Rating: Summary: Entertaining but Kind of Like the Princess Diaries Review: I enjoyed this book the first time around. The plot line is completely out there but it's a good story to read when you need a laugh, all of Meg Cabot's books are like that. The main reason why I've read the Princess diaries books 4 times each. While Sam is a believeable person with her attitude and personality she isn't so much on the outside. Her sister, Lucy, is also a believeable person but is kind of over-the-top, the main problem with most of Cabot's characters. The same with Sam's little sister, Rebecca. I could relate to school life and the entertainment mentionings in the book. Sam's lists were very enjoyable and brought quite a bit of humor and reality to the book. I have read this book over so I DID enjoy it. I just think that it's kind of a repeat of the Princess Diaries, with the completely out-there plot line, humorous, bumbling teenage main charcter and the humorous and very enjoyable remarks and lists. Almost any teenage girl will like this book and that's who I reccomend it to. If you're under 11 I wouldn't reccomend it to you because some things can be a little inappropriate. I think I'm safe in saying boys will not like this book. If you enjoyed All-American Girl then I strongly reccomend you read the Princess Diaries (they're WAY better than the movie, I assure you). But keep in mind they do have some things that are inappropriate for younger readers, so i reccomend TPD for girls over 11.
Rating: Summary: Nice Chic-Book. :) Review: Samantha Madison is your average New York teenager. Except for the fact that she saved the President from being assassinated by a guy that was standing outside of her art class. And so she is appointed U.S. Teen Ambassador and spends her afternoons bouncing super balls off the Press Secretary's walls. Oh, and one more thing: the President's son thinks she's cute. This book is very funny, much like all of Meg Cabot's books. It is half romance, and half comedy and all teenage girls will like it. You can easily relate to characters in Sam's high school, although Sam herself is sort of un-believable.
Rating: Summary: The Best Book Ever, You should Definatly Read It!!! Review: O my Gosh, I just finished reading the book last night and in my opinion its the best book ever, at lest its the best book I've ever read, and I read a lot... I have soooo many things in common with Samantha Madison, and on the other hand we are completly different, if your daughter(or yourself) are between ages 12 and 14 and if she(you) is not a cheerleader, popular, or geek, and Dumb..., she(or you) will simply LOVE IT!! I am hoping Meg Cabot writes a second part for this book, cause I read it in 1 week and I really want to know if Samantha and David continue dating. anyone(12 to 14) would just love it, and trust me, I know because I am 13 and I loved it, its the best!
Rating: Summary: YOU SHOULD READ IT! Review: Ok.. if you like other Meg Cabot books like 'princess diaries' then this book would be the book that you should read!! it is very funny and the plot of the story is really good. It isn't really about a normal girl, as Sam does save an American President. She has two sisters one is like the most-popular chick at school and the other is a complete genuis and Sam is stuck in the middle. Well the best thing about this story is that Sam falls in LOVE with the Presidents son! i give this book 5/5 as it is one of Meg Cabots best books!!
Rating: Summary: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ............. Review: OK, Let's face it. Sam has WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY TOO many problems to be an ordinary girl, OK? Many adults read the review/book, and think"Oh, Susie would LOVE this book! I'll buy it for her." But, listen. I'm a kid. A GIRL kid. I know what girls go through. And they certainly don't have their life THAT bad.Plus, why can't there be a book about a NORMAL girl? Not a geek, not a klutz, not a popular-wanna-be,just a NORMAL girl? You might like it, but this opinion is coming straight from a young reder.
Rating: Summary: Wicked Book Review: To tell you the truth at first i didn't really think this book was gonna be any good. *gasp* i know, never judge a book by it's cover ^^; but i mean come on now, a girl saves the president, i think we've all had enough patrionism for a life-time, what with the news and all. I only picked it up because a) i had nothing else to read and b) it's written by Meg Cabot. I love Meg Cabot, she totally knows how to relate to us teens and her books are wonderful. SO, i read the book and (of course) it was wonderful and i was totally wrong... It's a HILARIOUS book and the main character is so cool. She's the artistic rebel type, who has dyed all her clothes black because she's mourning for her generation... she thinks she is in love with her cheerleader sister's boyfriend who is an artistic radical, but will the totally hot first son's alluring green eyes change her mind? If you blew this book off before cuz it sounded cheesy, don't cuz it's totally worth it!! >>moondragon<<
Rating: Summary: All- American Review Review: If you like Princess Diaries then your bound to like All- American Girl written by Meg Cabot. Sam Madison is the middle child. She is not popular like her older sister and she is not a genius like her younger sister. One of her other problems is she has a crush on her older sister's boyfriend! So how does a girl like her end up teen ambassador to the UN? That just goes to show you you'll have to read this book to find out! I am 10 years old, I love to read, and this is on my top ten best books because Meg Cabot writes like the people in the story are your friend!
Rating: Summary: This Book Is AWESOME!!! Review: The book "All American Girl" is the best book I have ever read. It captured me as a reader in all the chaos the main character, Samantha Madison, has to go through. It was hard for me to put the book down. This book is suspenseful and I never knew what was going to happen next. It's about a girl named Samantha Madison. She "loves" her sister, Lucy's, boyfriend. Then when her parents make her take art lessons she meets the president's son, David. One day she decides to skip her art lessons. That was the beginning of her life tragedy. That day she saved the president from being assassinated by jumping on the back of a man with a gun trying to shoot the president. Later David ends up falling in "love" with her and when they actually go out on a real date Samantha blows. David finds out she was using him to make Lucy's boyfriend, Jack, jealous. I recommend this book to girls everywhere. It is sad, funny, and suspenseful.

Rating: Summary: All American Girl is the BEST book for Teenagers Review: All American Girl by Meg Cabot is a great book. It is about Samantha who has 2 siblings. Her older sister Lucy who is a cheerleader and very preppy. And a younger sister who is a genius. Samantha is a rebel type. She dyed her clothes all black and only has one friend named Catherine. Samantha winds up getting in trouble because she drawing things in German class. Sams mother signs her up for drawing class. Sam winds up not liking it, because Susan Boones her art teacher made a remark to her that she didn't like. But there is a boy named David who she thinks is cool because he complimented her on her boots. So the second time she supposed to go to art class she doesnt. She goes and listens to cd's. When it was time for her to go home she waits outside for Threasea to pick her up. All of a sudden this guy standing next to her takes out a gun and tries to shoot the president who is in Capital Cookie right across the road. Sam knocks the guy down and saves the president from an assanation. After all of that she is in the hospital because she broke her arm stopping the guy. The president walks in the room with the first lady and his son. His son is David form art class. In the end of the book David and Sam fall in love. Your have to read the book though because there is a big part I left out. This book makes you very excited while reading. I read this book al night long it was so good. This was one of Meg Cabots best books. You'll be amazed.
