Summary: Look else where
Review: I'll just come out and say it, this book was terrible. Unlike the Princess Diaries, which I couldn't put down, I had to force myself to read this book. After such a long wait, I fount nothing but disappointment. Cabot tries to make Sam as likeable as Mia, but it doesn't work. Sam a weak, watered down, shadow of Mia, with a lot of black clothes to fill in the blanks. Mia could be you or a best friend. Sam is definitely the type of girl you trip in the hallway at school. She's that annoying. If you were a fan of the Princess Diaries, I'd advise waiting for the fourth volume instead of wasting money on this book. If curiosity gets the best of you, just check it out from the library.

Summary: American Girl
Review: Have you ever read a good book? I have, its All American Girl by the author of

the Princess Diaries, Meg Cabot. Its fiction. This book is in journal form and very easy

to follow. This book has hilarious characters in it like herself Samantha, her sister Lucy

and her parents. There are also some weird characters; the Bread Lady, the man with the

BB gun and Jake the blind man.

Samantha is in love with Gwen Staffina, a rock star. Samantha has a huge crush

on her sisters boyfriend, Jake. Samantha is a very jealous teen, she's not a popular girl.

Will that change? Read the book to find out.

Samantha becomes teen ambassador to the United Nations and the presidents son

has a crush on her. What is Samantha to do?

When I read this excerpt form the book I had a visual picture of what Samantha

looked like; "I saw a delicately featured girl with no freckles in a purple-white cheerleader

uniform, her own bright red hair completely under control and only curling softly where

it tumbled down form a barrette." All American Girl by Meg Cabot page 33.

This book is nothing like the Princess Diaries or should it be compared to it.

Meg Cabot is a wonderful author. I hope you read this book.

Summary: THE ALL AMERICAN GIRL
Review: My name is Saba, I'm 11 years old and I like to read a lot. This book was ok, althoguh most kids can't relate. I like the fact that it was a diary. I like diaries a lot. But this isn't a book that I injoyed as much as I did Meg Cabots other books. Although you can't really relate to those books either. It is still a great book!! I really liked it :)

Summary: A great story, but...
Review: There were some not-so-childish parts. But if your parents let you read anything, then this is an awesome book! It has a great plot, strong characters...and even a little romance!

Summary: AMAZING BOOK FOR ALL GIRLS!!!
Review: This book is about a girl named Sam. Sam is just an ordinary girl. Oh, she also saved the presidents life when he was almost shot by Mr.UptownGirl. Suddenly Sam becomes one of the coolest girls in school. Sam also has a crush on her sisters boyfriend Jack, but, ends up going on a date with someone that you would never see her with. She was also just named teen ambassador for the UN. Sam also is a great artist but, gets in trouble for drawing the kids at school with their favorite famous stars. This book is great for girls of all ages and is loads of fun. I recommend this book to anyone who liked any of the princess diaries books or just looking for a great read.

Summary: An Amazing Book!!!
Review: This book is all about the life of Samantha Madison, who feels out of place in the world which many can relate too. Her older sister is the most popular girl in school and her younger sister is a genius. Sam is just a normal 15 yr old with a talent for the arts. But, after Samantha saves the life of the President of the United States, her whole world as you can imagine changes. The person she thought she was meant to be with suddenly becomes unimportant and she finally realizes that her love was there the whole time waiting... This book was truly one of the best books I have ever read!! I couldn't put it down, and it really makes you think about life, and maybe that love isn't to hard to find, if you don't deny it.

Summary: Purely enjoyable
Review: I'm a huge Princess Diaries fan, and found this book just as enjoyable and a good read while waiting for the next Princess Diaries book. The author writes - as always - with wit and a style that makes her seem like a real teenage girl with these problems. All the character were believable and well-developed: from Samantha's old friend who has become (naturally) popular and stuck-up, and her cheerleader sister who keeps trying to mold her into a perfect celebrity. I couldn't put this book down and reccomend it to anyone who likes a good story.

Summary: Couldn't Put It Down
Review: I'm not one to read that much, however this one just grabbed me. It is wonderfully written. I just love how there is mention of real-life celebrities, bands, places, artists, movies, books, and brands. For example, most books make up names for things (you know, like fictional bands), but this one mentions No Doubt, and Billy Joel. The story has a fair share of moments that make me laugh out loud. Just the little things some of the funnier characters (like her older sister) say really make you smile. By the end of the book I was dying to find out whether or Samantha's love interest, the son of the president, would accept her or not. This was a fantastic book.

Summary: All-American Girl -- a terrific book!
Review: This book is one of the best I've ever read. Being a Meg Cabot fan, I immediately picked this book up as soon as I had enough cash. It was on a lazy Sunday, and I finished it in the same day. The only disappointment about this book is that I finished it too quickly. 5 stars all they way!

Summary: I really like Meg, honest
Review: OK, im not saying this book is pure pig swill, but its not what shes capable of. Ms Cabot is a brilliant author, im in awe of her funny, sweet quirky way of writing and the way that she creates the best men ever seen - or not - imagined then. Princess Diaries and the mediator are good and i know this is for younger readers, but i think that shes become a bit formulaic. Rebecca is just like Doc, Sam and Mia could sisters - except they couldn't becos no sisters are that alike...except maybe twins, and they're different ages...anyway. My point is that all of the characters are like what we've seen before, David = Michael. There are small differences but this just isn't enough to be un-predictable. Sorry to die hard fans - the book is ok, to maybe borrow from the library on a rainy weekend.
