Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Half Same Here Review: Well I can some what relate to Holland and Cece!! Because I'm bisexual!! I have girlfriends, and I'm not afraid to brodcast it over the net or anything I think how she had to keep it a secret was kinda dumb, because if you are afraid to tell people about the real you , your being true to yourself as well as other people!!
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: At least it has a nice title... Review: Well, I'm glad gay teen fiction has become enough of a genre to contain books this horrible. The characterization is wretched, the dialogue stilted and unrealistic. I couldn't believe a word of the book. Everything about it was fake--actions, reactions, realizations, motivations, the homophobia, even the bloody cliches, of which there were many. It's an embarrassment (...)
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Answers in a beautiful story Review: What happens when you come out to yourself and your friends in high school?
How does it feel to fall in love for the first time?
How can teenagers live their own life when their dreams are different from their parent?s dreams for them?
Peters addresses these questions and many more in this book, ?Keeping you a Secret.? While I feel that this book is definitely written for a high-school-aged audience, there are elements of the story that should ring true to everyone. Peters discusses issues important to everyone in the LGBT community and everyone in general. This book will be great for someone who?s just coming out to themselves and/or the people they care about. I especially recommend it to anyone coming out in high school.
-Surprisingly well written for a young adult book-
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Good Summer Read Review: While I will admit that this is a good summer read, I would not call this book a MUST read. It had a good plot, but had somewhat boring, and at times unbelievable characters. Although I am not gay, I did enjoy seeing what it's like to come out through someone else's eyes. I will never know the pains of coming out, but this book gave me a good idea of what it's like on the other end. It is the story of Holland, a high school senior who is coming to terms with her own sexuality and her feelings for the mysterious and exciting CeCe. It taught me not to judge people and showed me that everyone should be treated equally no matter what. I would reccomend you read this book at some point, whether you are gay, bisexual, straight, or homophobic. It really does have depth to it if you take the time to see it.
