Rating: Summary: A really good book Review: I thought this book was very good. It's funny and entertaining enough that you always want to keep reading! This book is about Mia Thermopolis, a 14-year old outcast whose life changes when she finds out that she is a princess. Her father, the prince of Genovia, was diagnosed with cancer, making him unable to have any more children; this meant only one thing: Mia is the heir to the throne. Mia is unwilling to fulfill such a task, making it very hard for her family to turn her into a true princess. However, with much work and perseverence, Mia makes it through training and becomes beautiful and graceful, while in the midst of everything, trying to deal with friends, family, boys, and school. I really enjoyed reading this book! I would DEFINITLEY reccomend it to girls who are going through their teen years, trying to deal with the things Mia did. I give it 5 stars!

Rating: Summary: Princess For Life!! Review: The Princess Diaries, written by Meg Cabot, is about a girl named Mia Thermopolis who lives in New York City with her mother. She also has a father who lives in Genovia, a small country in Europe. Just when she thinks life is getting better, she stumbles upon a problem. Her father, has come to New York to tell her that he has cancer and can't have anymore children. Not only that, but he also mentions something that is quite surprising to Mia. Her father is Prince of Genovia which makes her the Princess. Since her father can't have anymore children, Mia is the heir to the throne. Her Grandmere who is the Queen, travels to New York City to help Mia become a Princess. I like this book a lot. I love that it is in diary form because you can understand the point of view from the narrarator a bit more. I think people that like Fantasy and fiction books would love The Princess Diaries!!
Rating: Summary: Awesome Book Review: As a teenage girl I can totally relate to the character in this book it's very interesting to read about the things after they happen since she is writing this all in a journal i reccomend this book to everyone and they should read it
Rating: Summary: FAN-TAS-TIC BOOK Review: This is an amazing book. Meg Cabot is my favorite author of all time. I saw the movie, the princess diaries, and it dissapointed me especially because i already read the book before. So if you didn't like the movie you should still read the book because it is way better. In the book Mia's character is an individual; doesn't care much about her looks but cares a great deal about the enviroment. She is a unique princess and a very likable character. The book is written, as you could probably guess, in diary form. Mia doesn't know that she is a princess but when her dad has cancer you-know-where he can't have any more kids so she is the only possible heir to the throne of the small european country genovia. The book is a cute and funny tale of how her life changes and is turned upside down by the news and about regular stuff that happens to teen girls. It is like reading a note from a friend. Meg Cabot is a very good writter and i highly recommend this book. There are also a few more in this series that are just as good, if not better.
Rating: Summary: Sophisticated cuteness Review: This book is so adorable! I thought that maybe it would be unbearably fluffy, and while Mia is a sarcastic smart aleck, the observations she makes about her life and those around her are actually pretty intelligent and downright funny. Mia is a typical angst ridden teen who wants nothing more than to blend in with the woodwork, snag the hottest guy in school, and pass Algebra. But before she knows it her world is turned upside down when her infertile (something Mia DEFINITELY does not want to know) Dad announces that he is the Prince of Genovia and that Mia is now his sole heir to the throne. While the man is infertile, he is not crazy. He is very serious. So now Mia is a princess with paparazzi, a bodyguard, and people with ulterior motives. Plus she is NOT passing Alegbra and there is a boxer-clad teacher in her kitchen. What is a girl to do? Read this book to find out! It is aimed at a young adult audience, but I really found the humor in it and I mostly stick to literature. And it's clean enough to let your kid read it without fear. I will definitely hunt down the sequel!
Rating: Summary: ENJOYED IT A LOT! Review: This is the first book of the series, and it's amazing, I'm an older teenager, and I still enjoyed the story of this princess girl, and pure light entertaiment.
Rating: Summary: This book is fit for a princess! (Pardon the pun) Review: This book is wonderful! It's about Mia Thermopolis, a 9th grader who lives in NY with her mom. She is your average girl, who dreams of Josh Richter and a bigger bust size. Then she finds out that she is a princess. UH OH! Than the trouble starts! Grandmere (her grandmother)comes to give her princess lessons and turns her world upside down! I know, it sounds like one of those books that are so unbelievable that its stupid; but trust me:you will not want to put this book down!
Rating: Summary: ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS IN THE WORLD! Review: When I first read this book, I was flabbergasted. This book is so wonderful and so funny. Everyone can relate to Mia's problems. Well, most of them. Her failing grade in Algebra and her crush on her best friend's older brother. Read this book and Princess in the Spotlight, in Love, and in Waiting. You'll love these books.
