Summary: All thumbs UP
Review: Great book Ms. Cabot is a great author. Of all the books I've ever read, her's are the livliest!...

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great!
Review: Sam has a tough life. Her artistic skills are being ruined by art lessons thanks to her older sister Lucy, a popular cheerleader who makes the family eat at 5:00 since she has to go to cheerleading practice. And eating at 5:00 is bad enough but noooooo. Her younger sister who at 12 years old is taking more advanced classes than Sam her must bore her with her theory of the US government hiding Roswell from the people of the USA. Oh, she's in love with her sister's boyfriend.
But that's about to change when Sam saves the President's life....
This is a really good book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A new and cute book.
Review: Samantha Madison thinks that nothing good is going to happen to her. She is the middle child and her folks think that it would help her to go to a art class to help her from drawing during German class.

After Sam finds out that she has to go to art class twice a week she thinks nothing in her life could get worse. Well things do get better well other people seem to think so, but for Sam things are just going down hill.

When Sam stops a madman from trying to kill the President she is an instant hero and overnight celebrity. Everyone is talking about Sam and wanting to know more about her. But Sam doesn't see saving the President as something that big, it was just something she did and she isn't ready to be overnight sensasion everyone wants her to be.

As time goes on and she has more things to do then worry about being the middle child. She has to deal with being the teen advisor to the UN and dealing with all the people wanting to know if she prefers Coke to Pepsi and all the reporters wanting to get interviews. Sam just wants to live a normal life. But is hard for her to do when she spends time with the Presidents son David.

As time goes on things in Sam's life calm and she starts to realize that everything isn't so bad and things will work themselves out.

This was a very cute book. I've enjoyed all the princess diaries books and was happy to say I enjoyed this one just as much. The charactors were great and the story moved along at a good pace. I hope Meg Cabot keeps up the good writing.

Summary: Well written and very enjoyable
Review: I thought All-American Girl was a very good book, very close to being as good as the Princess Diaries series. The story has hints of the same concepts like, being famous and really liking someone that you think you should have, but utterly different in many other ways. I think this book is very enjoyable and sweet, and I think will be a well loved book.

Summary: All in all, a great book!
Review: There have been a few attempts at the president's life before. It happens. But what happens if you are there when it happens, and then decide to take out the assassin before he hits the president? Well a lot of things. First of all you get your arm broken. Second, you become an instant hero. Third, you get invited to the president's house for dinner and become "teen ambassador to the UN". Lastly, you find out that the cute boy in your art class happens to be the president's son. All of this happens to fortunate, (or unfortunate) Samantha Madison in All-American Girl.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I had to put it down every few pages and go downstairs to pace myself, only to come back up a minute later. I couldn't exactly relate to Sam, (since I've never saved the Presidents life before, let alone seen the President in real life color) by I enjoyed looking at her story as an on looker. The only thing was that it was a bit like The Princess Diaries series (also by Meg Cabot) (which I also enjoyed), but it was unique enough that although I noticed it, I didn't care.

All in all, a great book!

Summary: Sweet and silly
Review: It's Meg Cabot's usual schtick: Samantha Madison is a gawky teen who suddenly finds herself in a unique situation, this time as the savior of the president! Like Mia in The Princess Diaries, Gwen Stefani-loving Sam has to deal with the perils of her new-found popularity- juggling the needs of old friends, the demands of new friends, and her own mixed emotions about a romantic prospect. Sure, it's a formula, but Meg Cabot rises above it with her sensitive portrayals of believable teens in unbelievable situations. Although similar to Mia in voice, Sam is a very slightly edgier character: a budding artist and a would-be rebel who dyes her entire wardrobe black. Sam's family is lovingly drawn; they don't always understand each other, but they do love each other. A comic plus is Sam's crush, Jack, another wannabe artist/rebel who only paints "disaffected youths."

Summary: I Loved It!
Review: This book most certainly deserves 5 stars! Samantha Madison jumps a would-be assin and manages to save the life the leader of the free world and all the while is worried about getting busted for skipping art class! Her humorous top 10 lists add a great mix to the story and her major crush on Jack, her sister's boyfriend, and her new feelings on the First Son are very realistic. The ending was great and I liked this book better than the Princess Diaries because the main character is not always whining about how her life is SO over. I definetly recomend it.

Summary: Excellent
Review: Samantha Madison is what you would call an outcast. She's somewhat of a goth/artist. Her best friend, Catherine, wears clothes from like the 1800's, she's in love with her older sister Lucy's boyfriend, and her younger sister is a certified genius.

When Lucy tells their parents that Samantha is charging people to have their picture drawn with their favorite celebrity her parents enroll her in art class, where she meets David, and is humiliated on her first day, which causes her to ditch her next art lesson, and end up being in the right place at the right time to save the president's life. Which immediatley throws Samantha into a whirlwind of popularity and press conferences. Not to mention that the president's son may be falling in love with her. How could someone's life go from so normal to so crazy?

Meg Cabot has another hit with "All American Girl." Obviously she can write on any topic, and this one was original and refreshing compared to the other teen/young adult books out right now. This is a must read for all fans of "The Princess Diaries." A lot of teenage girls will be able to relate completely to Samantha.

Summary: Worst Book Ever!
Review: I hated this book. As someone else had said, it was a replica to the Princess Diaries. Dont read it if u hate fictional stories.....this story would never happen in real life and its wicked weird!!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: All About All American Girl!
Review: This book is one of those books that I could NOT put down. The story moves at a nice, quick pace, but doesn't go too fast where there are a million different plots going on. Meg Cabot gives the reader so much imagination on deciding how the character acts and looks like. This is one of my favorite books to read on a lazy, summer afternoon. It's like Meg Cabot stepped back into the world of being a sophomore in high school! With witty remarks and clever irony, this book will make you stay up til 3 AM reading it!!!
