Summary: A very well written book
Review: I thought this book was well written, and it kept me on the seat of my pants. I actually read this book in approximately 2 hours, for I could not put it down. It was just two interesting! You've done a great job, Mr. Cormier.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A thrilling story between life and death
Review: this story kept us on the edge of our seats. Though it was a bit hard to understand it was still enjoyable. I recommend it for people who enjoy a twisting tale.

Summary: A wonderful, interesting book!
Review: I read the book in literally one sitting, today in fact, and it was (as i said) wonderful. The book was a bit confusing, but after a quick reread of the father-son dialogue i was fine (read it, you'll understand) Told from various PoV the book shows every aspect of a horrible situation. A distinctly human face was placed upon an all to familiar situation, one that too often blends into the television oblivion. Anyway, the book was terrific, read it and enjoy it.

Summary: A great book...A must read
Review: A mildly confusing tale of terrorism. Talks about things other than terrorism. A great plot with good back up info but a bad ending.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Suspenseful, terrorizing,heartbreaking
Review: I think this book was well written and captivating, however confusing and can be interpreted in many different ways. I really enjoyed it and came to love the characters in the story, even the criminals. Then they all have a horrible fates fall upon them which is, I think a terrible let down. This book is awesome and really makes you think, but don't pick it up to lift your spirits because it won't.

Summary: Oh god...
Review: Wow. That's all I can say, is wow. What man is talented enough to show the human side of terrorism? Robert Cormier is. What man can confuse us and muddy the water so that we're not sure who the bad guys are? Robert Cormier can. How does he do it? Of all of them, only Miro lived. And Mark. Miro and Mark. Miro was free. Mark was...insane? That's another thing that Robert Cormier can do that the rest of us can't. I'm not sure if Mark was crazy or not. For all I know, they could all be crazy. And Raymond...don't let me get to talking about Raymond...he was a child...five years old, I almost cried when I learned what happened to him. And Kate--I knew in advance what would happen to Kate. And there's another thing. How does Robert Cormier manage to surprise me like that when I already know what's going on? Enough of this madness.

Summary: I thought this book was disgusting and inappropriate.
Review: I had to read the book for a high school class, and I was appauled at the material it contained. Not only did it have somewhat graphic, inappropriate elements, but it seemed very confusing, and hard to follow. I don't recomend this book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: You don't want to put it down after you start it!!!!!
Review: This is a great book because it keeps you informed threw many diffrent point of views. You can also take the book in many diffrent ways and still be an awsome book. My suggestion is to read the last 2 chapters first. It doesn't spoil the book but it makes more scince.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: confusing,fast and destructive
Review: this is a very good book, but the ending was really bad .Not an ending ,rather a prelude to bad sequel. you will enjoy this book ,but the end just puts you off the author, you`ll think "what was the point of it?" a good read but if you want 5 or more stars read Dan Simmons
