about a girl and her siblings who are abandoned by their mother. The 13 year old, Dicey, faces many challenges in the search for a loving home to become part of. This book trully made me grateful for what I have. I enjoyed it very much, and would highly recomend it.

Summary: Homecoming
Review: I thought Homecoming was a great book. At some points it could get a little boring but the next chapter would be the best. It starts out when a mother abondons her children in their own car at a mall. The children have no one because their father left them a couple of years ago. They walk to their great aunt Cilla's house only to find that she's dead but that their cousion would take them in. After a few weeks they decide to run away to their Grandma's house. When they arrive shes very rude and mean. She has no connection to anyone because she has no phone or no car. All she has is a boat. Finally she lets them stay.I think Homecoming was one of the best books I have ever read. The book keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time.It makes me see how lucky I am to have parents that care about me as much as they do.I would defintely reccomend this book to anyone who likes adventure.

Summary: Homecoming
Review: In school I read the book,"Homecoming." It was an excellent book. I liked it a lot because it always kept me guessing. My favorite part was when the Tillerman kids started getting along with the grandma. I liked that part because i like happy endings. I would not like to be Dicey because she had to make all of the decisions, watch out for the kids, find food, money, shelter and everything else.I would like to be Sammy because he was funny and everyone liked him. He never had to worry about anything. I really liked this book and recomend it to girls who love exciting books.

Summary: Homecoming
Review: In school I had read a book called Homecoming. I thought the book was really good, one reason is because I like the authors writing style. The book is about a thirteen year old girl taking care of her three younger brothers and sister. Their names are James, Maybeth, and Sammy. The theme of the book is never give up. Dicey never gave up when they had no place to live. She didn't let anything get in her way. The question I thought about while I was reading this book was will they survive? I recommend this book to anybody who likes to read adventure stories.

Summary: Homecoming
Review: I think Homecoming was a great book. I loved the way Dicey never gave up. Just like when their grandmother said they couldn't stay, she didn't give up. I also enjoyed how much Maybeth changed. She goes from this little quiet girl to this more out going girl. I think that made the book more interesting. I also liked the way it had me going up to the last few pages, that made me want to keep reading on. I would reccomend this book to anyone who has had to depend on their family for support because these characters do that.

Summary: Homecoming
Review: Homecoming was an excellent book. It was filled with excitment on every page. My only only regrets are that during the middle of the book it became a little boring. But not for long, it comes back with even more excitment than before and has a wonderful ending! Other than that I loved the book! Dicey was my favorite character. She's so brave and she always has a plan. This book was adventurous from beggining to end, and I can't wait to read the sequel, Dicey's Song.

Summary: fantastic
Review: Their Momma went away and left the four children alone in a car to fend for themselves. The story about how they went up against extraordinary odds to find home again is wonderful for anyone to read. This is an extremely moving and interesting book.

Summary: Uhhhh!
Review: Why are we forced to read some of the most boring books in the world!?! Here's the setup. A mother abandons her children in a car so the children decide to go from Rhode Island to Conneticutt(or is it the other way around?) Sounds interesting right? Well it isn't. Most of the time the book's talking about their walk to their destination. My opinion is that this is a bad book.
