Summary: Cute read but don't expect too much
Review: When I got this book, I was expecting a light hearted read, nothing too major. And I wasn't surprised, yet I was a bit disappointed. It's a cute book, but awfully predictable and I wished Meg Cabot would have gone more in depth with some of the side conflicts, while instead she just focused on the main issue (girl trying to get boy) and kind of ignores the possibilty for a more interesting story. Its more of a book you would borrow from a friend instead of buying at the store - and I still wouldn't suggest it over the Princess Diaries.

Summary: I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!!
Review: PLOT SUMMARY: Sam is a fairly flat-chested red-headed outcast. She dresses in black and her best friend dresses like the precher's wife in a small town. She is forced into art lessons by her parents when she gets caught drawing celebrity character pictures. She claimes to be in love with her sister's boyfriend and ends up saving the president from a crazy nut who tries to kill him while cutting art classes. She is then forced to attend class where she is taught to "see" what's in front of her not only in art but in her love life too. aka David the president's son
MY FEELINGS: I loved this book. The top ten lists were hilirous. I think a lot of it is that I'm also a red-headed left-handed picky eater named Samantha.

Summary: I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!
Review: Have you ever felt that you were out of place... well Samantha Madison sure does. Her older sister is the most popular girl at school and her little sister is truly a genius. She feels her life is over until she suddenly saves the president's life and so she becomes the teen ambassador to the United States of America. This book shows how you should be happy you are yourself and be confident in yourself.

Summary: Hilarious!
Review: If you liked the Princess Diaries books, you'll love this too. All American Girl is just as good - if not better - as the Princess Diaries books. The main character, Samantha, stops an assanation plot - of the president of the United States. Now, Samantha is on the news, in the newspaper, and even invited to the White House! Samantha becomes good friends with the President's son...but it becomes a little more than a friendship quickly. *If you liked the Princess Diaries, you'll like this, and it isn't as nasty, as in dirty*

Summary: All-American Story
Review: All-American Girl is about a teenage misfit. Samantha Madison has wiry, copper-red hair & an all black wardrobe. SHe is your avergae rebellious girl. She spent most of her life hiding in the shadows of her older cheerleading sister and younger genuis sister until, she saves the President of the United States from an assassination attempt. Now she's constantly followed by news reporters and is the most popular girl in her school. Will her lfe ever return to normal? Will she be able to venture from the spotlight long enough to realize who she's fallen in love with?
Meg Cabot is a wonderful author. She's written the Princess Diaries Series and if you love Mia Thermopolis you won't be disappointed by Samantha and her crazy life.
I feel that All-American Girl could easily relate to any teenager, even the non-rebellious. You learn that maybe just because you're labeled one way doesn't mean you must act that way. If you're popular you don't have to own an all Abercrombie and Fitch wardrobe. If you're not popular it doesn't mean you have to be a goth or punk. You don't have to be an individual either, just be yourself. The story also teaches you to see a situation and life for what it is not just what you know or think.

Summary: Praise for all american girl
Review: I am obsessed with all american girl. i love all of meg cabot's works but this definetly steals the cake. although it is highly unrealistic, as many of Cabot's books are, it still was great. i thought it was so creative and made people see what its like to be a major outcast and one day become really popular because you are famous. it also taught me to open my eyes and see...and listen to what people say. this book was so interesting, especially because of the artistic portion. i love art and enjoyed reading about it because i have no artistic ability. i still read it over and over again, even thoygh ive had it for almost 5 months. I love this book and praise Meg Cabot on her great accomplishment.

Summary: I LOVE THIS BOOK
Review: First of all, being a teenage girl, I love Meg Cabot's books. They are funny and good reading, while keeping the bad language to a minimum, unlike a lot of other books you might find in the teen section. This book, in particular, is one of her best. I love the characters, and the humor is great. The best parts are the Top 10... lists at the begining of each chapter. I would recommend this book to anyone!

Summary: follows the princess diaries story line
Review: I read this book because I liked Meg Cabot's Princess Diaries books and I'm reading another book of hers called "Haunted." The book is good. It is the story of Samantha Madison, who feels like a big nothing when compared to her popular older sister and her younger brainy sister. Samantha, however, saves the president's life when she skips an art lesson, and finds herself famous and popular. She even manages to get the attention of the Presidnt's son. But the book follows a plot somewhat similar to the Princess Diaries in the fact that Samantha feels worthless and unliked, and then does something that gets her fame and popularity...not to mention a guy. It is however a nice book, and I would recommend it if you are a fan of Meg Cabot's work.
